Updating on 1/28/2025--enjoyed my first experience so I purchased a Takeuchi mini excavator from them on 7/25/2024 with a quick coupler, thumb, and bucket. The thumb it was delivered with was too short and obviously incorrect. Salesman immediately told me they would correct it. It is now1/28/2025; nothing has happened, they have been avoiding my calls for a while, and it seems like we are headed to small claims, since the part they claimed is on backordered is verified to be in stock at the vendor. Do not accept delivery unless EVERYTHING is there. Do not pay them until EVERYTHING is correct. Learned a lesson here. read more

They don't even deserve 1star. I've had to do business with these jokers for over 4 years and I'm done! Don't ever buy a battery from these guys because they keep any batteries they may have in the back and they're probably no good this is the 3 rd battery I've went thru . The first time I was off by 2 months on my warranty so I had to buy a new one . Now 5 months later the battery is buckling and swelling out. I know this is not normal so I went up there because they told me from the first time that it has a 1 year warranty. Back up in there thinking yeah no issues. I got my receipt. It's only been five months. Give me a new battery. I had to wait until this guy made phone calls to his boss asking him well what should I do? Clearly you give me a new battery. This guy goes to the bat comes back with a box opens it up in front of me and it's damaged. The terminal is bent and you know what I'm told either you accept this or you have to wait cause we got batteries on backorder and we don't know when you'll get another battery so I said well does my warranty start over again since you know this is supposedly a brand new battery and they told me no it starts from the time you originally purchased the old battery so now I've only got maybe six or seven more months on this brand new supposedly brand new battery don't do business with these guys. They're not honest they give you a hard time every time you try to bring something back up to get it replaced they act like they don't know what they're doing And every time I come up here it's always been a bad experience. Take it from me. Don't go over here don't buy anything cause they'll give you a hard time but they're quick to take your money. I had a hustler and it needed repairs. $1400 in repairs and the lawnmower wasn't even three years old. I had to eat that now I'll come back the third time with a battery and they wanna give me issues so I decided after this I'm done with these guys they don't know anything about customer service and they don't know how to treat customers so if I was you any of y'all take your business elsewhere or you will get screwed by these people I guarantee it done with these clowns read more

Mahindra and New Holland!! We recently bought a Mahindra tractor from this place. We are newbies to the whole farm world but we were given lots of information on tractors and after some research on my husbands part.....we went with a Mahindra tractor. Ralph helped us pick the best one and got us hooked up and two days later they delivered the tractor to our land. The delivery guy knew his way around town, so that helped! Didnt want him lost with our newly purchased tractor. They also sell riding "Bad Boy" lawn mowers here along with brush hogs and canopies for your tractor. I purchased a Club Cadet ZTX5 mower from them. Ralph the salesman was very friendly and easy to deal with. They delivered my new mower and showed me its features and basic maintenance. Unfortunately, it didn't track straight. I called and they scheduled a home service call and tried a basic fix. It did not fix my issue. A follow up visit the next day by one of their senior mechanics did fix the pull to the right issue I had experienced. I love my new mower! read more

Purchased a brand new chainsaw and the specified oil they sell. I had trouble starting the chainsaw the first time and then it never ran again. Landmark says that there is nothing they can do. Chainsaw ran for 3 hrs so all in all I have a brand new chainsaw that doesn't work. Be careful with these guys. read more

Dishonest Salesperson in Ralph Koch, do not do business with them. I reached out to Bad Boy about the 60" ZT Elite and was referred to Landmark Waxahachie (closest Bad Boy retailer to where I live). Ralph called and said he would "keep an eye out" for that mower. I stopped by and saw they had one (with a Kohler engine) in the display room (no call from Ralph saying they had one on-hand). At least I was greeted by the salesperson on the floor; I introduced myself and mentioned I had spoken briefly with Ralph over the phone regarding my wants. Turns out the Salesperson I was speaking to was Ralph. Interaction at the time was good, I left with a couple of mower options as Ralph was trying to sell me on a Hustler Fastrack (more expensive mower). Plus, he was going to "throw in free delivery" Went in days later and told Ralph I wanted to proceed with the Bad Boy. He told me the process, said I could text him when I have the financing process done. I sent Ralph what he needed and he said it'd be the next day before he got back with me. After pestering him for several hours, he picks up the phone and said he's on the way to my house with the mower. Mind you, he gives me no numbers on final cost, just says he'll be leaving shortly and hangs up. I call him back to get the specifics for the financing and he tells me the price financed. Side note: Bad Boy offers a military discount, and has the price sheet and discount amount online for public access. After calculating the price on my end, the final price came out several hundred dollars more than it should. When trying to discuss the price with Ralph over the phone, he grew frustrated and tried to tell us that it's "simple math". I told him I understood but that it did not add up and he got even more frustrated and threw in that he's "delivering it for free" (it is actually a standard at Landmark after calling another location). Ralph suggested I come in to discuss it in person and then hangs up on me. I found one with a Kawasaki engine (better than Kohler) for less than what Landmark was charging. We purchased our first commercial grade Hustler ZTR from Ralph at Landmark Equipment Waxahachie, Tx around 06 or 07. We have service performed by them for the next 17 years along with purchasing blades, belts, filters and other maintenance items. So, last year we were pretty dry around here and so not a lot of mowing. However, we did need to do a little mowing and remember I said DRY. A spark a fire and say goodbye to the first Hustler lawnmower. Burnt to the ground. No body injured and no major property damage other than said Hustler mower. We have great insurance with Hochheim, and their agent came the next day and boom!! Customer service at its finest. We wait until rain comes and we now need to go back to Landmark Waxahachie to see Ralph. Ralph sells us our second new Hustler Commercial Mower and we are on our way. We use the mower to a point where we have 29 hours on it and things are going great. My wife is out mowing the other day and she comes in to tell me the left drive lever doesn't feel quite right. (She is retired and likes mowing, what can I say) I stop and go take a look and she is correct does not feel right. I say no problem. We hook up the trailer load the mower and off to Landmark Waxahachie we go. We arrive and I walk in smiling and saying howdy to everyone (5 employees, no customers). Now folks, I have never felt more isolated than at that very moment. There are three guys behind the counter and never really even made eye contact, one guy around the corner eating a sandwich and I see Ralph in his office. I start basically telling whoever is listening about my new mower issue. The guy behind the counter finally acknowledged my existence and the first thing out of his mouth was "You can leave it here if you want, it will be about three or four weeks before someone can even look at it". I just about fell over. After almost twenty years of business, I get leave it if you want to. Not wanting to make a scene out of it, I just said nope and walked out. I did pause a let the young man know he just lost a twenty-year customer. I drove away very dissatisfied to say the least. I thought about it for a little while and thought you know; Ralph would never approve of this type of treatment of one of his customers. So, I called Ralph and that is where the shock meter really went off the charts. You would have thought I asked him for a kidney. He had no interest in getting involved and his last comment was "sorry this happened to you". Folks, take your money and business elsewhere for you are not appreciated at this establishment. Landmark Equipment in Waxahachie has been the worst. We dropped off our mower on April 10, 2023 for warranty work. Was told it should be about three weeks. As of today we are going on 6 weeks. Every single bit of communication with their service department and service manager, Andrew, was initiated by me. When I called to ask a status he told me that he took other smaller jobs and it put him further and further behind. This could have been a great experience but because of their lack of concern and care for their customers it has not. After getting my mower fixed it will never go to this company and I will never do business with them again. read more

Bought a new Hustler 56" zero turn. After 14 hrs run time, it won't start. As it is a commercial grade mower, it's too heavy to push onto a trailer. The mechanic said a new pto switch might work, ordered it, and we could install it. When part came in, come to find out it's not under warranty because we didn't bring it in. Upon leaving, we spoke to Ralph (head salesman) who said we should've talked to him first, but now it was too late. So much for a warranty on a $8000 lawnmower. If you can't bring it in, it's not covered! This is the third time we have bought equipment from them. Had no idea the warranty was worthless. How do you load heavy equipment when it doesn't run? I'll also mention we could've ordered part thru Amazon for 1/2 the price. Not looking forward to the future with this mower. We had starting problems with the cub cadet we purchased for years. Finally, read some reviews that suggested a simple change in a part that fixed the starting issue. Save yourself some aggravation and go somewhere that honors a warranty and has equipment that works beyond a few weeks. read more

We picked up the mower we bought today and every person who helped us was very friendly and helpful. Terrible communication and service. Called three times to check on my reservation and was told every time that they would call me right back, which never happened. My reservation was two hours late being delivered and when it finally showed up the equipment didn't work properly. Cost me time and money. Will never use them again read more
