Amazing birria tacos, excellent crunch profile and flavors bussing. The sauces are so good i gotta dabble in each one. Torta was hella good too i got beef the chicken one slick better but they both pretty good. The mango juice was tantalizing. Rice was kinda bland but they both pretty rest of the food so good it doesn't even matter. I just wish they had churros!!! But yeah if u want good eats come here real authentic eats. First time here. Got an order to go. Taco plate had no toppings on the tacos. The shrimp was cold. Beans were cold and rice was ok. The chips were stale those went in the trash. 26.00 ! The pork burrito was good tho. The taco plate did not look like what was pictured on the menu. Was disappointed as the reviews looked good and it's close to our home. However, the barilla pizza (or taco) is something I personally believe, would be best if it's eaten RIGHT after coming out of the kitchen! The beef was tender and had some flavor. The barilla broth though was good UNTIL I noticed there was rice at the bottom, which was a bit strange, because I'd never heard of the broth being made with rice? Is this the norm :/ ... I also ordered the guac which had absolutely no flavor for the price, I expected a litttttle salt, pepper, spice, jalapeño something. But unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. Came here for lunch today and it was so disappointing. I ordered a chicken tamale, shrimp taco and a side of rice. I was asked 3 times if I wanted to "add chips & salsa." I said no 3 times but was still charged for it anyways. When I complained I was told by the woman at the register "on the weekend everyone orders chips & salsa." They refused to give me the side of rice I ordered and the shrimp taco was just 2 shrimp on a tiny tortilla. So I went here and I ordered a taco salad, I Immediately notice that the meat was red, so I'm worried because I ordered chicken! and I know what chicken looks like. The food is always prepared fresh, so if you plan on picking it up during a lunch hour, might want to call ahead. I'd recommend "Al Pastor Taco Plate," as it comes with three tacos, rice, beans, and a drink. Then boom, you're out of there for less than $10. I've been coming to this location for the better part of four years. Honestly they are a staple in the community. Delicious food consistently. Also, they have a supermarket, that you pass on the way to the restaurant, for sure go in there! I love this place. Excellent food and nice people. I have enjoyed everything that I've had here. My favorites are the chicken tacos & chicken tamales. Mmmmmmm. I always buy extras to take home for later. They have horchata and it's good. They have a decent selection of Mexican beer & Jarritos sodas. My son, however, did not enjoy his carne asada and said it lacked flavor; also, the beans were not a hit amongst my family even though I enjoyed them. I must say that I would not dine in again: the fly traps hanging outside of the building should've tipped us off: there were flies inside and the place wasn't spotless clean like I would have liked. read more

True authentic street tacos, I usually go to the location on Cobb but since that one was closed (reopen now) and I needed my taco fix I came up here, very nice location and much larger than the one on Cobb. They have a sauce & condiment bar at this location so you can get as much sauce, cilantro, onions, etc as you'd like. The tacos are just as great as the location on Cobb & prices are the same. read more

I used to visit the sister location a good bit when I lived in Smyrna but we've moved recently and I was so excited to see they had another location! We were so hungry, I didn't even get to snap pictures of our meals but I got the taco plate (pollo) and my fiancé got the birria tacos! He'd never had birria before and instantly fell in love, he said he will never see tacos the same again. The inside has ample seating, a salad bar for toppings and a salsa bar too (we tried two and both were great). Very casual vibes which was exactly what we wanted for dinner that evening. The people were super sweet, it's a walk up order situation so you go to the counter and put in your order. They then call out your number in Spanish and English which is super accommodating! Saw this place recommended on a FB page and OMG how have I not known about it before now??? Good sized restaurant that had a line of 15 people at lunch on a Wednesday. I ordered carry out which was the birria pizza with a side of consome dipping sauce, chips, and queso. The birria was absolutely amazing. The beef was tender and flavorful. The crust had a little crunch and when dipped in the consome it was a party in my mouth. I will most certainly be going back to try the whole menu!! read more

Yummy tacos. Honestly I'd been going to the Smyrna location for over a decade but kinda "discovered" the Kennesaw location in the last few months. Tacos are cheap and pretty authentic (so not like "American" tacos). These tacos would come with cilantro and onions. I also loooove tortas. Their tortas aren't the BEST I've ever had but they are pretty good. I get them as much as I get tacos. Birria tacos are the new "it" thing and they are pretty tasty but bit pricey. I still buy em though bc... Well... they taste good lol. This location is bigger than the Smyrna location so sometimes I will dine in. The people working are really nice and are always willing to help me with my Spanish which I love. Definitely try this out. Oh! This location is a pale imitation of the Cobb County locale. The chicken in the Taquitos was dry and tough and the toppings sparse. Hubby felt similarly about his burrito. I'm not sure what the issue may be; however, given what was served, I won't return. Visit the Cobb County location and you'll notice a marked difference in quality. read more

I ordered the Pizza Birria and it was so good! You definitely get your money's worth because it takes up a whole pizza box and it's full of meat. If you don't have a massive appetite, I would suggest that you split the order with someone else. The meat was very juicy, tender, and flavorful. I asked for an additional ToGo box and the Lady included one along with the Uber Eats order. That was super nice! Amazing authentic tacos that remind of Southern California! And priced right as well. No frills, no gimmicks, just great street tacos. I came here in a random weekday around 4pm and found myself with business people getting off work, construction workers taking a break before getting back to the site, families eating an early dinner. I will say the tacos al pastor and chicken tacos here were better than the others. The salsa is now all in individual containers for safety. The flip side is that when I went, I was a little concerned about the lack of social distancing and safe measures by patrons and some staff members. All in all, very impressed, and maybe can get to 5 stars once they can make their customers feel more comfortable and safe in their establishment. read more

My absolute favorite taco place! I get a taco plate & two extra tacos for under $12! It's such a great deal. I've tried the asada, shrimp, carnitas, and pastor tacos. They are all so delicious and authentic. I love that they have pre-made salsa cups out for customers to just pick up with their orders. There's plenty of parking. The customer service is amazing. Great new taco place on 41. I went by myself to try it out after reading the other yelp reviews and it was really good. This is a authentic Mexican style taco stand, but in a restaurant with seating. I went with the taco special. What a great value. 3 street style tacos with rice, beans, and a can of soda for less than 6 bucks. You can't beat that. I went pretty tame with one chicken, one steak, and one pork, but they have a wild variety of tacos including tripe and tongue, lamb and fish, and of course chorizo. The target customer and the staff do not speak English as a first language. But that does not mean we (English only speakers) are not welcomed. I felt very welcomed and at home. If you are from south of the border you will like this place, but so will anyone who wants authentic street food. So why not 5 stars? Well parking is ample, but it can be hard to get in here. If you are traveling south on 41 it's easy, but if you are going north you will have to go down to Mack Dobbs and do a U turn. My pork taco also had some cartilage in it.
