While her personality isn't the warmest or engaging, I can deal with that as long as I am getting my needs addressed. When I switched to Tidal Wellness, I was told that the monthly fee would include having access to the doctor and administration via text or phone after hours. This was especially appealing since the main office phone rarely worked or was answered. This is definitely not as advertised. While you can text, it does not mean you will get a response. And I cannot count how many times the office phone was not functioning. Between the inability to get in touch with staff and the dirty exam table paper that still had the prior patient's imprints on it, I was a bit shocked. In addition, if you believe masks are important during a pandemic (as literally every other medical provider I have been to does), you may want to reconsider. I have never seen the doctor wear one, and her staff are hit or miss (they usually only put one on if you do). However, I continued to give the benefit of the doubt and attributed this to being overwhelmed with the start of a new business. Also, I really did not feel like starting over with someone new, so I continued. I am very active in my medical care and I believe it is important to be proactive. I ask questions and make sure I understand. The final straw came when I requested some simple labs be run. Dr Griffin obliged. However when I get the labs back, only a portion of them were run, but she had added on labs that were unnecessary. I realize I am not a doctor, but because I was the one requesting the labs and it wasn't due to actual symptoms occurring, there was Absolutely no medical basis for her to run these labs. A sidenote... My rheumatologist had run these exact special labs less than 30 days prior and they were completely fine. Now I am trying to battle with my insurance company to get them to pay for the same labs that were done in such a short period of time. There is the potential that I may be stuck with this bill. I have attempted numerous times to reach out to Dr Griffin to professionally and politely discuss this issue. She has avoided me. I stopped in to make an appointment and spoke with Nick. He scheduled me for a Telehealth appointment but then never put it in the system. When I called at the time of my appointment, he admitted his error, but then he responded with " that happens sometimes." Neither he nor Dr Griffin showed any real interest in trying to resolve this situation. I am not one to leave reviews; however, when a patient is paying money out of pocket for services, they should be aware of what they are receiving. And when we are talking about health...we deserve better as patients. I will happily pay the monthly fee for the remainder of this month and for next month. Based on my experiences going into the office, it is clear to me that tidal wellness needs it more than I do. The professionalism of this office is grossly suspect. I would caution anyone to do their research and be very careful when choosing whether or not to make this practice your point of contact for medical care. My recommendation for Dr. Griffin is that she spend some time training on office management. While she may have medical training, business management is clearly lacking. When you choose to run a business, you are choosing all of it.

And when I was at one of my appointments which was only two the whole time, the doctor that isn't even my doctor just walked right into the room while the nurse was checking me out, thank God I had my clothes on! Roisin, comes off as a nice girl, but when you tell her something she hears something else, which is very scary if you're there for health care. Very scary indeed! I will be calling the better Business bureau the medical department because in 2 weeks for 4 wrong prescriptions, is unsafe! And they got my medical records and they changed everything in my prescriptions and healthcare, it's beyond scary! The office is also incredibly dingy and dirty I absolutely do not recommend this place, run for your life.... literally! No patient should have to spend hours on the phone correcting prescription mistakes by a healthcare provider, or be told they need to come into an appointment because they messed up. They need to start being accountable for their actions and mistakes on their own. It's not the patient's fault the responsibility to fix this.

Dr. Gutsin has always been there to help my autistic son. He treats him with respect and explains…read morehis reasons for assigning treatment in a way that he can understand. He is one of the few doctors my son feels comfortable with. He treats his patients like friends and family. In a recent appointment, my son was worried that he had not lost weight. He has a medication that keeps weight on and he is currently about 100 lbs too heavy. His past visits..my son would show that he'd put on 1 or 2 more pounds. But this last visit..he gained none. Dr Gustin gave him big praise saying that he's headed in the right direction. And that if he keeps going on the same path, he will probably find his weight improving. My son walked out of there with a big smile on his face and renewed faith in eating right and exercising. Now his goal is to keep Dr Gutsin smiling. I really appreciate that Dr Gutsin cares about his emotional state as well as his physical state. He looks out for his patients.

I let the first problem with my medicine go .... this second encounter i had to multiple times go in person and call and leave messages to even be able to get a refill. What a headache. Which is exactly what you can expect from this place. Vanessa gave me my diagnosis and told me they would refer me somewhere but has failed to do so. I got aggravated with the front desk not being able to comprehend the fact that just like my paperwork says my preferred name..... is obviously my preferred name. I shouldn't have to hand hold a pharmacy or a doctor's office to do their job when I dont work for either of them. I did offer to apologize to her front desk and she did nothing but talk over me and tell me about her husband chuck Charlie whatever and how he doesn't get upset about his doctors calling him the wrong name..... well im not Vanessa's husband and that has 0 to do with me as a patient. She kicked me out of this practice because she said i was rude and that im not happy with their practice.... welll...... you won't be either if you decide to come here.
