We took our first tasting with us on a tour around and saw where some wines are made, stored barrels, lab, and outdoor event space. They have been doing a summer event on certain Fridays where you can purchase a glass or bottle to pair with Cafe Olli pizza and enjoy music by featured DJ. Highly recommend adding on the meat + cheese board to go with your tasting. It was fantastic and good size as we took some to go. There was not one wine we didn't like which is rare. I purchased 4 bottles and keep thinking about becoming a member. Loved the whole experience!

Anyway, I love that this tasting room is an easy walk from my place. Plus it's near all the food and other things I like when I take to the fire water and get to walking! There are bunches and bunches to sip from the Hue Hue coffee rum (dangerous because you can sip this stuff straight, the coffee flavor is that good) to even an eggnog flavored tipple, you will find something interesting to taste! The tasting experience was informative and fun! It wasn't pretentious, and it truly was laid back. You can decide how much you wanted to interact. "Friendly and knowledgeable" is the way I would describe our reception while learning about the bottles on display. J and J occupies a long, narrow space, with wines displayed on the left wall, a couple of small tables along the right wall, and a comfy looking mid-century modern lounge area at the back. They will be doing joint events with their Woodsman Tavern neighbors, combining wine tasting with food experiences, making their location seem particularly auspicious. So far, the guidance at J+J has led us to new (to us) labels that we have really enjoyed. Great place for exploration.
