Great ice cream. A classic. I've moved since they opened, so I don't go much anymore, but I went back tonight for the first time in a year or so. It's still such a clean shop with nice lighting and very outgoing employees. Ice cream is a little pricey, but nothing outlandish for craft ice cream. Stopped by recently for ice cream. We have tried the one in Carmel, but this was our first time in fishers. It is a very nice and big, and the ice cream definitely lived up to the Graeter's high standards. The black raspberry chip is my wife's favorite around. This time I got a pint, but didn't realize it was the dairy free, more expensive alternative. I wouldn't have knowingly grabbed that, but it was right at start of line and I didn't see other coolers with different options so could have helped having it made a little more clear but it was my fault for not reading closer. She did say she could notice a difference but that it was still really good, so that is a cool alternative for someone who may have dairy free needs. There was a big group of younger people in front that all ordered shakes when I walked in, so I could tell they were a little flustered trying to get them all done, but I didn't think it impacted my experience at all because they were still quick and welcoming. A Cincinnati Favorite! We love Graeter's but are also a house divided. One offspring loves Graeter's and the other loves Handels. Us parents, we love them both. Tonight we went for the birthday of the child who loves Graeter's! I tried their new seasonal dark chocolate with brownies. It's very good but there aren't as many brownie pieces as they have chocolate chips in their ice cream. About those chocolate chips. It's kind of magical, they are delicious, rich chocolate in ice cream but they somehow do not freeze and get hardened like regular chocolate chips. And some of them are huge, as big as the spoon, it's like hitting the jackpot when you come across one of those. You pretty much can't go wrong with any flavor that ends in "chip"; mocha chip, black raspberry chip, chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, mint chip. All good! Because it's the birthday of one of my children and well the anniversary of my working very hard to have said child I treated myself too and ordered a chocolate dipped waffle cone. I highly recommend trying it. But watch them as they scoop your ice cream, I know this sounds crazy but I had to stop her... she was going to put three scoops on ice cream into the cone. I would never have been able to eat that much and it would have been a crying shame to waste it. So, word to the wise, the waffle cones have a lot of ice cream in them. read more

Hi yes, I'd like a sample of everything. Ok so I didn't get a sample of everything but I probably could have ordered anything and liked it. Walking in I was already impressed, the shop had a clean smell to it. Not like they just cleaned it smell and it smells overwhelmingly like cleaning solution but more along the lines of it always smells this way kinda clean. We entered from the back door, that's what all the cool people do, and soon noticed a drinking fountain with plastic cups. Don't you always want a glass or plastic cup of water after eating ice cream? You don't have to answer that but if you do, you wouldn't have had to purchase a bottle of water. Its details like that I can appreciate, thanks to whosoever idea that was. Before walking over to the counter I took a moment to check out the two different displays one that held prepackaged ice cream ready to go and another that displayed some candy and other assorted trinkets. I knew what I wanted, the maple cinnamon stroopwafel which features maple cinnamon crunch ice cream, hot fudge, butterscotch and a stroopwafel. If you look carefully the word butterscotch is spelled wrong on the menu board, it shows buttersotch under the description for the maple cinnamon stroopwafel. However the treat listed directly below, the turtle sundae which also features butterscotch has the word butterscotch spelled correctly. Regardless of spelling errors as long as my ice cream is correct, I'd be happy with anything really. Any combination of ice cream flavors, toppings and however it was served, whether it be in a cone, dish or cup would have been good, and was as between everyone in our group we had ordered a variety of ice cream that would bring us back again. We took our order outside and maybe it was a sign, maybe it wasn't but I had noticed several lady bugs on the ground. They are a sign of good luck, well, there supposed to be. This place is not nearly as good as when it first opened. The portions get smaller and smaller. The single scoop I ordered didn't even go to the top of the lip of the waffle cone. I have read a few reviews on here about it being overpriced and I am going to call bologna! If you are having ice cream that is not bought at the store and even then ice cream at the store can be even more expensive, then the ice cream is already going to be overpriced. You get what you pay for here, so take the price in and know that you will get what you put in. To start, anything here that is "chip" really means CHUNK. I love this, because, chunk means more chocolate, but be aware that they have large pieces of chocolate inside their ice cream and it is heavenly. Flavors I love include : Strawberry Chocolate Chip *limited time only unfortunately Strawberry - theirs tastes like natural strawberry and is not overly sweet, yet very creamy *** Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip - NO WORDS. Seriously some of the best ice cream, especially if you love bourbon. MUST try. The staff here are always friendly, efficient, and helpful with recommendations. I really want to love Graeters but I can't get past how expensive their ice cream is compared to other ice creameries in the Fishers area. Here a $2.99 single scoop gets you a small single scoop. At Handles a little further up the road a $2.95 single scoop gets you a huge & mighty dish full of premium ice cream. Most recently I decided to pick up a quart of vanilla to-go. My jaw dropped in disbelief when they said it was going to be $14.00. I could only assume there were pieces of edible gold mixed into this quart but to my dismay I found nothing but vanilla ice cream. What a bummer. On the upside this location is indoors with lots of seating, they have a case full of items you can take to-go, they have gelato, sorbet, old fashioned soda, shakes, sundaes, smoothies, ice cream cakes and pies. I have tried several of their ice cream flavors and the two I would come back for are the Bourbon Ball (it has actual bourbon in it) & the Black Raspberry Chip. read more
