Was there recently to buy dress for special occasion. The workers are beyond amazing. I have been to other locations and I usually get ignored. Here I received such great service! The store is super clean, their displays are great, everything very organized. The dressing rooms were ample, and very comfortable. Sure, this store is a little pricey, but the stuff you get is great. All their clothing is quality, the jewelry is great (if you are a big girl, the bracelets are especially the best, made just the right size for the "bigger" wrist) I think I just found my new favorite clothing store. read more

I finally made it to this location ever since they closed the one in the mall. If you are plus size or just "busty" that other store does not carry, this is the store for you. I've purchased bras here before and found good deal today. The ladies are nice and helpful. If you're unsure of your measurements, they can definitely help you with that as well. THIS IS THE WORST LANE BRYANT EVER! The sales associates are rude and when they are not being rude, you can''t find one! It often has a gross, spoiled mop, smell....it's not even decorated as nicely as the other stores. As expensive as Lane Bryant is you would think they would better train their sales people. This site rarely has good sales and when it does..the pickings are slim. I would suggest the Norridge store further down on Harlem Ave...Happy, friendly, sales people that make it a lot easier to drop $49 on a bra! read more

If I could sum up my experience at this store; I would have to say HORRIBLE customer service! I shop at this Lane Bryant all the time and had recently purchased a dress from another store and needed to exchange for another size. About a week later, I changed my mind about the dress altogether and brought it back to to this store (where I got it from) to return it. This is where all my problems started. Even though I had my original receipt, it was partially worn off so the only part you could see was the top portion and the bottom portion. It just so happened that the sku for the dress I wanted to return was in the middle section where the receipt had faded.The Sales Associate/Manager (Rochelle King) very rudely told me that she wasn't going to return the dress because she couldn't see the sku and quite frankly treated me like it was somehow my fault that the receipt was faded. Now, I have been in Retail both in sales and management previously and I KNOW that there is a way to look up transactions particularly if an item was purchased from the same store. Rochelle did not even try to provide any solutions to solve a simple problem or offer any suggestions as to how I could get my dress returned. Mind you the dress was in the same condition that I had purchased it in and had all the tags attached. Also, you could clearly see the date of purchase on my receipt (which was only 1 week prior to this incident). Her attitude was not how you would expect to be treated as a loyal customer who spends a lot of time and money patronizing a business for years. She was rude, unapologetic and extremely unhelpful. I had to contact the corporate number and have this issue escalated to a Regional Manager who I am still waiting to hear back from. Hopefully, this issue will get resolved soon or I will have to make a complaint with the Attorney General, and whenever I have had to do that the outcome has always been favorable. Although, again this is a very simple issue that could have easily been resolved at the store level and the time that I have had to put into this so far is unnecessary and completely unacceptable. I highly recommend taking your business to the Lane Bryant in Hodgkins which is not too far away from this store or possibly the one on the Oak Brook Mall. The store Managers and associates at both have always treated their loyal customers with respect and have always been very helpful. read more

MISTREATMENT OF THE BLIND.. On June 19,2014 my sister visited your store at 2316 Harlem Ave, Riverside, IL. Although SHE is completely blind she values her independence. She often goes shopping alone and Lane Bryant has been her favorite store for years even before she lost her sight. I think she loves your stores because she can remember the lay out, quality and fashion. When she visited your store she did what she usually does, she asked the Sales person to help her pick out a few things. The sales person started working with her then said she needed to help out at the register. She told my sister to stand where she was and she would return shortly. Sherlette stood in placed for over 20 minutes and the sales person never returned or sent anyone else to help. My sister finally got the hint and left the store. I do not find it odd that the sales person would need to help at the register however, why would she leave a blind person who had asked for her help just standing in the middle of a store for that length of time. It was demoralizing. It was between 1:30pm- 2:30pm. How busy could your store have been at that time of day on a Thursday? Clearly the Sales person just did not want to take the time needed to help her thereby discriminating against her because she is blind. Mistreating her because she could. She has spent thousands of dollars at your stores over the years and in fact I have rarely been with her at Lane Bryant when she has spent less than 200.00 dollars. But that is not the point. I am appalled that your organization would employ someone that would treat another human being this way. Not only will I never shop at your store again , I will share this experience with everyone that will listen. read more
