Lara is amazing with how she treats her furry clients. My dogs aren't has anxious when they come here but kicker is she'll even groom CATS !!! I've been bringing my dogs here for a while and recently, had adopted a Siamese who seriously need a bath after jumping into curry. I called to drop my fur babies off and jokingly asked if they would groom my cat and to my surprise she said absolutely. I literally dashed back home and returned with Courage ( the siamese). He was fluffy, silky and white when we picked him up. Took my dog here and once i picked her up she was full of scrapes on top of her eyes. Her eyes were red and she couldn't even open them. The receptionist told me she was hard to deal with which is why they took longer than usual. Once i got there, the older woman who was grooming her kept pulling the leash that was around her neck, aggressively. She looked as if she hated her job... If they knew they couldn't work on my dog, they could've easily just called me and said they won't be able to. I had to go and buy eye drops for her poor eyes because she has been trouble opening them. As well as an ointment for the areas where she was cut. Some people are not qualified nor hold any empathy skills to work with animals. PLS save your pets from coming here!! read more

Olive had his first grooming service with this establishment. I like how they trimmed around the face & the back of his body. Some of the things they overlooked were the end of his tail, his paws, and his arm. So far, they have done a better job than other groomers. However, I am disappointed that they completed missed trimming the paws. It would be great if the groomers can reason with me and accommodate the things they missed. They are so accommodating and understanding, they show zero judgement if you have a spicy puppy and they treat them with so much patience, they are great and diligent as well as being super affordable! Disappointment. I had high hopes as the reviews states appointment required. I called the day before and "made an appointment" I called the morning of asking "is it 11 or 1130?" They go "oh uh you can just bring them in around 1230-1" Wait I thought it was appointment only? I should of just said no at that point but my dogs needed it. Then the pricing was double what a normally pay. Yes I got ONE upgrade each, and with that said it wasn't done well. The receptionist didn't even know what was included in the bath even though it's written right there... And when taking my dogs back no compassion to help ease then. Just pulling on them while one has trauma and I was trying to let her know and she didn't care. And then to get my dogs and their nails cut me up worse than before I took them in! I was horrified. I'd gone here maybe 3 or 4 times in the past & never had an issue. This time around I payed $70 for wash, cut & flea treatment on my cat. They also cut his nails. When asked if I wanted his fur cut or shaved, I asked for a light cut. When I got my cat back, his fur was cut really short & unevenly. Shorter than they had normally done in the past. The fur on his legs was way longer than on his back and belly which was SUPER short. I know it's just fur & it'll grow back but damn it would have been nice for it to at least look even. Not to mention he still had A LOT of left over cut fur all over him that I had to brush off when we got home. Ok so I dropped my pom ok off there & left to run a few errands I called because I was running a little late. I was given a time she would be ready & I wasn't gonna make it so I was calling to let them know. (I was only 15 minutes late.) So when I get there to pick up my little princess she acting very strange. She wanted out of that shop so bad. They gouged a big chunk of her he air & skin out by her throat. I was not happy about it. Then the groomer tried shifting blame on to me & said if she hasn't been so matted that wouldn't have happened. And I get I'm sure she is correct in saying that. However if it was so bad then it should've been left alone or brought to my attention BEFORE they ripped out part of her neck. Also that nightt my baby girl had be bribed with roast beef to come out from under the table where she liked go hide sometimes. She was so upset about her hair cut. The next day she could hardly move or walk from that experience at the groomers. So I say that place sucks and their groomers got their license from cracker jacks box. I don't normally write reviews but I'm extremely upset. Took my dog in here to get a full groom for my wedding this weekend. Just wants a trim; wash, nails and to clean up around his ears. When i got him back, I paid and left because he was freaking out- pretty scared. When I got in the car and looked at him, I saw the terrible terrible cut job that they did. His ears were so choppy and uneven and his hair was short and just looked so bad. I should have gone in and got my money back but I was just too upset . I called multiple places and each place always said that they will not take cats, or I have to schedule an appointment, or there will be an extra charge for "tough" cats. I called Lara's and one of the employees told me, "we will try but bring the cat in." I had so much hope so I quickly took my cat that same day. Spoke with Nancy on the phone. She's the owner of the shop. Very nice and helpful. Was able to schedule my twin brother and I dogs last minute (so grateful) especially on a Sunday! All I can say is awful, my dog has been here a couple of times this time he freaked out when they were trying to take him to the back resisting and crying that should have been 1st red flag, he was picked up they barely trimmed his nails and noticed after he got home they did not squeeze his gland. Never again. Also the front staff do not have very good customer service skills. read more

My dog, Dudley has had bad experiences and I let them know before hand that he is extra sensitive about his nails and paws. I told them to call me if there was an issue - they never did - which I was presently surprised! They called me an hour and half later maybe - which also I was surprised because I usually get called 3 hours later. I go to get him and they did exactly what I requested. They even were able to trim his nails which a lot of groomers I. The past haven't been able to do. The people were nice and friendly ... and I super happy they were understanding about Dudley's issue with his paws because they made it happen. We will be back for sure! They do the easiest type of haircut. They're very good at shaving down the pet all the way then that you could see their skin even if I'm the type of owner that detanglers the pets hair before I take it to the groomer because I brush my dogs hair very frequently. Plus one time they cut my dog a little bit I'm not saying it was a lot but they didn't tell me and my dog was scratching at one point over there and I realize that there was a section that was healing and that one she was licking i. There was a miscommunication and we had asked for a trim of nails on both of our dogs. I came back to check on our dogs as it was taking a while and I wasn't sure if I wrote down the right phone number but when I came in, my pomeranian had a full teddy bear cut. I do understand that you have a business to run, that you had spent a lot of time to cut his fur, but when a customer asked for a simple request, a mistake was made and no compensation was made, it sucks. I'm sure this is a fine place and they'll do a good job with grooming your dog (which they did with my other dog) but in terms of customer service I wish something extra was done to make up for the mistake. I ended up paying 52 for a haircut I didn't ask for instead of an original 20 dollars I was planning to spend on just their nails. I'm going to be fair and say still give this place a check out. But if you do come here, make sure you confirm on a price and what is to be done with your dog before agreeing with a service. I'd love to come back but that experience with no effort to compensate is what affected me to write this review. read more
