First time visiting, and it definitely won't be my last! As a California native, I'm always on the lookout for Mexican restaurants that can deliver on both flavor and authenticity. This place hit the mark perfectly. I ordered the Chicken Mole Tacos, and they were outstanding. The mole sauce was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The tacos came with a side of rice and beans, both cooked to perfection. My boyfriend tried the Chicken Flautas, which were just as delicious. The salsa verde on top really brought all the flavors together in the best way. We also had Arnold Palmer drinks, which were refreshing and well-balanced. To top it all off, we shared their flan--easily one of the best I've had at any Mexican restaurant. This place is definitely a hidden gem, and I'll be coming back regularly! read more

I'm mixed feelings about this place. Start with the positives: very good customer service and the food is edible but not amazing. They seem to have good specials. And now to the negatives: Last time I ordered 4 street corn and the total came to $27!!!! $6 per cob of corn and some seasoning seems extra expensive to me for Pine Island. Probably cost them 75¢ each to make. I have left there before feeling like their prices are almost double what they should be. Place was empty on a Saturday at lunch. I definitely will not be going back. So many better Mexican restaurants around Middletown Warwick area that you won't leave feeling ripped off! read more

Reviewing for breakfast. The literal BEST Mexican breakfast we have had, and apart from being in Mexico, this is as close as you're going to get. I always get the Breakfast Tacos - chorizo, guacamole sauce, and queso fresco - it's got some heat, but the guacamole sauce cools it down and gives FANTASTIC flavor - 10/10. Hubby gets the Mexican Skillet most times and LOVES it. We also tend to split the Breakfast Chilaquiles, because it rivals some of the best we have had in Mexico. No joke. Love this little restaurant. It's always so clean and good music is always playing. The staff is very nice and attentive. I had the SOBO in a wrap and the pancake deluxe and both were delicious, if you get the wrap make sure and ask for the hot sauce, if gives it the perfect flavor! Overpriced for essentially less than mediocre quality food. Fries were dry and out of a bag so dry I thought they came from the Mojave desert. The gyro? Oh please. Chicken beef and lamb. Firstly, portion was minimal, with mostly pita bread and iceberg lettuce. This was an air pocket. Typical selection of sweetened beverages, like sickening sweet Snapple. So sweet I didn't finish it. This place should stick with serving its staples, which is Mexican style food. When eateries expand their menu, the quality often suffers. read more

Best random spot I've stopped at!! I was a little iffy about the prices compared to some other close options when I checked the menu online. But let me tell you I would willingly spend the money on this place any day. ANY DAY! My fiance and I are from NJ originally essex county ( semi close to newark airport) and since moving to sussex county (nj county right below pine island) there are very VERY few places that have food I would rate 5 stars. I'm white as white can be but it's like you cross into the sussex county border and seasoning goes out the window lol. Every single thing we had here today was SO GOOD!! My tamale wasn't Sahara desert dry, my pasta vodka and meatballs delicious, the salsa was not out of a jar, and the tacos were excellent as well. Surprisingly I can't find a single place that makes actually good french onion. The soup here was so on point I wished I had an extra stomach to have more haha. Our server was super nice. The food here is pretty good, just a little overpriced. I ordered tacos, which were alright. What turned me off to this place is that they charged me a dollar for a tiny thimble of salsa, and again for sour cream. Just include it, don't nickel and dime me. What ever happened to free chips and salsa for the table? Also, the ONLY hot sauce is really, really hot. It is good hot sauce, just too painful for me and no other options. We stopped in on our way home from Warwick NY. The menu is very diverse and expansive. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. We had Tamales for our appetizer and then a Pizza for our main course. Our waiter, Brian, was wonderful! He was very friendly and took care of everything we needed, when we needed it. My friends and I went to a local winery / apple picking in Warwick. We quickly found this place on yelp to grab a bite. Cute hole-in-the wall, great service and such tasty and inexpensive authentic Mexican food! It was the perfect Sunday dinner. We shared 2 appetizers, and 4 large entrees for 4 people, and it ended up being $24 per person total (including tip). Would love to come back here and see these nice people again. read more

My Dad and I go birding on Friday. Lunch is always an important part of the trip. After our walk in the Wallkill NWR, we drove into Pine Island. Dad advised that he knew a place that was great. That "great" place was a glorified sandwich counter with a employee who could not understand our order. So we left and I found Harvest up the road. Cute place. Friendly service. Dad ordered a tuna platter. I had an onion omelette, well done home fries and an english muffin. The food came out very quickly and was very tasty. A couple cups of coffee and we were on our way. I'm originally from southern California and have been searching for good Mexican food. Harvest is so great for so many reasons. The service is great, the people are friendly, the pizza is legitimately better than the pizza parlors in town (and they have way more than pizza) which leads me to point out that their menu is huge. I love their mexican food (authentic) and their personal pizza is a favorite of mine. A large pizza pie costs less than $13 (unheard of from where I grew up in north jersey) and it just has a cozy, hometown feel to it inside with a classic diner kind of vibe. I had Chicken enchiladas verde. The shell was as light as a feather. The white meat filling seasoned to perfection. I've eaten enchiladas in many places. These were the best! Mexican food is so- so, burgers are a joke, looks like one of those cheap packs of 8 frozen patties and is listed to come on a hard roll, it just came on a regular store bought burger roll. My other half got a grilled cheese but that too was really weak, and made with white American, yeah yeah its supposed to be "same thing" ,it's not. We went in here after a recommendation from a local. My husband and I went in to order dinner to go. We wanted to get an appetizer there and then dinner to go. We ordered a chorizo quesadilla to eat there with our two beers. No problem there. To go, we ordered their Penne Alla Vodka with Chicken and their Harvest Slam Burger. The Penne was okay. Just average. Something I could I have made myself at home. And probably would have been better. My husband's burger should have had Swiss cheese, bacon, mushrooms, and onions on it. When we arrived at home. It was just a burger with fries. Not even a cheese burger. Just a burger with lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. A side of fries included, but nothing too special. On top of it all, the burger was thin, not juicy, and bland. You could get a better burger at Wendy's. I'm frustrated we spent a total of $50 on our bland Sunday night dinner.
