This place is located in Wahiawa. It's by Schofield barracks. Parking sucks but it's worth the parking. This is a chain located in California and i am surprised they made their way here. The acai here is way better than California. I was surprised. I got the layers of paradise with mango cream and boy, that hit the spot. The acai mix with mango, honey, and granola hit so good on a hot day. The acai is ice cream texture. The ones in California is liquid and melts too fast. I give this acai a 5/5. You can't leave unless you get the cheese bread. It's so hot and cheesy and it was amazing. Overall it's not much to say but 4.7/5. The service is pretty fast for only 2 people and they're super friendly. It's a grab and go type ambiance and overall I recommend this place. read more

I have been craving an acai bowl for weeks and decided that was going to be my lunch today. This place is located near my work. They are right outside Schofield Barracks on the back side near Kemo'o Farms Pub and Grill. This was my first time but their menu and pictures made it easy to decide what I wanted. If you're paying by cash you pay at the window. Otherwise there is a tablet for you to place your order and pay. I went with the Aloha Bowl because it had all the fruits I like in it. The bowl also included honey and I had the option of no honey, honey or agave. I just got the large bowl for $16.90. They do offer two sizes and I was very happy to see the calorie information on the menu. It was ready in about 5 minutes. There are tables there with a nice view of Wilson Lake but I took mine to go. When I returned to my office I dug in. Everything was perfect! Bananas, strawberries and blueberries were all nice and ripe. I did appreciate the amount if banana. The acai was nice and cold and had the right amount of sweetness. I ate it all and really enjoyed it. I deducted a star only for the price. It's definitely higher than other places I've seen but I will definitely return again, just maybe not too often. read more

Stopped by this spot in Wahiawa near Schofield Army Base and it did not disappoint. Parking is street parking, but it wasn't too bad when we went. There's limited seating by the water, which was actually available at the time, though we noticed a lot of people were doing takeout. The açaí base was so good and honestly one of the top ones we've tried on island. Super smooth, not icy, and really flavorful. The avocado purée was a personal favorite. I grew up eating avocado as a dessert, so that part really hit home for me and made this bowl extra special. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. The avocado cream . I've always drove past this place heading out to NS but decided to try here since I hit up another spot I've been eyeing out. But anyways, this little shop is a true hidden gem. The lady helping us was the kindest person. Even though it was short staffed she was extremely kind and empathetic to each and every customer waiting. Their payment system is self ordering and she fulfills the orders behind the kitchen. I ordered the Layered Avocado cream with banana, bee pollen and coconut shreds. The açaí was nice and tart with the hint of sweet but once I got to that avocado cream... Omg!!!! So creamy and a nice avocado flavor. I asked if they sold JUST the avocado cream but she said they don't. . The view was an added plus. Downstairs bar seating with the sunny view of lake Wilson. Came in today and I got the large açaí bowl with almost butter topping ( extra charge ) and extra granola ( extra charge ) . Acai itself was pretty good and the view was nice. I do have a few ehhhs about my experience though. No one greeted when we arrived . Person inside who makes the available saw us ordering on the machine but not even a hi or welcome ! Even the other service who brought down açaí bowls for the customers downstairs didn't even say hi .. okay cool that's fine . I ordered extra granola which didn't look like nothing was in the açaí bowl , I love granola like I need it lol . That's why I ordered extra ..... couldn't believe how much granola ( that comes with my order ) and my extra order I placed on the side was put in my açaí bowl .... So in the picture I ordered another group of extra granola which is in the container .... $1.60 + tax's for this small portion cup .. kind of sad but I needed my granola with my açaí.. Parking was pretty full out front so we parked further down in the parking lot that says for pick up only and walked. My husband got the large aloha bowl. Which was the basic açaí bowl with bananas and strawberries and granola. He said it was delicious. I got the layers of paradise with lilikoi cream. This was absolutely delicious the creaminess went so well together. I did wish it was in a bowl not a cup so I could eat both together. But overall delicious. He threw in a Coxinha w/ creamcheese for us to try out which we never tried and it was good! The crunch on the outside with a soft flavorful inside! THE AVOCADO CREAM WAS MWAH I was so excited to try it out that when I ordered on the screen I didn't realize I got to pick 2 fruits to go on top so that's why you don't see fruits on my layered paradise I was scrolling so fast couldn't wait to try! my fault for not reading I did get some fruits on the side for the kiddies! Along with Nutella & lilikoi cream! Lilikoi cream was a little too tart for me but if you're someone who's into tarty then yes that's for you! The view! They use to be Maluawai Cafe and this was the best place for acai! I would tell everyone about it. However, after gaining new ownership I assume with the name change to Acai Republic, the quality of acai has gone down. Acai isn't as concentrated of a flavor but feels diluted with bananas now. It's still better than Jamba Juice. But it is comparable to every other place. I missed the old Maluawai and their recipe for acai. Place and ambience is still cool overlooking the lake. The lady who took our order is the same woman that made our order & she even walks out each order to her customers once it's completed. There was 5 people including myself. My sister got the Tahiti acai bowl and loved every bite! She said the fruits were all very fresh and perfectly ripe. Rude staff and horrible food handling, The coxinha is not authentic and they advertise it to have a specific Brazilian cheese it does not. It's sad to see this place getting run down by lazy workers. I've been coming here for 2 years now and it's been a steady decline. All the fried food is left under a heat lamp all day so if you don't get it completely fresh it's going to be hard and almost impossible to eat they also don't update their prices the board outside says one thing but when your ready to pay it's a 20% increase in price that they blame it on their card reader saying " oh sorry square must be charging more " would not recommend read more
