I go maybe the 4th time and staff kicks me out telling me that she has to be present with me if I'm going to use the pool. .... I'm 35 years old. To be kicked out of a pool because my grandma isn't with me is petty as hell and ridiculous. Anytime I've been there, there's maybe 10 people there anyways. I've bought food there before as well so they are turning down money for what? To keep the people of briar happy knowing I'm not there? lol. I get it's a club but Jesus Christ, lighten up and don't be so strict. I'm not bothering anyone by laying by the pool. Not happy.

I took my parents here for dinner one evening and as we were being sat, my mom had sat on BROKEN GLASS. Yep, that's right - broken glass was apparently complimentary on her seat. It tore a hole through her pants and as she expressed her concern, not even one member of the staff could care less. She even BLED and they didn't offer so much as an apology. If condescending energy and bragging rights is your thing - by all means - sign right up! This country club and any like it can kiss my heiny as far as I'm concerned though. Full of stuck of snobs. There is shrimp cocktail and salmon on the buffet table. Once everyone is ready for the turkey, they present the the whole turkey to the table prior to carving. Then the sides are served to the table. There was sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberries, green beans and carrots and gravy served with the carved turkey. Left overs are packed. Good food but still miss home cooking but for the price you can't beat it. Show up hungry and eat, no clean up.

French doors open to a small patio and overlooks the golf course. There were French doors on either side of the bar opening into the room where the reception was being held. BUT, only one set was being used as an entrance because otherwise, the doors of the other entrance would have opened right into people. The corner table was right there. Eventually, someone opened one side of the set, but it was not convenient, by any stretch. Service was speedy and food was very good.

The only knock is no towels on the ball washers and no cart GPS. Everywhere you look is visually appealing. It's a short, open course so you'll hear a fair amount of "FORE" but that also helps to not lose your ball. Pace could've been a faster but never felt terribly backed up, and 4.5 hours to finish is reasonable.
