What a lovely place to pamper your space! Lanikai Bath and Body isn't what I expected as yes it's filled with products with all the favorite local scent...lotion, soaps and candles are the usual items but what makes them special are other items I have yet to see anywhere else. Mini Desktop Diffusers this adorable little cube holds various scent "Mango Coconut" is what attracted me and including the diffuser it's just a couple of inches so you're not stuck with a huge jar but a cute demure decor that will simply refresh your space, they also have a car diffusers for those that prefers it. Cute resin soap dish, and bath salts (including travel sized salt totes) almost piqued my interest more for my upcoming travels...making it into a spa retreat I then noticed a bag of CBD infused epsom salt with three different essential oils and I chose lemongrass (Peppermint & Eucalyptus also available) hoping this will be a great option to treat some aches and pains while detoxing as well. Everything smells wonderful not in an overwhelming way depending on the scent of your choice, they do have some promotions going on and a reward program (Heavenly Rewards Ohana) as well so self care will definitely take care of you in no time. Thank you!

    Reasonable shipping for online orders

An absolute must-see in windward Oahu! There's interesting and unique shopping nearby as well as easy, free parking. They've got everything under the sun from car scent diffusers to handmade soaps. When I went in person, the young man at the counter was helpful in answering my questions and gave me a free Pikake (tuberose) soap sample which was sizable. I love that all their products smell pretty strongly, yet are both natural and very affordable. Highlights for me were the reed oil diffusers (huge 8 oz size for only ~$28) and beautifully packaged hand sanitizer sprays (Touchland power mist dupes). I purchased a Pikake oil diffuser for my mom as a gift and after seeing how efficiently it emits scent, I had to go online and order my own! The smell of their products really linger in the air or on the skin, which is ideal to me. Best of all, they ship to the mainland at a fair price, and they even gave me another soap sample for my 1-item online order! I can't wait to try more products from them. Pros: - Local, family-owned business - Extremely wide variety of products, even more than Bath & Body Works - Most products have a strong, lingering smell - Products are handmade/natural - Free soap sample with store & online orders - Online orders are at a reasonable shipping price (~$6 for my item to CA) & ship extremely fast (less than 3 business days) - As of Jan 31st, 2023, the code "Aloha" will save about $6 on online orders, making shipping basically free for small, under $25 orders. Cons: - If they had free shipping with a lower order minimum (rather than $150+), I'd be even happier! - The car scent/oil diffuser doesn't seem too potent, I can't really smell it at all and wish it were stronger

The Beach scent is absolutely amazing.

Absolutely excellent service via mail order. I shopped online on Friday and my order arrived on Monday the following week. Wow super fast shipping. I do live in Ewa Beach so shipping out of Oahu of corse will vary. I am in love with the Beach scent. Hand sanitizer, body lotion and spray, and bath soap. Love love love the smell. I found out about LBB when I was shopping at Mahuhealii in town. Once I used the hand sanitizer they have on display I was sold. The worker told me about LBB and after shopping I literally ran to my car to google them. I immediately placed an online order. After my order was placed I was kept well informed about shipping updates through the Shop app. The following Monday i received my order and WOW the little touches from the staff are what matters. So much blessings and welcoming in my online order. Attached are the items I purchased and the staffs hand written notes. I am hooked and will be a shopper for life. Thank you, Faith for packing my order so neatly. You made my first online shopping experience so memorable. I am also an elite member on Google and I will be sure to copy this review on Google too. God bless you all.

LOVEEEE it here. It smells so good! Eve was so friendly and nice! I came to buy a Mother's Day gift for a friend and she packed it very nicely and even gave me a tag to write a note. She tied it to the bag with a cute little ribbon and added some tissue paper. Her kindness def makes me want to come back.

    Mango-coconut body soap bar

I looove browsing bath and body type of shops, and Lanikai Bath & Body is one of them! The shop is very well lite with lots of natural sunlight coming in. I love most of their scents...they make great floral and tropical scents. I like the natural made soap bars--they all smell amazingly good! There are also lots of lotions, hand creams, body creams, sprays and bath salts and scrubs. The soap bars are around $6 and some change, but I noticed thats around average price per organic soap bars on the island. They are also good sized bars, too. It would be awesome if they could put a label of ingredients on their body soap bars though. Everything else seems like its a few dollars more than it should be, but I guess thats the price you pay for natural products. The only thing I want to mention is that back in the early fall months, I looked at the ingredients of one product, and it listed a paraben as an ingredient. I cant remember if this was a LB&B product or from another company, but I havent seen any products in a while with that ingredient listed in it. They have lots of candles, my favorite being the colored candles in the bamboo/coconut type of shell. There's also other random things like scrubbers, re-usable shopper bags and water bottles. Definitely check out this shop if you're in Kailua and like naturally and locally made body products. If you love your skin, then you'll love treating it to some tlc with their chemical-free stuff! ps. The workers are nice here! And they don't nag you, so you can browse in peace!

The making of a perfect gift.

Everyone who works at the store is just as kind, helpful, and thoughtful as Lori. The positive, friendly & fun culture of this store is unmatched. They've downsized their refill options in the last year to make way for the thrift side of their store, but they still have all the household & personal care essentials we need. Lori does such an awesome job with vetting everything she carries in the store. Basically, if it's in the store, it's because she loves it & it works! We come to Protea at least 2 times a month to refill our household & personal items. We live about 20 minutes away, so we make it worthwhile by grabbing a coffee and a meal from a local shop nearby. I'd highly recommend you check out this lovely shop! Also, make sure to follow them on Instagram @proteazerowaste to find out about sales, events, & more! *Since another review brought it up I wanted to say that they will sometimes post on their IG stories & feed that they have to close early or close for a day when they're normally open (VERY infrequent) because, just like all small, local businesses, that has a small team (I think there are 4 of them total), sometimes things come up and they aren't able to staff the store. I think it's important to give our small local businesses some grace if they're closed when they've supposed to be open. Even though it's frustrating, I don't think it's worth writing a 1 star review without having experienced the store & without knowing why they were closed. Let's practice giving benefit of the doubt & showing some aloha.

After using Target's very clean restroom, I thought I'd walk around & check out the Kailua Store. Making a small observation.......... ever noticed that Target's store layout is pretty similar to the other Target stores in da 808??? I guess this is kinda neat, as it makes it easier to find things in the store. I noticed that the Kailua Target store also had a Starbucks coffee shop, & a Pizza Hut within the store. I really didn't have anything to buy today, but while browsing around, I came across some DEALAGES on a microwave oven. DARN! I just bought a new microwave oven for my dad, as his microwave had broke down recently. Guess where I bought my microwave??? Yes gangies..........Walmart! And ya know what???? Target actually had a better sale price on the microwave, as the microwave I bought on sale at Walmart was ($60.73 w/tax). I guess Walmart doesn't always have da best DEALAGES! Lol! The Kailua Target store is very spacious & clean. A very nice store to visit, should you need groceries, or any other item.

They're not pushy, and if you ask, they have samples of lipstick and moisturizer. I love their little travel size lip glosses and mascara under $12, and they last awhile.
