My Wife highly recommended this practice after her visits. I found that not only did Dr. Natalia Selvanovskiy did a great job with my broken tooth, cleaning up a cavity and proceeding with a filling, but also kept me informed all the way through the process. She thoroughly explained what she was doing and was very transparent about the whole process, her practical recommendations for future maintenance and treatment if necessary. They did not push for the more expensive treatment as many other dentists would likely do, which I really appreciated, as I feel that any practice that does excellent work, does not need to push anything expensive on their patients. I found them very knowledgeable, articulate, and thorough every step of the way. I truly believe that for any problem a person may have, you need to be involved in what's going on and all options going forward. I really liked the fact that they put all of my scans directly in front of me on their screen. They showed me everything in great detail - it was a completely new experience for me. They were not rushed at all like many dentists I've had previously, trying to get through as many patients as possible. I truly had the sense of someone taking great care of my issues, with a very empathetic attitude. They ensured I was not uncomfortable with any part of the process. The ceiling screen was a very nice touch as well. I had no worries at all, and they seemed to intuitively knew when perhaps I needed to swallow or have some water sucked from the area. I could tell Dr. Natalia was very gentle, yet also very thorough. The right balance for a positive dental experience. The gentleman who assisted was also very pleasant. I think they make an exceptional team, and I would highly recommend them to anyone afraid of dentists or looking for a truly comfortable experience. They were absolutely worth the drive to Langdon considering my experience.

I always enjoy talking to Melody, the receptionist, whenever I go in. Heather, my hygenist, is personable but knows it's difficult to talk when you've got a polisher and suction thing in your mouth. Her scare tactics got me flossing something fierce! Finally, Dr. Alston is a dentist with some people skills. After years of dreading going to the dentist (or just not going altogether), I enjoy going now. I love the feeling of leaving with a clean mouth!

Very professional, listens and has always the best solution or provide you with the best treatment option. That's right, I'm going to review my dentist…read more First, some background: I like beer. I especially like beer out of a bottle. This past Saturday I was enjoying said beverage when I banged my false front tooth on the bottle and knocked it out (classy, I know). This is not the first time this has happened. For those of you who know me, this particular tooth was bonded with a fake at the budding age of 6 when a friends' little brother threw a step ladder at me, and, in 1999; in a coffee cup incident; it was knocked loose and rebonded again. I have been going to Harker Chan and Associates for about three years and I called Dr. Harker about correcting my sudden hillbilliness Sunday morning. He graciously answered even though I called a personal number and offered to come in early the next day to get me fixed. I was in and out of his office in a half hour. To say that this man is anything short of a perfectionist would be an understatement. He is quick, professional and knows his work. His portfolio of veneered teeth is impressive; I have seen few veneers that look so natural. Now I can't review the entire practice without also talking about Dr. Chan (Dr. Chan is my regular doctor there, who rocks ps, but Dr. Harker has worked on my false tooth before and is the cosmetic surgeon, hence my call to him). Dr. Chan is prompt, lively and professional. When I was slated to have my wisdom teeth removed; without sedation, Dr. Chan had me back at work in less than a day. This guy knows his dental surgery. These men have ground, filled, bonded, poked and prodded my teeth for three years and I'm always relaxed in their chair. Their staff is friendly, smart and all have a very gentile touch. I recommend either doctor to anyone looking for a new dentist. T.

I recently broke a tooth so needed to get a crown to repair it…read more I needed to wait a bit for my insurance estimate to be approved but I went ahead and booked an appointment with Hometown Dental for a few weeks down the road, and it was perfect timing. The approval came through just a few days prior to my appointment.The office Staff of Beverly, Jericho and Lorraine were very prompt on sending away the X-rays and paperwork to the insurance company quickly. (It needed to go by snail mail as per the insurance companies request). The actual crown was done in one two hour appointment repair which included the time it took to prep the original tooth base, scanning for the crown, production of the crown and placement in my mouth. During the time that they weren't working in my mouth, I was able to relax and watch some excellent television choices. Dr. Brandon Hiang and his assistant Christine were absolutely amazing. I was so comfortable with them both. Their joyful personalities and our "one way" conversations ;) were very enjoyable. They provided the topics and I listened. There was no pain or discomfort and the new tooth felt amazing immediately after a slight touchup while I was still there. I have not to return for any reason or issues. A definite plus in my mind. I could not have asked for a better outcome and strongly recommend any of the dentists in the Hometown Office. In the past I had usually seen Dr Jamison, but as she was booked up, her recommendation to have the work done by Dr Brandon Hiang was very much appreciated.
