Terrible experience today! We come here 3-4 times per week, we are long time repeat customers. Today our order was wrong. Spent 10 minutes driving here, 10 minutes driving back home with the food, and 10 minutes coming back to get it fixed. They act like they're doing a favor by remaking it correctly, not to mention the smug, patronizing attitude I was thrown. Treat your customers better and check that the order is correct before sending us home with it. If a customer has a valid reason to be unhappy with the experience, understand it and treat them nicely. Long, long time customers...not any more. I'm sure we don't matter to "The Habit", but people should still know so this review was necessary. Unacceptable. read more

Upon entering this glorified fast food burger joint we were greeted at the counter by a very nice person who took our order. I ordered a burger with extra patty. The food was pretty decent and the facility was very clean. The downfall was the fairly small burger patty that you get for a pretty high price. The burger would have been great if the burger was actually thick enough to taste. A small soda was over 3 bucks. At 6 PM it was virtually a ghost town inside and not many in the drive up either. I kind of like the place but for the price I think you can do better. I think the quality is good and the service staff is excellent. Its the prices that are hurting this business. The burgers and fries at The Habit were a pleasant surprise. They are definitely a step up from well-known fast food franchises. The meat on the burgers is juicy and they have lettuce and tomato on them. The fries were very hot and perfectly cooked, which indicates to me that they haven't been sitting in an unheated area. We did the drive thru option this evening. There wasn't a line like there have been in the past few months when we've driven by. We purchased the #1, #4, and #6, and an order of onion rings. The gal at the drive-thru speaker and window was phenomal! I believe her name was Cante, she was super helpful, professional, and everything else that the person at the window should be. Remarkable! The burgers were fabulous! The fries and the onion rings had a little more salt on them than what I'm used to, but having never been here before, I don't know what the norm is. Overall, great food, great people working there. *edited - it's a rare experience to rate a restaurant for the first time and get a reply from the business thanking me for the rating I gave them. The Habbit this evening relied to my rating of a 4 star and hoped to give me a 5 star on my next visit. The Habbit, this review has been changed to a 5 star rating. It has been years since I have found a more delicious hamburger in this town. It's unfortunate that they're so darn tasty because I don't want to gain weight again because I can already see myself eating at this place three times a week. Ugh. We've ordered from this place twice now since they opened and I'm not impressed. The first time we ordered from them was back at the end of April 2021. I ordered online for curbside pickup so I could grab it on my way home from work. Everything was ready nearly at the time they said it would be and everything was correct; however, the food was a major disappointment. The buns seemed to have been microwaved or were stale, and then they appeared to have been burned on a grill or in a toaster. The edges of the bottom buns were slightly blackened and hard. The burgers themselves weren't overly warm and the fries seemed to have been sitting out for a while and didn't appear freshly made. We went again today (May 20, 2021) but this time decided to go through the drive-thru. That was a terrible idea. We entered the line at 5:54 P.M. and didn't drive away with our food until 6:33 P.M. I have no idea what took them so long, but they clearly have efficiency problems. There were approximately 9-10 cars ahead of us, but there's no way it should have taken nearly 40 minutes to go through the drive-thru. On top of that, the food was yet again not very hot. We tried the fries as soon as we left the drive-thru and they were only warm and a bit soggy. The burgers looked nicely made, but they too weren't very hot. And, again, some of the bottom buns were hard and black around the edges. At least the lady at the drive-thru window was super friendly. read more

The flavor of the burgers and fries was pretty good, especially for a fast food joint, but our food was barely warm which made the overall experience just okay. We went through the drive through and there were 4 cars in front of us. It didn't take very long for us to place our order then get to the window to pick up our food. When we got to the window, we paid and waited a few minutes to get our order. The smell that filled the car was wonderful, and we were really excited to get home to try it. After a five-seven minute drive home, we sat down at the table and prepared to devour our food. First, I tried the fries. They were pretty good, but I was disappointed because they were barely warmer than room temperature. My husband and I like to share food, so he cut his burger in half (mine was already halved) and we started with his teriyaki burger. We both agreed that the burger was good, but, again, it was room temperature. Thinking that maybe he just got unlucky with the burger and the fries were just a fluke, we moved in to try my Santa Barbara burger. Yet again, the burger was cold, but, to our dismay, this one was even colder than the fries and the previous burger. Needless to say, we were very disappointed, especially considering we paid $21 for barely room temperature food. That said, we both agreed that were the food warmer, it probably would have been worth 5 stars. The worst part is that we waited for a few minutes for our order at the window after we paid. I have no idea what we were waiting for since it clearly wasn't for the food to get done. Who knows, we may give it another try one day. If we do, I'll update the review. read more

This has been open for years now, and they should have their act together. I have NEVER gotten what I asked for, and I have given them several tries now. Tonight's salad was supposed to have greens, cilantro, ranch, red onions, bbq sauce and bacon. I asked for extra ranch. I got no onions, no cilantro, no dressing, a bowl full of iceberg lettuce cores and exactly 7 little pieces of chicken. Last time, I asked for ketchup, mustard, no mayo and no lettuce on my burger. I got no ketchup, no mustard, lettuce, and enough mayo that it was slipping out the sides of the bun. It's a hamburger joint-what is so hard about this? Tried today for the first time and it was as expected! Had heard good things and was eager to try. Service was surprisingly pleasant which you typically don't get from a fast food place. The crew was hustling as there were a lot of hungry patrons waiting. Seemed to be much more organized and efficient compared to other "burger" joints. But don't be mistaken...these burgers are far above a fast food burger! We ordered the Double Char with Cheese and Portobello Char, and fries. The burgers were better than most sit down restaurants. And the fries tasted fresh and cut in house. There was not one dissapointing thing about our vist. The restaurant was also very clean and we observed several employees minting the cleanliness. There are two girls specifically that work there who im not sure if any of them are managers that are amazing! So welcoming, friendly, and a different vibe when you go there. However if you get the Hispanic older lady or the girl w long hair n glasses avoid the location bc they are not friendly but smug. Made me uncomfortable even when I attempted to joke. Overheard the girl speak in Spanish not thinking I know Spanish but I do. Very in appropriate to say the least. The food when the first two girls work are happy n food comes out close to perfection. Always used to go here cause there burgers are delicious. We went a few weeks back and got the family bundle and were very disappointed cause the food took forever to come out and when we got home our burgers were cold soggy and tasteless like it sat there a while. Worse experience and won't go back don't waste your money! I also tried to call management and didn't get no answer they just directed me to there website. This is an update from my visit last year after this location opened. We were emailed 4 Char tickets from corporate wanting to give us a second opportunity to try this establishment out. We were very pleased with the quality of food, fresh veggies on our burger. Tasted great! The fries were a little cold but good. The gal that took our order was very nice and professional. Prior to Covid 19 I really enjoyed The Habit Burger Grill. The pasted two visit the food quality and preparation have been awful. I have requested my burger well done and each time they are rare. I have had better food at McDonalds and for far less money. They have lost me permanently as a customer. They will not pick up the phone and there is no direct way to lodge a complaint.
