Dr. Huria is an incredible dentist and I highly recommend seeing her for your dental care. She is genuine, prioritizes patient care, and provides you solutions to keep your teeth clean and healthy. If you are considering this office, don't. They recently changed their policy where their latest appointment is 4PM. This is understandable (I think?), but the way they executed this is absolutely insane for a service business. They called with a week's notice to tell my entire family we had to reschedule. The options to reschedule would mean my kids would have to take off school, and my wife and I would have to get appointments on vacation days (earliest appt 7AM, latest 4PM, no weekends). They apparently have so much business they don't need to work full days. I doubt this is the case, I think they are just terrible business operators. You would think they would grandfather in any existing appointments at a minimum, but no. Warning - if you have an appointment here, you may get a call days before because they have something that came up and you will need to reschedule. Just ridiculous. This is a landmark we will never visit again....... read more

Apparently Dr. Baldwin sold his practice to Dr. Tripp in the last couple of years. Debbie Noblett is the new office manager...she seems to be incharge of everything! I had an anxiety issue that had gotten worse and worse...they advised me to start calling for a valium before appointments. When Debbie called to remind me of an appointment I told her this and said it is in my file...she was very condensending and said that I didn't really need it just for a cleaning. I cancelled my appointment and was pretty upset. My husband called the office she apologized to him and everything was straightened out. I needed a crown...remember, any meds from this place is like pulling teeth ;-) I like to refer to dr. jennifer slaughter as Doctor Pain now...I was barely num for the crown drilling and in pain the whole time. I tried to tell her, she would just say it's ok...done in a sec. I don't think she properly applied the novicaine, as my cheek was numb, but my tooth felt every touch. I had a panic attack on the way home...it was horrible and draining. The pain lasted several days...they kept recommending using motrin and advil alternating them....when this didn't help, I was chastised for needing "excessive amounts" of pain medication...which I hadn't received!!! When I asked to speak to the owner of the practice, deb said she was close to him and that she had just done everything she could for me. They are a bad practice, do not listen to patients, will not escalate problems that occur. I would say find another dentist....there are some nice ones around here! read more

My daughter and I have been here since we moved to Charlotte about 6 years ago. The office staff is friendly and helpful. All of the medical staff is cheerful and accommodating. My care has always been top-notch. I had a problem once with a crown but they made sure they got it right although it required a couple of minor touch ups. The doctors have different specialties and some are highly accredited and recognized in those areas. The waiting room is on the smaller side but is comfortable and has an amazing selection of current magazines although I never have to wait long enough to get a proper article in. I can't relate with the negative reviews. I am suspecting that these people had very isolated experiences or were just having a bad day. Going to the dentist can be stressful and unpleasant for some under the best of circumstances. Overall, I have no reason not to recommend Landmark. If I had issues I would be somewhere else by now. read more

I am a transplant from California and I have been going to the Dentist for many years now, but the BEST cleaning and repair dentistry ever has been with the Landmark Dentistry in Matthews. From the office personnel and especially Dr. J.O. Clark as one of their premiere Dentists, I can say that I actually enjoy going to the Dentist now. Dr. Clark took care of my fillings this morning, without pain, and explained exactly what he was going to do before he started. I am very pleased with Landmark Dentistry in Matthews at 434 N. I had such an amazing visit today! The front desk girls were very nice. The office is absolutely beautiful and clean. Loved the music choice they had playing. I'm mad I didn't catch the name of the girl that was I believe the dental assistant, because she was so sweet and caring. I was getting a tooth pulled so I was very nervous but both her and Dr. Alisha Huria were very calming. They both checked in with me through out the whole visit to make sure I was okay. Dr. Alisha Huria Was so sweet and absolutely great! And they are affordable! I will definitely recommend and will make this my home dental office! Great job landmark! read more

I couldn't disagree more, with the last review if I tried! Seems like when people are mad they will leave feedback, but when they are happy it is much more rare. Well.....here's my thoughts......... This place is great! Everybody that has ever helped me since I've started using them treats me like family. The ones that recognize you will usually go out of their way to say hey and ask how you've been. All of the work I've had done at Landmark has been great (especially the Teeth Whitening!!) They do a little bit of everything, which is very helpful :) They can also do 7am appointments sometimes...so if you have a Mon-Fri job you can get in before work :) I'll give them 6 stars out of 5! read more

I recently had to have a root canal in one of my teeth and rather than referring me to a specialist they told me they could perform it in house. Not only did it take 2 days and over 8 hrs to just do the root canal -- because they don't have the appropriate tools, it wasn't done right and I ended up having to get another root canal by a specialist. Landmark told me they were going to reimbursement for the root canal and then only paid partial. I have tried contacting Dr. Tripp several times regarding this and have never received a call back. I have had a lot of issues with my teeth and this is by far the most horrendous experience ever. I would never ever recommend this practice to anyone. read more

I have been going to this dentist's office for over a year and have had nothing but the best experience with them. I have sent my boyfriend and some family members to them as well. The very first thing that got me started with them is the fact that they have their own "insurance" to help people without insurance pay for dental exams and a certain discount off dental work.
