This review is long overdue for Landmark Dentistry. I was referred here by a friend shortly after moving to Charlotte, and let me just say this upfront: I am not afraid of much in life except the dentist. Especially the Cavitron. If you know, you know. My teeth are super sensitive, and just hearing that ultrasonic cleaner used to make my hands clammy and my knuckles turn white. Enter Samantha, my dental hygienist, who is honestly one of the most intuitive healthcare professionals I've ever encountered. She is quirky, professional, calming, incredibly gentle, and somehow seems to read your emotions before you even say anything. Her bedside manner is absolutely exceptional. She pays attention to every little reaction to make sure you're comfortable, which for someone like me makes all the difference. For years, I always requested hand scaling because I was so nervous about the Cavitron, even though I know it takes longer and is much more labor intensive. During my last visit, Samantha very carefully introduced the Cavitron in areas that weren't sensitive, and the second she noticed one tooth bothering me, she immediately adjusted and finished the rest by hand. It was honestly the perfect compromise and such a compassionate approach to patient care. The office itself is extremely professional, clean, and welcoming. Easy parking, elevator access to the second floor, a comfortable waiting room, coffee station, cold water, friendly front desk staff -- everything runs smoothly and efficiently. They really do a nice job making what is, for many of us, a stressful experience feel calmer and more human. And yes, I still get nervous every single appointment. I usually don't eat beforehand because my gag reflex is terrible when they tilt the chair back that far. But Samantha somehow manages to make the whole experience manageable, and that alone deserves five stars from me. If you're new to Charlotte and looking for a dentist, I absolutely recommend Landmark Dentistry. And if you can book with Samantha, do it. I'm fully Team Samantha over here, and after a couple years of going to this office, she is honestly the reason I keep coming back. read more

The moment I walked in for my first appointment (having relocated from another state to Charlotte North Carolina) the greeting, staff, Denise, Dr Tripp and Finn the therapy dog were warm, friendly and couldn't do enough to make a new patient and for that matter any Pt. feel comfortable and welcome. I'm not one who writes reviews however not writing about the experience is not fair to this amazing team. I cannot believe I am writing , that I look forward to my next Dental appointment. We've been coming to landmark as a family for YEARS! It was an emergency that brought us here, when our regular Dentist was unable to be reached. It was almost 11pm at night and Dr. Tripp called us on his cell phone and took care of my husband right then and saw him in the office early next morning. We've never turned back. I have been visiting Landmark Dentistry at Mallard Creek, Charlotte for last almost 5+ years. The entire team has worked on my Root Canals, Implanting Crowns, Fillings and routine Cleanings. I am very happy and satisfied with their Dental work and Patient services. All fine until recent visit. poor communication, waste of time and gas. office is an hour away and nothing could be done due to poor communication about the process after waiting 2 weeks for the visit. this delayed completion by 2 weeks. process already long to begin with, now more time is tacked on. left very very unhappy. I expected more personal approach for a 10k bill which is paid in full. I managed my end of the bargain and paid when I said I would with cash. I just had my third visit with Dr. Armen and his wonderful staff, and they are nothing short of AMAZING!! The entire staff is awesome! SUPER friendly, and very knowledgeable. Mrs. Ashleigh (I hope I spelled that correctly) assisted me with my deep cleaning and had me laughing the entire time! They made me feel very comfortable as always and took great care of me! Everyone at this dental office is wonderful! The tone is set by the smiling, friendly staff members who greet you as you come in. The dentists and the assistants are caring and very professional, the equipment is state of the art, and the chairs in the rooms are comfortable enough to sleep in! I was very skeptical at first because the last Dentist wasn't this good. Getting my dentures was fantastic they fit well, they look great and I couldn't wait to try them out. Surprisingly enough my breakfast was awesome. I love the staff and the way everyone made you feel like you mattered not just another number. I'm actually from Florida but I spend my Summers in Charlotte. I've used Landmark Dentistry a couple of times. This Summer, I broke a crown. I was able to get in to see Dr. Tripp and they fixed me up. The office staff is pleasant and the practice seems to be well run. I have been going here for almost 17 years. The staff, hygienists, drs are tremendous! They are honest and put my best interest ahead of schedules. I have had emergency treatments that brought them in on snow days among other crazy things. Still, they smile and never do I feel like an inconvenience. Cant say enough good things. read more
