Cafe looks respectable and market seem to have some quality options when these places are open during the day. I was around here about 630 pm and it was still probably a bit more interesting for me to get something here than the typical convenience store or typical fast food. Picked up a turkey wrap for about 2.29 as they were going to toss it if not sold sorta thing. I felt a vibe that I stuck out as not a local there. Tried to offer a random stranger points for my purchase but he claimed he didn't have a market card despite buying so much stuff. Felt I might've scared him and I just kept my distance from him after that :/ I just wish I had picked up the 99 cent sliced mushrooms that I could've eaten the next day and maybe a bakery item or too many haha. Maybe next time if I am up that way.

The cashiers are so friendly and the ordering process is easy (once you get the hang of it) kiosks where you order and pay all in one. If you are getting a drink and chips, you have to pay separately at the cash register which is slightly inconvenient. Indoor and outdoor seating first come first serve but it does tend to turn over quickly. It can get crowded and the shopping area does get congested. There was a wait for the kiosk when we went today but the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. A lot to see and plenty to try. We will be back to sample more of the menu for sure.

Now this is their only stand alone location (they still offer their popular food items inside Makers, still located in Dublin Town Center) and it is one of my favorite places - the addition of the cafe was genius and it's in a quaint store front in Doylestown. I went to their opening and have been coming back ever since. I love their seasonal options and that they partner with local businesses to sell such amazing goodies - particularly their baked goods. Their sandwiches I've tried have also been amazing but they sell out fast. I still come here to pick up food items- they do a great job of having unique products and they feature a lot of them in their food they serve. The service is always great and the owners Jess and Kevin are the sweetest! Love a family owned small business. First off, there were two people behind the counter, a young man and an older woman. I have never seen either one of them before. Usually, the staff wears green smock-style aprons with "The Larder" printed across the chest. These two people were not wearing aprons. When I got up to the register, I asked about a specific product's availability and was looked at like I was from another planet. I asked again and was given a quick, non direct, somewhat of an answer. Then after I paid, I said "thank you", to which both employees stood silent and turned away. No "you're welcome", no "have a nice day". That is definitely not the normal there. Also, I was not given a bag- I had to struggle carrying my purchases to the car. I hope the original owner is alright and was just off for the day. If today was any indication of how the store will be from now on, I think I will shop elsewhere.
