They need to keep an eye on the kitchen, the fries was cold and double fried, the shawerma fries used to be great today it was like rubber. Went to this Halal restaurant for the first time, for the Eid buffet, and the overall experience was not good! It was $35+service charge+tax. What was so ridiculous was that water was not even included in that high price! They charge extra $2 for a small water bottle. On top, server never bothered to tell us that there will be an extra charge for a water bottle and just included in our bill. Parking was also not covered and we were charged for it. Definitely a huge rip-off for what you got for the amount you paid for. When it comes to food, it was just okay and nothing special. There were no beef items beside the ground beef and ground beef with potatoes. Last but not least, we called few days ago for reservation due to a potential high crowd on the Eid day. To our surprise, we were told to just show up and it will be on a first come first serve basis. What a disaster it was and not sure whose idea was that. Even though it had been a while since my last visit, everything still felt familiar in the best way. As always, the service was on point, even with a full crowd. We are not in the area often, and so when we are, I like to try different places. This place seems very modern and clean, and I really wish we had more places like that on the north side. The service was good, although we had to sit outside because the hookah smoke smell was just too strong for me inside. So that's definitely a negative because we should be able to eat inside where AC is without having to sit in a cloud. But being from michigan, I feel like we really know our middle eastern food and this place is good. We were there for lunch, so we had the mixed grill and some other grill items that were good. This is one of the best places you can visit in Houston!! Their food is incredible and their BEST menu item is the mint lemonade. The cup is huge and you must try it if you're in the area! This is honestly one of my favorite spots to eat, I've been here plenty of times and it's usually amazing. The Greek salad is always a go-to for me, and the chicken is solid. This time, though, I decided to try something different and went with the lamb shank... not really my thing. Plus, my salad came out with brown lettuce, which was disappointing. It's always super vibey and it's always nice to sit in the glass room. The service was a bit slower than usual too, our waitress took a while to check in on us. So are the lamb chops, hummus and whole fish. Great hookah too! My favorite blend is love 66. Clean and spacious. It's also family friendly and has a big outdoor play area for the children. Found this place through IG and of course bookmarked it so when I was in this side could give it a go, and I'm sure glad I did! When we pulled up the outside of the building was beautiful and inviting. We walked in and their was a small bakery counter to the left with a brick oven in the back as well. We were greeted promptly and were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Lots of space indoors and outdoors and also has a private dining space that you can have private parties in. I love that there was so much space to spread out, and plugs in Al the walls so should you hang out for a work day, you're plugged in and good to go. This place seems very authentic in my opinion, lots of hookah around as well, and all the food looked amazing it was so hard to decide! I got the samosas (half and half) as I couldn't decide which I wanted. I liked them both but prefer the beef! Also I ordered the chicken Schwarma with fries and it was absolutely delicious with the garlic sauce that comes with it. You can sub out your fries for a salad! Everything that came out look phenomenal, I wasn't able to finish all my food, so it was nice to have something for later on. The one thing I would say that would be helpful to know is water came out in a bottle so you're charged $3 for that and then gratuity is added in already as well. Words cannot encompass how much I love this place. On my recent trip to Houston, LaPasha was THE highlight. The only way I can describe this establishment is that this is a place that has something for everybody. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating, with a large tree with sparkly lights and string lights. They have a play area for kids... it never ends. The ambience is upbeat and the energy here is amazing. They have different djs come during the week to play music, which is fire. I have never been to a place that has a more diverse patronage. Everybody from single groups of guys, gals, families, and everything in between can be found here. In this aspect, I can easily say LaPasha is an institution of its own. The hostesses are super nice and accommodating. On our first visit our waiter, Mohamed (from Ramallah) was incredible and made amazing suggestions. On our second visit, our waitress Dina was even better and went above and beyond to make sure we had the time of our life here. I love the mint lemonade here and the tricolor smoothie Is also amazing. We haven't tried much of their food but desserts have been pretty amazing. The kanafa is my favorite. It is appropriately cheesy, crunchy and sweet. The rice pudding is also very good. The hookah here is absolutely perfect. I highly suggest getting a fruit head for a great experience. We came here for my cousin's 30th birthday and my older cousin made the reservation. It ended up being two more people for the reservation but they didn't mind and accommodated two more seats. Everyone else got full meals but I wasn't hungry and opted for dessert. I got a strawberry, banana, Nutella waffle and a pot of green tea. The tea was delicious, as was the waffle. The ambience was calm but I wish they dimmed the lights a little bit. It was so bright in there that I got a headache. I'm giving this place 1 star because their valet service damaged my car. I'm still in the process of getting in touch with them. They had no other option but to valet and there was construction. The valet driver most likely hit a bump and destroyed the engine cover. I didn't notice until I began driving on the highway and heard a sound and discovered that it got dislodged. In addition to this, the food was mediocre, the service was not very good and the lines at the buffet were confusing and took forever.
