I was referred to Dr. Lanier's office by my workers' compensation insurance, as he is listed as a contracted provider in their network. An initial consultation was scheduled by the insurance, but when I arrived for the appointment, I was told it had been canceled. Dr. Lanier himself came out and claimed they had contacted me to cancel--but I never received any such call. The only message I ever received from his office was that they do not bill workers' comp insurance and would require full payment in cash. Dr. Lanier also informed me that he only accepts patients involved in auto accidents who are represented by an attorney. I left feeling very disappointed. It's unfortunate and disheartening to encounter a healthcare provider who refuses to treat injured patients unless they have legal representation. I expected professionalism and care--instead, I was turned away. What a disappointing experience. read more

Absolutely do not recommend. I went in pregnant, clearly told him I was having pelvic pain, and he completely ignored it. He never asked about my lifestyle, what I do for work, or anything that might actually help him understand what's going on with my body. No care, no explanation, and barely touched me during the so-called "adjustment." When I asked questions, he brushed them off--and even laughed. It was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and honestly felt like a waste of time and money. I left feeling worse, not better. If you value your health (especially if you're pregnant), stay far away. Well it's almost been 11 months, and I do have to admit, this is the only thing that is helping me consistently. This is the first chiropractor I've ever gone to my entire life. I'm 70 years old and believe in holistic medicine, and I've been to a lot of chiropractors in my life. Dr. Lenier was one of the worst. Besides the fact that he had no personality nor smile, or a friendly face the equipment he had was horrible. I've been on beautiful, relaxing, wave tables before but his felt like a bicycle wheel made of metal going up and down my back that I had to do a bridge pose so that it wouldn't hurt me. Awful. And then as he was doing his adjustment, or whatever he actually dug into my neck and hurt me it was painful. I would not recommend him even though it was complementary through my insurance company. I have been a patient of Dr. Lanier's since April 2021. My back was in extremely bad shape and I also suffered from sciatica. My weekly adjustments were a welcomed relief and the back strengthening exercises I was given to work on at home helped me immensely. I first started coming to Dr. Lanier about 6 weeks ago for neck pain and a big disc extrusion in my lower back. I didn't have a great experience with a previous chiropractor and it didn't improve my symptoms that much. Prior to my first session my hips, back, neck and shoulder all felt out of wack, tense and torn in the case of my left shoulder. I have an active job where I carry a considerable amount of equipment on my body throughout the day.
