I joined here when I moved into the neighborhood 5 years ago and never signed back up. I was thoroughly disappointed in every aspect. Let's start with the socialization: so I was hoping to meet other women and moms and make some possible friends. Absolutely did not happen. Even when my daughter and I would visit the pool, no one would say a word to us. Filled with cliques. It's all about comparing who to who and keeping up with the Jones's. Who can out-do who and brag the most is who's praised and worshipped. It's gross. Typical country club filled with people who think they're better than everyone else. 2) Now let's talk about customer service! What a horror show. I took my parents here for dinner one evening and as we were being sat, my mom had sat on BROKEN GLASS. Yep, that's right - broken glass was apparently complimentary on her seat. It tore a hole through her pants and as she expressed her concern, not even one member of the staff could care less. She even BLED and they didn't offer so much as an apology. If condescending energy and bragging rights is your thing - by all means - sign right up! This country club and any like it can kiss my heiny as far as I'm concerned though. Full of stuck of snobs. The tee boxes and greens are in good shape. It is a very forgiving course as there is very little in between each of the fairways which are rather compactly laid out next week chiller. None of the holes are north of 86th and nine of the holes are on the south aide of the street. The strange thing is since it is a private course there are no markers for the tea boxes and you don't know what hoke you are on without your caddie. There are no bushes or demarcations between greens and the next holes tee boxes so it feels kind of wide open. If you walk each person gets their own caddie, if you take a cart each foursome gets a walking fore caddie. Everyone was extremely nice at the club. From the gentleman at the bag drop to the starter to the caddies and the servers at the grill. We had lunch before the round and two of her group and the burger. It look like it was about 10 ounces in weight and they said it was season very well and delicious. I had the three mini pork belly sliders with tomato jam and they were very flavorful and just the right size. The french fries were well browned and nicely seasoned. Have no idea what this place costs to be a member but if you have a chance to play there don't hesitate.

Food offerings are average and the help is truck stop ish. If your experience is limited, you may not know this is not close to "country club" as it misses the mark on every note. The husband and wife "owners" are low rent thugs that attract like people. If you like a racist ignorant crowd of "good ole boys" this is your place. If you want a family friendly experience, it is not for you. Lady golfers interested in league play, definitely do not waste your time or money here. You are very likely to be harassed by an uneducated, aging hag that will accuse you of sleeping with her husband. If it does happen to you, remind her that her golf partner is friends with said husband's trashy side piece and she will likely leave, but not until requesting you be removed from the course. In summary, the name "country club" is not regulated and one should never expect high quality here.

I had a work event here and stayed overnight in a suite. Beautiful facilities with well-kept…read moregrounds. The firepit was perfect for the cooler Autumn evening. The food was unexpected for the price range. The Korean cauliflower bites aren't tossed evenly and the dressing itself isn't mixed; each bite varies in spice level. Kitchen prep lacks quality -- gumbo had strings of sausage cubes connected by its lining and steak potato cubes were variable in shape/size. Fried green tomatoes are surprisingly thick crumb-coated when you consider how small and dry the Korean short ribs are. I tried salmon once; the odd presentation over mash, surrounded by bright orange reduction was off-putting. It was also clearly not done in the center. The Angus burger was my consistent safe choice. There is a small fitness facility within the womens locker room. It has various small pieces, including a peloton. Most staff are new to their roles -- the desk person who checked me in, the catering assigned to our conference room, and the kitchen staff who set my plated meal an arms distance away instead of onto the leather pad in front of me. A bit timid but generally nice.

Walmart for shopping, walking parks, and concerts. the property tax is high but the city blames the tax base and is trying to get more businesses to diversify. I am not totally naive that will stop the city and school district from spending. But should lower the rate. Improving the schools and creating more jobs for young people could reduce crime the young people doing.
