I needed a same day appointment because of the pain associated with my issue. (After all that she FINALLY said we can't do a same day "you can go to urgent care") I said thank you and hung up-She clearly cannot represent the brand... NOW AS FAR AS THE TOP TIER SERVICE AT PEARL DENTISTRY... CHEF'S KISS! I called in and was greeted with the most welcoming and empathetic voice and professionalism from the front desk staff (I could almost kick myself for letting my pain make me drop the ball and forgot to get her name- she needs a shout out) She asked me how quickly can you get here? Technology and Intake- sent me a message for check in to my phone, easy and effortlessly created without feeling like I'm putting everything and my blood type on there (I've had some forms I wanted to just exit and this was very direct, straight to the point and not a dragged out process.) 3. Wait time- by the time I blinked they were calling me to the back and that was perfect because with the toddlers they can get a little too busy us moving to the back as quick as we did helped a lot. (Not to mention they had snacks for them and YouTube that kept them cool, calm and collected during my visit) 4. My Tooth Fairy Dr. Amanda Curtlin, DDS What a refreshing experience to know that the standard of service does not stop at the Front staff but in the individual rooms with back staff (Dental assistant/X-ray tech/ pre-op- very personable young lady!) Dr Curtlin made my nerve wrecking experience easy and effortlessly created a great environment for me to relax and provided a clear understanding of what was happening, why it was happening, and what we need to do to stay safe during & after care. Never in my life has a dentist made me feel comfortable enough to hum through a tooth extraction. I mean she carried the tunes with me, checked in on me after every line of the song, and still carried out a full tooth extraction without missing a beat! I think I even heard her sing to the dental assistant to drain the site AND I LOVED IT! She communicated with me the entire time, telling me to make sure I tell her if I feel any pain vs pressure, paused if she didn't understand what I was saying even if it was something as simple as you both are doing great because at that point they weren't just my cheer squad, I was theirs! I bought a Groupon to Advanced Dentistry and have gone twice now; once for a cleaning/X-rays/care plan, and once for some fillings. Both visits were an excellent experience. I had a 30 minute wait for the first visit and a 10 minute wait for the second, but once I was in the dentist's chair, my experience went as well as one could expect. Both the dental hygienist and Dr. Bowman were incredibly friendly, gentle, and informative. You can tell Dr. Bowman is very passionate about his job and really cares about his patients. The office is very clean and up-to-date. I had no pain with either visit- something new to my dental history. Normally when getting a filling, I have to grunt for more anesthesia while the dentist's fumbling around in my mouth and pinching my cheek with his instruments. Somehow, this time around, I was never in any pain throughout the procedure. Yay! I won't be so afraid to go back now, thank goodness. After several consultations with cosmetic dentists in Charlotte, I chose Dr. Wilson because his before-and-after gallery truly stood out, and his virtual consultation felt refreshingly honest. Some other dentists had recommended Invisalign followed by veneers or a full set of veneers, but Dr. Wilson listened carefully, offered thoughtful options, and never made me feel pressured. We decided on two porcelain veneers for my central incisors. My case wasn't an easy one, as Dr. Wilson had to precisely match the color and translucency of the veneers to the rest of my natural teeth, which is much more challenging than placing 20 veneers made at the same lab. It took no time for me to get a free consultation which went pretty smoothly. Sheila and Dr Valeriano explained to me the best treatment for my teeth and payment options available to me. Dr. V even told me about my airway and alerted me to other possible health concerns that I may need I get addressed if the braces didn't help. Dr V was my second orthodontist I saw for consultation and unlike the other orthodontist, he told me I only needed one extraction for my 24 month treatment and I could start the treatment as soon as I was ready and get extraction later. Previous orthodontist said I needed 3 extractions and 30 month treatment. Thankfully I didn't even need one extraction with Dr V in the end! Dr V has saved me a lot of money and even offered $500 off my treatment. Although I wanted Invisalign I got braces but the kind that is clear on top so it has made my braces experience much more enjoyable as an adult. The office is very clean, the front desk staff always great me with a smile and are prompt to service me. Even now during COVID the staff has done a great job taking temps and making sure the office is free of patients so less room for any passing of virus. My first patient care coordinator Brittany was great! She always explained what she was doing but also took a personal interest in what I have going on. All the others for the most part have been great as well. I see Dr V each appointment unless I'm just going to get my wires taking off for a cleaning and the office has always been able to accommodate my cleaning schedule!
