The ladies at this store make LB shine. They have customer service all wrapped up in a perfect package. I recently had foot surgery and unable to navigate on my own two feet. I had the pleasure of working with Maddy on my last visit and she was beyond helpfull. Trying on clothes was a challenge to be sure and I am lucky to have a great husband. Maddy helped me find some pieces I needed. Tried them on and with all of the effort I was exhausted and glistening. At the counter she graciously turned the fan on me to cool me off and then retrieved a bottle of cold water. She helped in every way possible to assist me in this shopping expedition. I love this location. They are always super helpful. I have things shipped here for a few years now. There was a slight breakdown in communication regarding returns though. I purchased on my LB credit card, paid the balance, then ended up returning 2 items. The only offer was to either refund to the CC (zero balance) or get a gift card, specifically saying they cannot do cash. They told me to call customer service for a paper refund check. It didn't make sense because a zero balance means it's no longer "on credit". Their customer service team says otherwise though. Still love this location though. read more

I went to this store to return some shirts I had bought online. There were three staff at the counter and a lady in front of me checking out. I waited in line and one of the staff asked if they could help. I said I needed to do returns and their response was "that's the only register". Ok. I can't control that so I wait behind the woman. The transaction is taking a while and the cashier says to her "you're only $8 away from another coupon" so the woman goes back to shopping and I wait. Again. Finally they do what they have to to pause the transaction and help me with returns. I get to the counter and hand them my returns and the original receipt. The woman who originally told me that there was only one register open starts talking to the other woman behind the counter saying something about all of the shirts being on clearance. Then she says to the the other woman look for the marks on the shirt and tags. And she says you'll find them. They then tell me the shirts are on clearance for 98cents. That's great but I paid almost $100 for the three shirts... It actually takes to offend me but being treated like a criminal in lane Bryant seemed to do it. I also didn't have the card I bought the shirts with, because I assumed they wouldn't need it to refund them to the card I paid with. I was wrong and ended up with a gift card. There's a reason people don't go into stores anymore. Why would I go somewhere I am treated like a criminal. I know there are people who scam the system. I get it. But I'm not one of them. They could have handled the whole thing so much more professionally. If she had even come over and just started folding them and searing for the clearance signs and finding one before accusing me of trying to scam them I wouldn't have cared. But she didn't even give me the courtesy of that. Won't be back and I'll be passing the gift card to someone else. read more

Years ago I went to a LB and someone on staff told me I want allowed to feel stress about an outfit not looking the way I wanted it to because I carried my weight "well." I was 20 years old and heart broken, at the height of my eating disorder and I never set foot back into an LB Until yesterday. I saw a targeted add for LB bras. It's been nearly a decade, thought that I had been dramatic or emotional that day and thought I would give the brand another try. I ordered two bras and went in store to pick them up. If I was leaving a review for just yesterday it would be five stars. Two different ladies were running the store and they were super inviting. I saw a shirt I wanted, but there was an outfit sale and I was in my lunch break so I was low on time. I also wanted to make sure the bras I purchased would fit well for my shape. I said I would come back tomorrow when I had more time to look. I wish I would have just bought the shirt and not wasted my time today. Today I walked in and no one greeted me. I grabbed the shirt I knew I wanted and started walking around looking for a bra. Now, I'm a 50G which I understand is pretty hard to find. I'm clearly trying to find something but I don't want to make a mess an no one reaches out to me to ask for help. But they looked busy so I did t want to bother them. Eventually I ask if I could find my size in a sports bra. I'm going to Disney in a few months and I want something comfortable, but cute. They lady at the front basically acts like LB doesn't even carry that size. But mind y'all I'm WEARING a LB bra in that size when I walk in. I walk away, a little dejected, to look at the underwire bras when she calls me back to say they do have one online in my size! But upon further inspection it's not actually in my size. That's not her fault though. I will say that LB online bra search function is the worst because it will let you filter bras in a band size and then a cup size, but don't let you look for those separate pieces together. So I ask if I can just use the 50% coupon you get when you pick up an item in store on the shirt and call it a day. The lady helping me didn't know so she asked her co worker who started answering my question, already defensive that OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't be able to use that coupon ( I had no idea. I was just asking if it was worth buying the shirt there or doing it on line where there are more promotions) but answers the phone in the middle of answering the question. I'm trying to ask if anything is excluded from the promotion, just trying to get clarity because I want to know what I'm getting into and what I can look at to make the deal work - otherwise it didn't make sense for me to get what I didn't need and just get the shirt. No one knows and it's like asking a question is asking them to give up their first born. I ultimately walked out without anything because no one could help me, no one knew the answer to anything, and I left crying. LB is a store for the plus size. I'm solidly in the middle of their size runs and even here I can't find bras that fit. I just wanted a shirt and a bra that fit and I left wishing I had never stepped back foot in the store in the first place. read more

These women are so rude. I was repeatedly asked if "that was all I was getting"(a pair of earrings). The girl literally rolled her eyes at me when I said yes. Are you serious? It's none of your business anyway! Don't worry, I won't be back, not even for "just a pair of earrings". I should've just left and not bought anything. Of all the locations I have shopped at this is my favorite! The two ladies that helped me on Saturday morning 10/2/21 are the best they have! I had one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had because of Colleen at this Lane Bryant in McKinney! She was so helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. From the moment I walked in the store she started helping me by asking what I like and don't like and suggesting some things I wouldve never chosen but I ended up loving them. I live about 30 minutes from this location and generally drive to this location because I find the staff and manager to be particularly wonderful. They take the time to get to know their clients and often make helpful suggestions regarding styles and sizes. The manager is outstanding and clearly sets the tone for her store and staff. read more

I started coming here because the one near my house closed. I went to pick up my online package and they couldn't find it. When I showed the girl on my phone that it had been delivered 2 days ago she said well sometimes it takes 3 days! Really! When the website says delivered and the ups website said it was delivered and signed by someone at the store! The girl working behind the counter didn't know what to do. I asked if I would get a refund if they could not find it and she said I don't think so, but there is a number you can call. Finally another lady went to the back and she found a whole shipment from two days ago that had not been checked in. She gave me my package and never apologized. From the few times I have been there the store is empty. The only business they get is from people picking up online orders so they should probably pay attention to that and a little customer service training would not hurt either. read more

Have been a Lane Bryant Card carrying customer for years went to take purchases I bought on Saturday back with a special coupon Lori is the rudest employee I have EVER encountered in this or any location. Did not greet me upon entering the store, did not look up to greet me when I reached the register, did not speak or look up while I stood there for 5 minutes. Then said not asked what can I do for you. I told her, I wanted to see if I had any additional savings from my purchases because I left my coupon on Saturday. Without looking at the coupon or the merchandise she told me coupons wont work on anything I purchased I told her I'd still like to try. NO LINE , 1 other customer in the store. Another cashier walks over and asks how she can help she proceeds to Say "She bought all this stuff now she wants to return it to see if she can use a coupon that won't work". The second cashier then proceeds to tell me coupons don't work on Cacique. By then had enough so I returned all $336.50 worth of clothing because I can spend my green money anywhere I like!!
