An old building? Count me in! Anyway of course on vacation in the area I had to put this on our list of restaurants for dinner. We loved our food, service was great and my son enjoyed eating my fries (after ordering him pasta but nope wanted my fries lol) Such a gorgeous place I took so many pictures.

We were a party of about 40 people associated with the US Military Academy at West Point celebrating our annual autumn dinner. This was our first dinner since the COVID restrictions and our first visit to this restaurant. Because we were a large group we selected a fixed menu from several offerings. We chose the "Sage Dinner" which consisted of several very nice courses with entrees of chicken, salmon, or steak. Everyone was delighted with their choices which were created by a CIA graduate. The cozy, historic bar was a favorite. The bar and table servers were attentive and top notch. Everyone agreed that it was one of our best venues.

I ate here the other day with 3 others. We were greeted and seated quickly. I ordered the mac & cheese appetizer and it was probably the best I ever tasted. It was cheesy and had a distinct smokey flavor. I ordered the fried chicken meal with deviled eggs, biscuit, pickles and collard greens. It was very good. My martini came in an appropriate glass, which was less fragile than the traditional martini glass. Prices are a little high but the food is worth it. I was told the Landmark Inn's turkey meal was great as well. I definitely would recommend this place to have a great meal. My only problem was that it was very loud. I realize it is not necessarily the owners fault, but maybe wall off a portion or try to fix the acoustics of the place?

Potato soup- special

My friend and I have been going to Warwick from the city for 6 years and we just found this gem. We were so hungry, we didn't take the photos to showcase everything! Beautiful location and LOVE how there is space between the tables so you can have your space with your party. The view outside of the mountains in the trees is wonderful and they have heaters! Our table had: Potato soup (you taste the cream, bacon bits, and green onion), apple pecan maple salad (so fresh), mussels (dijoinnaise) with sour dough, and risotto and sea scallops. We had red wine- Chianti and the Cotes De Rhône. All the dishes had great flavor. The soup, Mussels, and risotto were rich. I wish we had room for dessert. We will be back to try more like the short ribs, burger, wings, turkey sandwich, cast iron shrimp and desserts..... so much fun! Staff was AMaZING! Thank you so much for a wonderful meal!

Charming restaurant. Was looking for a bit to eat while in the area and stumbled across the inn. We did call prior to arriving as they get busy quick! Ordered the Caesar (lighter dressing) salad, and French onion soup to start followed by the burger and the meatloaf. Food was good , I'd prob pass on the Caesar salad. Restaurant is quaint and charming! Prices seem fair. Would defiantly recommend for some god comfort food.

I was in town for a weekend and I had a memorable experience here. Love the old rustic tavern vibe in this place. I sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely friendly right off the bat. I ordered the Rosemary's Cocktail ($11) and the Landmark Burger ($18) with pepper jack. The cocktail was delicious; much stronger than I expected, but well balanced. While I waited for my burger, the bartender brought me some complimentary bread and butter. To my delight, it was fresh sourdough bread. Then the burger came. It was perfectly cooked with onion jam and horseradish aioli on the side, a homemade bun. I used the leftover sauce to dip my fries into. The only negative is, for as good as everything here is, the fries were a bit boring. All in all, easily the best meal I've had in Warwick and I'll definitely be back.

I came in for my birthday dinner, the restaurant was gorgeous. I ordered the risotto with a Sauvignon Blanc. The wine was lovely however the risotto could've been better. It was undercooked which made for a few undesirable crunchy bites. The service was great. I'd definitely recommend.

Don't know why I needed to make a reservation when the place wasn't even pretty empty on a Wednesday night. But we had a great waitress. We've never had a bad meal here. Loved my risotto! My husband got the chicken but left his doggie bag at the table. We were outside taking a selfie. I wish someone saw it and flagged us but oh well. Dessert was small for a slice of pie. Looks like it was made in a mini pie pan. I actually can make a better pie. It was the only thing disappointing from the whole night, I would never order that again. Lol

Beet salad!

Lobster Roll very greasy. Fish entree was fair. Plain rice with entree very boring. Hit & miss.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a nice, intimate bar with fantastic vibes. We opted for a couple of seats at the bar. The bartender was attentive and quick, getting our drink orders started right away. The Food * Pot Pie Duo (Appetizer): As a huge fan of pot pies, I have to say these were outstanding. It comes with two mini pies--one chicken and one corned beef--served over a bed of cheesy parsnip purée and black pepper gravy. The flavors were rich and unique. * The Disco Burger: This was cooked to perfection. It was served over a bed of gravy, which was an interesting and delicious twist on a classic burger. * Green Goddess Chicken Sandwich: My wife really enjoyed this one. She said the chicken was delicious and the flavors were very fresh. Between the great service at the bar and the high-quality comfort food, we had a perfect lunch. If you are in the Warwick area, this spot is a must-visit. We will definitely be coming back!

I think for the price, you get perfect sized portions and quality food! It may be hard to get a table some nights due to limited hours but its most definitely worth the wait. We rented an Airbnb nearby and wanted a fun Sunday brunch with a beautiful view, and this restaurant absolutely delivered. We made an 11 AM reservation and were glad we arrived before the crowds started rolling in. They offered both a featured brunch menu and an extensive drink menu with lots of options for the group. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. She even took a table photo for us and later noticed us struggling to take a group picture outside after brunch -- she actually came outside to take photos for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and really went above and beyond for such a special occasion. The atmosphere was also so welcoming. The locals were incredibly kind, and one woman even bought our table a bottle of champagne after hearing we were celebrating a bride-to-be. It made the whole experience feel extra memorable. As someone with a gluten allergy, I really appreciated that they offered gluten-free options, including gluten-free toast. I had the spinach and feta omelet with home fries, and everything was delicious. My sister is a huge Eggs Benedict fan and loved their version as well. The location right on Greenwood Lake is beautiful. They have dock space for people arriving by boat, plus outdoor seating that would be amazing on a nice summer day. There are also two parking lots on either side of the restaurant, which made parking easy for us, although I could see it filling up quickly during peak summer weekends. The prices were definitely on the higher end, but honestly, for a nice restaurant directly on the lake with great service and atmosphere, it felt worth it. I'm already looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area!

We have wanted to try The Grange for ages but weren't able to get a reservation. Well, tonight we…read moredecided to just walk in and see if we could get a table and happily we were able to! All I can say is Wow!!! Everything we had was incredible! Saturdays are pri-fixe only (other nights may be too) and the menu isn't huge but it was all amazing. You basically pick either a hot or cold starter or appetizer (some of the options are salads). Then you also pick an entree or main. Before they bring out your appetizer, they bring out a complimentary small starter - today it was a small radish salad and while I like radishes, my husband isn't normally a fan. Well, these may have changed his mind - and I think I LOVE radishes now!! It was incredible. For my appetizer, I chose the "famous Grange" egg rolls - and they are famous for a reason! They were easily the best egg rolls I've ever had. My husband had the Caesar salad and it was also delicious. We shared both easily - and had an egg roll to bring home for our son, too! For entrees we both selected the hanger steak - also incredible. Delicious and tender and both cooked perfectly - his rare and mine medium. Perfection. There were four dessert choices and each sounded fantastic as well - we decided on an apple crumb with homemade vanilla ice cream (me) and a flourless chocolate cake with the same incredible ice cream - and fresh made whipped cream! To wrap it all up, they brought us each 3 small bite sized treats (I will post a picture). They were also amazing...I realize I've used "amazing" and "incredible" multiple times already...I will need to use other adjectives when we go back but suffice it to say that we enjoyed everything we had. GREAT place! Oh! And really nice service too. This is a special place...not fancy but really great

Stonehouse - my forever favorite restaurant in Warwick!…read more The food, ambiance and vibes are simply unmatched. From the warm, quick and friendly service, the Owner Erik, the bartender Scott and his staff all do such an amazing job at what they do. & those chefs definitely know how to prepare a filling and perfectly seasoned dish that you will most definitely enjoy! This has always been the place to celebrate milestones and enjoy a romantic date night or a family dinner. I had my first date here, birthday dinners, celebration of life. Honestly, there weren't a lot of dinner options in the small town we stayed in, so with few to choose from, we decided to try this spot. After dining I would now say I would choose this spot over and over and hope to visit again! We ordered beef empanadas & calamari apps, ceviche & short rib for dinner. The food was 9.5/10 stars. My only complaint was that the calamari was slightly salty but it was still delicious. My fiance had a glass of California cab sauv (Bonanza) that the waitress recommended and it paired so beautifully w/ the short rib. *We will probably grab this bottle for dinner at home in the future - it just goes so well with a red meat dish. The whole bill - 2 apps, 2 dinners, 1 glass of wine - and a tip of over 20% - $185 - reasonable and worth every penny. The service was superb - Aggie was just so wonderful and made the experience 10/10. She is definitely an experienced server. She came to check on us appropriately, but didn't bother us too much, if that makes sense. She was very polite and attentive to us and our allergies. We got to speak for a few moments since we were some of the last people in the place, and she was honestly just kind. Annalise, the bartender, stopped by with the bottle when we asked to see the exact wine we ordered bc we loved it so much. She spoke with us about the wine for a bit and was also such a lovely, sweet touch to end a perfect evening celebrating. *note to the owner - please update your menu on your website. Our visit was 10/23. We always read the menu in advance to ensure there are options for us (both have dairy allergies). I was so bummed when I didn't see the puttanesca dish on your menu which was on your online menu because I was planning to order that. Luckily I was happy with the ceviche instead, but there weren't many other alternatives given our allergies and the fact that I don't really eat meat. If the ceviche wasn't on the menu I would've been deeply disappointed. - the allergies and preferences are totally a me problem, but accurate online to in person menus are essential for guests like me. :) In summary - the food was delicious and presented beautifully, paired perfectly with the recommended glass of cab, the whole vibe of the place is just so beautiful and quaint and the service just put the experience over the top. DEF recommend and hope to visit again in the future.
