We stopped in at the House of Lechon in Talisay, Cebu to try their version of Lechon. They make a regular Lechon and a spicy Lechon. Both taste fantastic!! Love the mixture of spices they use to make such flavorful lechon!! My favorite was the Spicy Lechon!! It was the best I tasted during our 3 week trip in the Philippines. I tried about a dozen of them!! Hey, there were a lot of parties that we attended and each one served lechon. There were also several Filipino desserts and complimentary juice, while other drinks such as soda could purchased for an additional fee. While I appreciated the variety of food, I found the flavors to be fairly mild. More than the food, it was the atmosphere and experience that made this cruise memorable. I really enjoyed the scenic river ride and seeing all the lush greenery and tropical vegetation. I also liked the live entertainment. The local music and traditional dance performances were impressive and fun to watch. Some of us tourists even joined in the fun Filipino Tinikling dance.
