After craving a sweet treat all day, I was so excited when I drove by Ice Cream Plus on the way to dinner! I spent my dinner dreaming of a soft-serve cone, and my dessert definitely lived up to my expectations! The menu boasted overly 20 options for toppings, as well as several "flavor bursts" (flavored syrup drizzles) hard and soft ice cream, and even savory sandwich and sides! I got a classic vanilla-chocolate twist, which was simple yet delicious. My waffle cone was also fresh and crunchy. My sister chose a "flurry" (ICP's equivalent of a DQ Blizzard) with a cake batter flavor burst and cookie dough pieces. She loved that she got to pick her own flavor instead of just getting the traditional vanilla. The prices were very reasonable, certainly cheaper than the ice cream places in Fishers. The outside seating area is very cute, with picnic tables, giant checkers, and ICP's signature advertisement sign, always emblazoned with quippy quotes. The only reason why I'm docking a star is because the service was quite slow and they were out of several ingredients.

    Cute sign.

Disappointed. I'd give this place another try and better review if I received a better quality cone or treat. Granted, this day was HOT but the dipped cone had a very thin coating as if it was the bottom of the barrel so it was watered down with syrup. Because of that, and the heat, it became an awful mess. If my assessment was correct and there wasn't enough chocolate to properly coat two cones, we shouldn't have been offered this as it's a poor representation of their ice cream.

Came 10 minutes before closing and all employees there, lights on, and they said they couldn't serve us. Good atmosphere tho.

If you are coming to a small town ice cream shop maybe don't be in a huge hurry, and get to know folks sitting outside.

My experience may be because I was part of a large group of ladies, the service was slow but friendly. It also seemed a bit chaotic. Everyone complained of the parking as well but I did not have that issue as I always get to where I am going early and I found it easy to park in the extra lot behind the building. Apparently there is a place across the street from the building where you can also park. We were there at 1pm so lunch was on the agenda. I decided to forgo a regular meal and just get the cake flight, after all they are a bakery and I should try their best! I ordered a regular iced tea (no sugar) to go along with my cake. The cake flight I chose was the C.J.'s Vanilla Almond Buttercream (Wedding Cake), Dorothy Blevin's Cake, and the Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream. It was a good choice for lunch although if I go back I will just get the cake that I really liked out of the 3. Maybe next time also I will try the chicken salad croissant and the chicken velvet soup. I think my experience will be better next time outside of a big group. My favorite cake of the 3 was the Dorothy Blevin's Cake as it was unique with a denser texture than the others and it had pecans, pineapple, and a caramel topping. I thought the almond cake was a bit cloyingly sweet and the almond tasted pretty artificial, the chocolate was not chocolate enough for me if that makes sense. Maybe needed to be a little darker chocolate and richer but if you are looking for something lighter that may be your thing. Overall I will go back and try this bakery/cafe again and hopefully will have a better experience and I will order a full lunch next time.

These are soft, buttery, rich, and packed with bright lemon flavor with just the right touch of sweet white chocolate. Every bite tastes amazing! Honestly one of the BEST scones I've ever had. If you see them available, grab one immediately. Then probably grab a second because you'll regret not doing it. Absolute must-try.

The space itself is what appears to be an old schoolhouse, and it's incredibly warm and welcoming inside. There's a great mix of seating on the first floor, including community seating near a fireplace, smaller tables, and larger tables for groups. I noticed there's also an upstairs area that I didn't explore, but even just the main level felt homey and comfortable. It's definitely a spot I'd come back to for getting out of the house to work, bringing a laptop, or even meeting friends for a casual coffee date. The vibe is very cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and kind. The menu is thoughtfully curated, not overwhelming, but still offers a nice variety of syrups and flavors. My only small wish is that there were more loose-leaf tea options beyond black and green tea, but that didn't take away from the experience. Overall, this was a fantastic visit and a café I'd happily return to.

And at least for the holiday season, the interior looks incredibly cozy and inviting. If you have nowhere to go for a few hours, it would be a nice place to hang out and chat with friends. However, the coffee is fine, not spectacular. And the wait on the Tuesday morning I stopped by was about 25 minutes. Maybe it was quicker in the drive thru, but then you'd miss out on the decorations. Overall, it's a cute enough place to stop by on a day off for a leisurely morning, but I don't know that I would make a special trip.

This restaurant is new to us, as it wasn't there when we lived in Pendleton many moons ago. We all love an old historic home, so win, win. I was so excited about my flight of mimosas, I didn't get a picture of my omelet, but it was devine. All 4 of my granddaughters wanted the berry waffles and every single one of them devoured their food. My daughter, mother and grandmother ordered different breakfast wraps and we all very pleased. You do have to go up to the register to order and then they bring your food to you. You're asked to bus your own tables into provided bus bins. Very small business feel with a lot of attention to detail and providing a homey yet upscale atmosphere? I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was greatly enjoyed by all.
