I needed a laptop for my church group. This place was recommended. I picked one out that was $200. Everything seemed fine the guy was cool. He said if there's any issues he would fix it so that was good. Fast forward to the next day and it doesn't work with the Wi-Fi at the location I needed it. So I came back a few weeks later because I was out of town and the guy remembered me. I was pretty irritated because it was also really dirty and gross to touch and I did not want that to be what I give my church. I told him I was really irritated and I basically was asked what I wanted to do. I told him I guess just take it back but he doesn't take it back. My plan was to go to Costco and get one that has warranty even if it's about 500 more or at least if something went wrong they could take care of it. He said give him an hour and he'll have it back on track just in case if there's any issues. It was working at his location when I bought it and it was like working at his location when I came to pick it up. to be honest I didn't really think he did anything to it. Then when I took it to the rec center to see if it would work it connected and I also saw that he really really really did a great job of cleaning up. It was pretty grimy and when I opened it I had to check it on the front to make sure it was the same computer because it had a mark on the front. It looks really good so it also worked! I feel kind of bad because I was so irritated I told him just to keep it and donate it lol I'm so happy that he didn't let me walk out and that he was able to not only re-calibrate it but cleaned it so where it looks brand new! I am definitely not going to be embarrassed to bring this laptop as a gift to the meeting and I'm very happy that he stands behind his work. This is not your parents' computer or laptop repair e-joint, stuck in the back of a large electronics store that sells washers or dryers or goes by secret agent names. This is a neighborhood shop on Plano Parkway in East Plano run by two brothers, and the store is open for very long hours. They will diagnose the computer problem and then give you a cost. I have used them for over 5 years and would go to no other place. My two computers are close to 10 years old, and they keep them running like a teenager doing zoomies. in 2016 I had reluctance about using a repair shop and had been using Fry's but I took a chance with Laptop Care and they upgraded a modem for me for much less than Fry's. Through the years I have purchased two desktop computers and three lap top computers. The customer service emphasizes the customer. I first went across the street to frys looking for a vga cable but the store was empty and no one around for help. Saw this place and stopped in before heading to Best Buy and Moody took great care of me. I showed him a pic of what my laptop and monitor needed and he gave me the cable I needed. I have very old PC that had hardrive failure and I took it to them and they were very reasonable and fair with their quotation of 100 to 150. Other shop wanted to charge 250. Eventualy they motherboard was damaged so they gave a me a decent used Dell PC for 100 bucks. So far it has been the best compuer reapair experience. read more

Employee that assisted told me I could add more rams to it but this wasn't the case and he didn't inform me that there was a no return policy upon purchase. I had trouble viewing a disk, but mistakenly thought it was my computer. I was overconfident and tried to use the online suggestions for downloading codec for the error message I received. I totally messed everything up, and Laptop Care was able to save all my data, put everything back together in a reasonable time (and did not exceed the estimated time that they projected), and it didn't cost an arm and a leg for my mistake. I bought a refurbished laptop in addition for peace of mind, and all of my data was added as a courtesy to the second laptop at my convenience. I highly recommend this shop. They are very knowledgeable and have given me tips and suggestions on how to better use Windows 10 (since Windows XP is no longer an option). read more
