    Pit Stop Last Night

If you are traveling and have a pup with you....GO GO GO! They don't charge extra for pets, and overall had a good vibe. When I arrived the front desk was super friendly, and had a great vibe about her. She was extremely helpful, and made sure to put me on the 1st floor so my pup could enjoy easy access outside. The room was clean, and pretty darn simple. They have renovated in the last few years, so has much more of a modern vibe. Contemporary would probably be the best description. Anyways, clean, simple, and fits a great need in the market! The price was maybe a little steep for what you get. I little north of Holiday Inn or Hampton, but lets keep rolling. Had breakfast in the morning, and it was decent for a hotel. Eggs, biscuits, gravy, bacon, cereal, ect, You've been there and done that. The dinning room wasn't the most comfortable, so if I can suggest, grab and go back to the room. Showers were great water pressure wise, so overall, it's solid. Super nice people, and solid for a one night stay! Give it a go!

This property is only 8 months old and you can tell...very modern and still smells new. Check in took less than 3 minutes and the staff is very friendly. Can't wait to see what's for breakfast in the morning and I wish I were staying for more than 1 night!

The best western Markita inn was the most affordable with the most stars, without being a dingy motel that probably has some sort of trafficking being run out of it. So I booked and prayed for the best. We pulled out pretty late and I'll admit, I was a bit nervous when I saw the place. But, was immediately put at ease. The lady who checked us in was so helpful, friendly and professional and QUICK! Knowing it was late and I had a crying baby in the car. She sensed the tiredness. Lobby was clean and smelled good. Our room was a bit outdated, they *could* do renovations and fix up the rooms a bit, but the room was clean! I hate carpeted hotels, but the carpet didn't feel too squishy and gross like hotels do at times. The room was clean, beds clean and comfortable. It was a quiet stay. We had breakfast the next morning and it was great! Full breakfast (biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc.) and the waitress was so helpful and great. I'm not a big cry baby about outdated rooms as long as it's clean and staff is friendly, professional and I feel safe. It was a great experience. We will be staying again on our way home. Thank you for taking pride in your business and love to see it owned by a Choctaw Nation member.

The bed was very poorly made and looked ridiculous, and the fitted sheet would not stay on AT ALL. The TV didn't work, and I had to look up the phone number and call the front desk on my cell phone to see about getting the tv fixed because the phone in the room didn't work, either! Breakfast was a joke. They had biscuits and gravy. The gravy came from a broke container and was ice cold. The orange juice was colored water. They had bagels but no cream cheese. They ran out of waffle batter. The waffle maker look to be vantage World War II surplus. The ice machine was broken on the first floor and I had to go upstairs to get ice. At 6:47 the fire alarm sounded. The guy down the hall finally went to the front desk as you couldn't call on the room phones. I wonder what would've happened in an actual emergency. It is very pet friendly. The staff friendly enough. Unfortunately not much worked in the hotel. Way over priced for what we received in return. Very poor!

BEDBUGS!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!…read more Stay away from this place. Found one crawling on my bed. I showed the lady at the front and all she told me was to wash everything in hot water. The place is filthy, stains on the walls, tub and the sheets are dingy. Well thanks to this little stay I got either sterilize all my stuff of throw it out and replace it. All she offers was to put me in another room. No sympathy and couldn't care less at this issue. Honestly wish I didn't even have to give it one star just to post this.

I booked through Expedia but when i went to check in the hotel charged me a $50 upfront deposit that would be returned once I checked out. The room (106) was a good size however, the door to the room looked like it had been kicked in. Walls were patched up. On the wall by the trashcan was disgusting stuff. I coule tell it was from things being thrown into the trashcan. Wasnt even attempted to be cleaned or wiped down. The towels were very dingy. One of the "washcloths" was beyond stained. At the end of our visit, we piled together the dirty linen we used and made sure all trash was in trashcans. (My mom used to be a housekeeper so she's instilled proper etiquette into me for leaving a hotel room.) I checked out early and was told the $50 deposit would hit around 11am, when the other guests started checking out. Around noon i checked my bank account and $50 was there. I was looking at my account today and saw a $25 charge from Econo Lodge. I just got off the phone with a Kristy, who said she's the manager. She said i was charged because the housekeeper said we ruined bath mat, towels, and washcloths. This has me floored. I travel all over the country doing reviews on hotels, reataurants, attractiona, and more. Trashing others property is not in my nature nor will it ever be. So, now i get to dispute this charge with my bank. CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS! They gave me my $50 back the day I checked out and two days later charged me $25! I almost didn't catch it. I had seen the $50 refunded so I assumed I was good. No! Shady!
