Service: It's hot as hell today, and when I walked in I took an item, I was really looking for work clothes... immediately a young lady asked me if I needed a dressing room and I said sure, and she asked if I'm looking for anything, and I usually say no and get annoyed, but this time I decided in my mind to just see what she had in mind because I usually buy black and I was looking for fun items. She found me a dressing room and when I went back she found a couple more items for me and my size in something that wasn't on the main floor. And while I only bought this leather jacket, I loved a lot of the interesting clothes and the color of things. Value: I think this is why I took it down a star. It's a bit much. At the same time it is a bit better quality with some items so I can understand, but it's still expensive. I decided to limit myself to about $100. Which is 1 item. Checking out: It was pretty quick. I love coming to this Anthropologie location because it's close to home and since it's in the Westfield shopping center, I get free parking. I stop in on occasion and make a bee line to the sales rack where I find great deals (deeply discounted around 50-70% off) on current season, eye catching styles. Rarely do I find myself buying clothes and accessories at full price because the price point is simply out of my range. I think it's ridiculous to pay $200.00 on a blouse when I could wait a few months more and pay a fraction of that onsite in the sales racks or online. I don't recall having any issues with my shopping experiences and staff is always at the ready to help if I have questions. When I buy online to pick up in store they have my order for me at checkout. Regardless, it's a nice store. If you're on the occasional splurge and seek uniquely beautiful clothes and home décor Anthropologie is worth the look. read more

While I love Anthropologie I will not come back to this location due to one staff member. This review is solely based on one staff member as I have frequented this location and never had issues until today. I was treated as if I was not to be shopping there. The pleasantries that were afforded to other shoppers immediately stopped when she had to work with me. She stood at the end and another staff member had to direct her to come assist me at the register. This staff member then proceeds to go back to speak with and smile at another customer while looking at me as if she's just sucked on lemons. The icing on the cake was she placed her hand down and basically threw my receipt on the counter. Hopefully this store can get some training on customer service and how to engage and make rapport with all customers and it just the ones that favor you in appearance. read more

This Anthropologie store is near L.L. Bean and has it's usual offerings of clothing, shoes, furniture, makeup, accessories, and home decor items. The Sales racks are located towards the back, near the dressing stations, and you can find some decent tops and jackets. I am a huge fan of their Capri Blue line, especially of their Volcano scent! Their hand cream is luxurious, and made with coconut oil and shea butter and smells absolutely divine! Cute little tube that is super convenient to carry around and leaves your hands smelling amazing and super soft! Wait for their holiday sales, as some of their items are worth getting - my sister purchased their Colossal Capri Blue Mercury Glass Candle, and it's worthy every penny! This Anthropologie feels a bit on the small side, but it was still nice to browse here nonetheless. These stores have a tendency to shove their sale merchandise in an oddly shaped, cramped room and this one is no exception. I did find some good deals here though: an Au Revoir sweatshirt and a cowl neck tunic. My total was about $45 which is not bad for Anthropologie. They sometimes have storewide sales (this time it was 20% off). Their merchandise is very delicate and floral, and bohemian. I really like their housewares as well. They have good candles and small trinkets. I am not a regular Anthropologie shopper (the prices are usually too outrageous for me) but I don't mind stopping by to admire the pieces! read more

Say what? There's an Anthropologie at Old Orchard now?! Discovered it on my way to Lucy today. There's something that's calming about shopping here. Maybe it's the smell of candles or the incense. Maybe it's the vintage inspired clothing. It's definitely not the prices though. Trendy dresses, sweaters, tops - you name it - will run you a hefty buck. Love the dressing rooms. Each one has a floor to ceiling mirror, stool, coat hooks, and a closet inset to hang your potential threads. It seriously looks as if it could function as a mini living area. You'll also find home furnishings here for your kitchen, living room, or bedroom. It's kind of like an earthy, sophisticated Urban Outfitters. read more

She helped me style for petite clothing without simply telling me to order online petite sizes which I absolutely hate being told to do when going shopping at anthropologie. Located on the LL Bean and Crate and Barrel side of the mall, I missed this the first time around. We came here on Black Friday and it wasn't crazy busy. The sale section is a little small, but I found a lot of great goodies. They had some good sales and good inventory on home goods. I will come here again and see what great finds they have in the sale section. read more

The dirtiest and laziest anthro I have ever been to. Walked into the dressing room and just felt gross immediately. I let the woman zoned in fitting room know how gross it was and asked for a new room. She gave me a new one. That one too was covered in dust. I asked for a swiffer sheet or dusting pad. The woman looked confused and said she needed to go speak to someone or something. I am not sure. In the mean time I took a paper towel and tried to collect as much dust as possible. After this situation three woman came out (and just to clarify not to help me or any other customers since I was the only one in fitting room at this time) and sat back in the fitting room talking about their break schedules. I tried a few things on but just felt so gross. I am ordering everything I liked online instead. On top of all of this I was with my mom and she had tried on a coat that had a yellow tag on it for half off and it was hanging in the rack with the half off sign. My mom was really excited to find a fun coat for a good deal. They were holding it for her in the fitting room while I was still shopping. She went back to grab the jacket and the woman back there had removed the sticker full well knowing my mom was going to purchase that item - trying to make her pay more money!!!! Super shady!!!! Instead of having three people back in fitting room talk about their break schedule and remove stickers off of items people already have set aside to purchase maybe you should spend time cleaning!!! Every employee at this location is exceptionally friendly- I was mulling over the purchase of a Rivulets quilt and both employees whom assisted me provided great customer service whilst not pressuring me to make the $400 purchase then+there. They also have the tidiest Sale Room I've seen at ANY Anthropologie- if you've ever seen the Sale Room at SF Market St., NYC Union Square or even the Short North, OH stores, you know how messy and unkempt the sale section usually is. It was actually fun to look through the Sale section as it was cohesive , like just another part of the store rather than THE SALE ROOM. Maybe too focused on this aspect, but it's quite good. Definitely better than the Highland Park location. read more

I love Anthropologie. No trip to Old Orchard is complete without spending a significant amount of time browsing there. The pieces are pricey but of awesome quality. I find myself coming back to them again and again so I don't mind the cost as much. That being said, today I had a less than pleasant customer service experience. A sales associate started a conversation with my husband. He can be a little goofy but all in good fun. As I was coming out of the sale section with my arms full (it was an extra 25% off!!) the sales associate looked at us and said "you'd better hurry up and get in there" (meaning the fitting room) "we close in ten minutes". I thought the store closed at 9 but she curtly informed me the winter hours were until 8 only and then how she wanted to hurry up and get out of work. I hate feeling rushed while trying things on so I put all the stuff I spent time picking out down and we left. Only after we walked out we realized it was only about to be 7pm!!! I walked back into the store and let her know that she misinformed us, to which she was not very apologetic. The only response I got was "oops, my watch was wrong". I went to try on the items I had picked out but the usual "magical" anthropologie experience I have was ruined because of the lack of professionalism on the part of the sales associate. I walked out and have not wanted to come back since the incident because of the bad taste it left. I work in a busy medical office where we frequently stay as much as an hour past closing time in order to accommodate patients and don't dare so much as to shut off the music before they all leave. I have never been asked to "hurry up" in a store or been pressured to leave because the employees were anxious to go home. I have spent a lot of money at Anthro and frankly, I don't care to hear that someone wants to go home because they are there to do their job. I have walked into a Target 10 minutes before closing and have never been treated so disrespectfully. Perhaps I am better off leaving my money there. read more

The only store I really look forward to and get so excited about whenever I pass by to this mall. Starting with the beautiful and creative crafts on their windows all the way through their sales floor, it is so inviting and the whole store is just so Instagram worthy. The pieces from regular price to sale price are so dreamy and worth it. I don't mind splurging myself in this store from time to time. Outline of the store was easy to navigate. They used to have shoes in this location available but now they don't. Another thing is that I wish they have kids stuff as I have a son and buy him toys and whatnot. Dressing room is always perfectly clean and have curated pieces that well worth to check out before going in. Associates are nice and looked all so good dressed up in their Anthro clothes. I have never had a problem from this location and will continue to drop by every single chance I get. read more

I think that this chain was built with KATGIRL in Mind! It has this whole Modern Vintage Vibe that SCREAMS Me! I do go to many of the Anthropologies but I have to say that this location includes the Extreme Hospitable Staff. About 5 ladies helped me and all were extremely nice the entire time I was there even though they were all extremely busy. I'm near the new downtown location but I'm glad that I went to this one over the weekend. The prices well... umm.. One could wait for a sale. It's not a small one of a kind boutique but I have yet to see many women with their clothes on when I'm hanging out. read more

I love this store HOWEVER... I'm super frustrated today. I'm not sure whether it's Yelp's fault or Anthro's fault, but the store hours are incorrect. It says they are open until 8:00 on Thursday and 7:00 on Friday. So I have driven a half hour (each way) for the past 2 nights to find the store closed a few minutes after 6:00. Also frustrating is that when you call the store for their hours, the recording tells you to check the website which is wrong. Please make the necessary corrections. This is poor customer service. Because I love the store, I will be back, but I'm not happy about the inconvenience and wasted time of the past two evenings. read more

I had a terrible experience with Emily supervisor on my call to Anthropologie to talk about the Old Orchard cashier mistake on a date I ordered online from the store. Anthropologie is my favorite store!!! I would never imagine I write a complaint for the lack of customer service. I ordered 3 items online from the store and used my birthday coupon for the first time!!!!! When I came home I realized that one item was on sale online and the person who ringed me scanned the original price. I called customer service to adjust the price for me and they refused to give me the birthday coupon on that item!!! I just can't believe that from this store. . They should teach their employees to respect their loyal customers. This is NOT acceptable from Anthropologie!!! read more
