They have 2 6-load washers and that's for a decent price. Drying is a quarter for every eight minutes, which is standard in laundromats. They are next door to a dry-cleaning service, which is a plus. They do not really sell any laundry related items (bleach, detergent, softener, etc.) but CVS is right next door! This is also in a plaza next to a bagel place, a clothing store, and a hair salon so if you're looking to drop off clothes to get other things done, then there is your convenience. The lady that runs it in the morning is very nice - she taught me how to fold my shirts faster! Alright, so depending on how much you are washing, you could be saving a bit of change here but for the convenience next to other places on the road, the fact that there is a bathroom, a TV and some seating and the room this laundromat has to fold clothes, as well as the lady who runs the joint, I would recommend this to anyone that lives nearby - Elmwood Park, Saddle Brook and even Garfield residents are all welcome!

Opened 5 years ago, Sonic Suds has been operating on a card system utilizing Cash, EBT, Credit, Debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Gone are those days where washers or dryers accepted quarters. Upon arrival, the interior is spacious with 48 washers varying between small to large and 50 dryers between regular to oversized. Greeted by Amy who was friendly and very helpful especially explaining the card system and usage of the washer and dryer. Overall, cool bright design and layout, plenty of room, wide aisles, tons of folding tables and free wifi. Machine cleaned well and prices reasonable. I would recommend this place.

I used to be able to dry a small to medium load of clothes within 32 minutes. Now it takes up to 48 minutes. When I brought it up to the attendant, he nonchalantly just blew me off and said for me to visually check the filter before I dry, and that the lower row of dryers are the least used and therefore dry better. This is unacceptable! Occasionally when he washes and dries his own clothes, he is absolutely SURE to co clean the filter every time. When I suggested they clean the filters for all the machines at least twice a day, he remarked they only clean the filters at the end of the day when the laundromat is closing. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
