We ordered premium flowers w vase for $113 including delivery and the recipient received a super cheap arrangement. I called and was told they were redelivering same day the right arrangement and to leave the one she got out so they could take it back. She did and they never redelivered, nor did the manager call me back like I was told. I called the next day and was given the run around as to why they weren't delivered and that a manager was gonna call me back to better the situation. I ordered a plant/orchid combo for an important event we were attending. They called me 1.5 hours before the delivery time and said they didn't have my flowers, and did I want to cancel my order. I explained that they left me little options by giving me such short notice. She had few options for me as a replacement and I ended up with a mediocre plant for my important client. The Lansing Floor shop has it been sold. The new owners are horrible! They have really ruined the business! I had an account there for over 25 years with the previous owners, and they always dId excellent work. However, with the new owners, my boyfriend ordered me some flowers for my birthday. They were supposed to deliver them on Saturday, but they delivered them a day early on Friday. They charged him $80 for six roses which Online [see fake photo below], he saw a picture of the new bulbs still closed, but when they got there, they were fully open, which was a bait and switch tactic. That was ridiculous and they died in less than a week! They didn't even put the flowers inside of any paper wrapping nor did they provide any Flower food for the roses. Do not buy any flowers from this location. Please consider using a different florist because the new owners do not care about the existing customer base. The Lansing Floral Shop is the perfect floral shop for those ordering from out of the city. I called from California to place 2 orders for pick up, requesting specific flowers and greenery. The ladies I spoke with were so very nice, knowledgable and accommodating. My niece Facetimed me when she picked up the flowers so I could see them. Both arrangements were BEAUTIFUL! The flowers were fresh and exactly what I requested and the prices were very affordable. I ordered an arrangement ( $82.12) on 4/15 for delivery on my aunt's birthday on 4/16. Lansing Floral gladly took my money, BUT the flowers NEVER arrived. I called many, many times today 4/17. Spoke to a guy this morning. HE SAID THAT THE FLOWERS WERE DELIVERED!!!!! I told him no they were NOT! HE then QUOTED A TOTALLY WRONG ADDRESS!!!!!! He said that the manager would be in the store around noon today. NO call from the manager! Called several times this afternoon, and finally spoke to the "designer", Rachel (spelling...oops), she said that she was alone in the shop. She said the the phone had been ringing all day and the manager had still not showed up. She said that he would be coming in at the end of the day... assuming that meant when the store was closed. This shop has changed hands. My recent floral arrangement which was an expensive buy, started dying on day 2. The roses were fully open on day 2, and today day 4 the lilies are totally depleted of life. Most flowers come with instructions and flower food. This had none of that, There was also no holders to keep the flowers in place if you wanted to change the water. Really needs a lot of improvement to remain serving customers. read more

My first time here. Previous reviewers were right. Staff was VERY friendly. I walked in and wanted flowers as soon as possible. I offered to come back but one lady offered to put together an arrangement eight then. It was for my mother's birthday. I gave some dos and don'ts and before i knew it i had a $30 set of beautiful flowers. My mother loved them!!! They smelled good. They looked good. They were fresh. This is a great place! I used them for my wedding and again for my 10 year anniversary party. The staff is very helpful and is good at taking my very poor explanation and understanding what I want. The flowers are beautiful and fresh. They also gave me a money saving tip that they didn't have to. It was advised that I use fake lily of the valley in my bouquets and corsages, the real deal was very expensive and you couldn't tell the difference. When they did the centerpieces for my anniversary party I was so pleased - they looked exactly as they had in my mind. The prices are competitive and everything has always been ready on time. 4 sisters, a brother and a mother and father and this is our go to Florist in the region area for years and years. I grew up in Griffith and since then have lived many places after being married many years now and now reside in Florida now. We have used this florist on every occasion for years now. Including my parents 50th anniversary dinner and numerous other occasions for family members births, showers, hospitalizations, and most recently a hospitalization for most favorite Uncle who retired from the Hammond Times. I told them the importance of this Uncle and they sent an absolutely gorgeous arrangement in a decorative adorable vase upon their suggestion... He is not a flowery person but bragged about the arrangement his niece sent from Florida and my favorite Aunt loved it as well and the vase it definitely is a keepsake. I saw pictures and asked my Mom later who was visiting her brother at the hospital to be honest and tell me so I would know the quality for the future and she said it was gorgeous and they loved it very much. It was gorgeous from the photos I saw. My Uncle sadly passed away but we again turned to our most favorite florist for our families needs and the arrangements were stunning. I have to say, I have been displeased on the quality of arrangements from several other florists. Many florists but not Lansing Florist view a call from a customer out of state or out of town as a way to cheapen up. This has happened to me and family members as well to deliveries outside of the region area. One time I even refused an arrangement my husband sent me in by a different florist near Indianapolis, I told him why and how much the sentiment meant but I was livid and told the florist so and to return our money. He spent 50 dollars on it, he told me later and it looked like something less than 5 dollars and not as nice as a grocery store for sure. Now, I only call directly florists I trust. This is a wonderful florist, they care, delivered the arrangement quickly and they truly have never disappointed us ever. They also offer fair prices as I know some florists get way over the top on prices. Amazing and my go to florist for years!!! By the way to any florist reading that is not as honest as Lansing florist you do not realize even if we may not live there we can be repeat customers for years and word spreads quickly. I found Lansing Floral through Google. I called last Saturday morning for a fresh floral arrangement that needed to be delivered to Calumet City that same day. I know flowers and floral design, and after speaking with a very friendly & professional female employee, decided on a few specifics and colors, and left the rest to her discretion. My friend and her husband were thrilled with the beautiful arrangement that they received from Lansing Floral, and so am I, after seeing pics of what Lansing Floral created! Because I live far away in northern MN, I was slightly concerned that I would be overcharged for something that was less than beautiful, and that was not the case - the arrangement was full, beautiful, and more than what I had asked for, AND they used an expensive looking gorgeous pitcher for the vase. I am so impressed that I called and asked to speak to the owner on the following Monday, to thank him in person; he is a very nice man who shared with me that this business has been a family owned business for over 50 years, and that integrity means everything to them.
