We love this place. This is the only Mexican restaurant that I've found that I can eat the rice (not overt cooked). The food is good. The service is always friendly. If you need assistance they will help you. I regret forgetting the name of the last person who waited on us but he was absolutely the most impressive server I've come across. He help me select my meal and have me several options on how I can get the most for my money on my to go order. The food we packed nicely. To the food. I ordered the 2 4oz. steaks, rice, beans and a salad. The meat was tender. It did have a lot of fat in it but I guess that's what makes it tender. As always the rice was good. I didn't eat the guacamole because of the tomatoes in it. The kids burger was regular sized to me and it came with fries and a drink. I went to Laredo's on Cinco de Mayo for the 1st time. They had some decent specials for the day $5 for 3 tacos, 16oz house margarita for $7 and beer specials (I don't remember the price) I ordered off the lunch menu and got the chicken fajitas which came with rice and beans. I was very surprised that I didn't get any condiments like guac, sour cream or lettuce. The fajitas were okay nothing special. The chips and salsa they brought out were really good. My bf ordered the taco special with chicken and beef as the meat options. He said the tacos were just okay, and he said the same about the pasta dish he ordered. I ordered some food to go on the evening of November 23, 2025. When I entered the restaurant, the hostesses had no personality and I could tell she didn't want to be there. She handed me my food and I asked for 2 simple things. I needed some extra napkins, as I had a big order. She handed me 2 napkins. That was it. I also asked her for some lime slices. I watched her walk over to the container with the lime slices and pick up 2 tiny ones with her bare hands and wrap them up in a napkin. Her excuse for the napkin wrapping? I don't have any containers to put these in. She shoved the napkin with the 2 tiny lime slices into the bag. When I got home, the limes were dried up. We went in at 5 o'clock this Saturday. I ordered the ribeye steak..it was thin and over cooked to my order and was tiny for a $22 steak. The House salad looked like weeds pulled from the back yard with mushrooms none the less and salad dressing package from a food truck with unripe tomatoes. I took the steak home and gave it to my dog...horrible. My wife ordered a beef burrito and it came out with what looked like taco meat inside a taco flour tortilla with nothing...no sauce...rice..no onion...nothing but plain meat with Queso Sauce topping both "burritos" with a giant pile of iceberg lettuce with a tiny amount of cheese. Have been a LONG time customer of this establishment, but no longer. These employees are so rude and accusatory to so many customers. Have spent thousands of dollars in this place but Edwardo and their management is horrible. Owners and management do not care about customer satisfaction or quality or service. Not to mention I've been served raw meat there MULTIPLE different times and brushed it off because of my previous care for this place. Another great little place for Mexican food. Food is good and plentiful. I like the margaritas but found them to be on the weak side. salsa is bland and is soupy. Salsa dripped all over the table . I was told too bad but that's the way it comes. Have been back several times to both Laredo's and they are consistent in food quality and service. read more

We visit Laredo's on a regular basis. The food is good, friendly staff, fast service. My only complaint is that the Texas margaritas are inconsistent. Sometimes they are really good and sometimes they taste like the regular Margarita. It seems to depend on who is making them. We have sent them back and asked for more a Grand Mariner. read more

We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked into the door. This seemed as if it would be a prelude to a wonderful dinner. I ordered the veggie fajitas. The mister ordered the barbecue. The food was delicious but if I had to rate the level of service our server provided it would fall into the overall 3 star rating. I have had amazing service with mediocre food and the review would have been favorable. In this case, I would have to say that the level of service outweighs what could have been a 5 star review. This is a TERRIBLE location the location off old 41 is MUCH better. We went here for a friends bday, there was a roach that climbed from the walls onto our table... we asked to move tables but just eventually left due to not only the lack of strive but just being grossed out. Food was delicious but the service was slow! We went on a night that was not at all busy, no wait to be seated and plenty of open tables, the server was just terrible. Seated for 20 mins before we got chips and salsa and another 15 mins before our order was taken, I could go on but it's just more complaining. I heard from an ex co-worker about this place. Im always looking for decent Mexican food in Georgia which is almost an impossible quest, and she said it was good so I made it a point to go one day. I went there this week. When you enter there were people waiting for a greeter or seater but there is no such thing. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant anyway. It was after 200p so if there was a lunch rush it was already gone. A waitress comes over to ask if I need a menu. I thought that a bit odd that she comes way over in the corner just to see if I needed a menu. Why not just bring one? So away she goes and a few min later another guy comes with a menu, lays it down, and away he goes never to be seen again. A few min later a third person comes to take my order. I get combo 9, an enchilada, a burrito,and a chili poblano. The menu just lists it as a chili poblano but most know it as a chili relleno. Of the three the chili poblano was the best. I would rate it average with the enchilada and burrito a little less than average. Photo posted. They bring plenty of chips and a little dish of salsa. Thats pretty much the norm everywhere. Your salsa is gone before 1/3 of the chips are eaten. Some places notice that your out of salsa and offer more, but they dont notice or mention it here. Yes I could have asked but im trying to cut down on salt so just let it be. When I was done there were only 2 tables occupied in the whole place, and 2 servers were paying far more attention to dirty tables than the diners still there. I was ready to get outta there and wanted the bill. I finally just got up and walked to the register thinking that would work and it did. Thats one way to get your bill. No....this place isnt good. I'll let me ex co worker keep thinking it is though. Wouldnt want to hurt her feelings and tell her she gave me a bum steer! p.s. We were there earlier today Sunday May 15. The food was not good. The chips were hard, but the salsa was good. We decided to split a combo and my husband had a beer. Went on a Saturday night. Music was very good. Service was adequate, not excellent. The Super Burrito (steak) was tasty but the mushrooms added an unexpected taste which required guacamole and sour cream to compensate for. The ground beef on the combo 11 was not very seasoned. Recently went through a renovation and when I walked in I questioned if I was at LaParilla. Though the decor is beautiful, it's a bit overkill and you can't "belly up to the bar" because there is an annoying large piece of wood that prevents the chair from moving close enough to eat. Had to lean over. Not comfy. Unfortunately, I witnessed a female server come behind the bar, wipe her nose 3 times with both hands and immediately prepare drinks for a table. Unsanitary and against health code. Perhaps a little more training is in order. My server was nice, portions are large and presentation was good. I hope nobody wiped their nose and picked up my plate. Won't be back, but I'm sure I won't be missed read more

Of course, I was furious all for the manager Lori to explain that he did not throw the lid at me but he threw it at the table! No wonder the employees behave so poorly! Lacked flavor. We tried chicken and steak, little to no meat. Expect flavor and some meat for the price. My wife's enchiladas were cold, the cheese one congealed and we live 5 minutes away. They had to be pre-made. Again so bad for carry out. Trying to support local but I would highly recommend anything else but this place. Overall, terrible experience. We had a late basketball game. Online, it says they close at 10:30 on Fridays. We went around 9:20. We never felt welcome. Right before 10, they start stacking chairs around us and in the entire restaurant. It was clear, we weren't welcome. There were a few tables around us and they felt the same way -- it was like we were infringing on their personal time. I don't mean a section but the entire restaurant looked like it had been closed for awhile! We asked for a Manager after we closed out and we're leaving. She handled it poorly. She says they close at 10, website hasn't been changed and this is the way they do it and have for 18 years. Waste of time talking to her!
