I don't know that it means the portions were any smaller than on a plate, and it made it convenient for the waiter to bring out a display carrier, but it was still a bit odd. One thing that struck me was that everything -- from the flatbread, to the Caesar salad, to the gnocchi, to the dessert, was just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Not offputtingly so, but a little surprising. SERVICE Service was reasonably good, and our waiter generally showed up when we needed them.
