I was shocked that she was questioning his validity. After continuing to argue with me, she finally huffed off and said that she would have to ask her manager. They finally got me a table, but we sat there waiting for service for a ridiculous amount of time--something to do with the bartender waiting on us. Kimpton has always impressed me with their hospitality and extremely dog-friendly hotels. Sadly, they have completely missed the mark with the Claret Hotel and restaurant Saverina.

That says a lot about who you hire to run your restaurant, total professionalism. It's nestled in the this great location not far from 1-25 and Belleview on Newport and you can even get there by taking lightrail and walking over a few blocks. So location is super convenient to get to. But my the real pleasure is in the food, always fantastic. I had the MOULES FRITES P.E.I blue mussels, shallot, white wine garlic broth, baguette, paprika-lemon aioli, and French fries; the broth is well sipping worth and wonderful with the toast. I also had the Caesar Salad and it was a meal by its self, I brought it home as my eyes were bigger than my tummy! Great for lunch today as it wasn't over dressed!
