i have to give them a 5 star due to how kindly and patiently they handled my situation, i ended up not being able to make my stay due to a medical emergency i had made my booking through priceline and ended up having to cancel, and both the hotel and priceline were kind enough to issue a refund, for which i'm forever grateful. the problem was that via priceline there were actually 2 separate booking companies involved (agoda and webbed) and while agoda were kind enough to agree to the refund, webbed was making it very difficult and not communicating with the hotel etc. there were many many calls and correspondence between the three cooperating parties but again, webbed making it difficult, but the entire time everyone at the hotel from the front desk to management was so kind and patient. can't thank them enough! next time i'm in the area, larkspur landing will absolutely be my #1 choice to stay at! read more

On top of all of this I go to use the bathroom and it doesn't even looked like it was cleaned! Straight up bare minimum below par experience. I will never stay here at this location ever again. Mind you it did get bad in here during Covid but then it got better again. Well idk if it's new ownership or what cause they also asked for my number and email like what you need that info for I already paid with hotels.com! You have an option of a queen bed with pullout sofa, living room, dining room, and kitchen in or two queen beds bedroom with a large bathroom and attached eating area pull out so fun TV. What a dump. The review is to save someone from making the same $300/nt mistake. I agree with the poor reviews. If you want your kid to fall out of a 3rd story window by the elevators (wide open, no screen), if you're looking to cash in on a trip and fall lawsuit in one of the many carpet tears or the running mound of carpet in the middle the hallways or duct tape at the seams, or if you enjoy nausea from powerful cinnamon air "freshener," then this place is for you!! I overheard an employee answer a guest's question about an alarm in the lobby, "Oh it's from water dripping onto an electrical panel." The elevator permits are expired. We bought a blowup mattress because the pullout bed was a flat springy hot mess. The wall AC froze out our son on the couch so we went without AC in the room and died. They brought a fan to us at 1am without a front guard and I didn't know until it clipped my finger. You can't make this stuff up LOL! But they do have warm cookies to make up for it. read more

0/5 if I could. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I would not recommend staying here. Throughout our stay, other guests brought strippers from across the street into the hotel and had extremely loud, aggressive intercourse all night while blasting music. We called the front desk four separate times, and each time we were told there was "nothing they could do" about the situation other than asking them to turn the music down. Police were called to the property twice within a single week, which says a lot about the environment here. The front desk staff were consistently rude and dismissive. When we checked out, we were met with nothing but attitude, as if we hadn't just given this hotel a full week of business. Safety was also a major concern. There were unleashed dogs roaming the hallways, and there was even a dog fight on the top level during our stay. The parking lot felt extremely sketchy, with suspicious cars lingering. At one point, we witnessed a couple fighting in the parking lot, and the man drove off with the woman on the hood of the car. The entire property smells strongly of smoke and cigarettes. To make matters worse, when we first arrived, there was a used toothpaste tube left on the bedroom floor from the previous guest, which clearly shows the room was not properly cleaned. Between the noise, lack of safety, poor cleanliness, and unprofessional staff, this place was completely unacceptable. Save your money and stay somewhere else. read more

I wrote my review elsewhere but I think I'll start using Yelp more. I would recommend this hotel because the staff was welcoming, the location is quiet enough for rest, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I was able to work without noises or distraction. Breakfast was okay but doable. The shuttle is free and you do have to call them to come get you. Pro tip: the hotel is out in the boonies so I'd suggest catching the shuttle to the airport and ride the rails into Seattle if you want to venture into the city. Last shuttle is around 10 something. Laundry is free so you can either DoorDash some detergent, run out and buy some or go to the front desk to purchase. read more

Yikes, this place was unclean and dodgy. The worst part of the experience was reserving a room with a king size bed, only to find out when we arrived that it was no longer available because they had overbooked it. Who overbooks anything in 2025? Breakfast was also disappointing, offering only store bought cereal and preserved eggs labeled with suspiciously high expiration dates. The positives, airport pick up and free shuttle within 5 minutes to restaurants. Two bedroom for 4 travelers is a nice setup. Negatives, morning breakfast is a joke. To tell us they are running liw and only have old stale cereal, small selection of yogurt and bagels. Nothing else. Booked for 4 people yet only had linens for one bed and towels for two people. Got extra towels but was like pulling teeth to get full linen and comforter for pull out sofa even though they knew we had 4 people. Ac is in the main room but not in the bedroom. Had to leave door open to get some ac which is inconvenient since 2 people sleep in main room while two others sleep in bedroom, no privacy if you want ac or heat during winter. Poor design. There is a vent fan with a switch on the wall but it doesn't work. Property is very dated and has a musty smell. Only one elevator works and jumps when using it. Don't feel safe in elevator. Booked with hotels.com for a reasonable amount although given that we expected slightly better for the price we over payed for what we got. I cannot recommend this hotel. read more

First of all hotel looks run down like its not taken care off. Second staff was very rude mostly the manager went to go ask what the latest check out was, and told the manager we were told by previous front dest worker that the latest check out was at 2 and she gave us an attitude and told us that would be another day charge and that she knows the rules because she was the manager. When we got to the hotel the tiles on the floor are coming off and the carpet is very dirty looks like cum stains on the carpet and had no housekeeping after telling them many times. Bed sheets were dirty and room very dusty. Would not recommend this hotel for a long stay maybe a night and no more than 2. Hopefully this can make it up to the owner. read more

This is my third and last stay at this place. I wouldn't stay there again if it were free. DIRTY, roach infested dump, "free" amenities that don't exist, third year in a row that free coffee as promised wasn't available. I showed the front desk person photos of roaches in my room and elsewhere, she said that she would tell the housekeepers about it, great, I will also tell my cat about it when I get home too. Carpet and paint literally falling apart, sloppy duct tape repairs on things like the ripped carpet. Overflowing, horrible smelling trash. A nice hotel 20 min from Seattle. Chose this hotel for the reviews, free breakfast, central to where we wanted to travel to and the price. The hotel seems to be in the back and not visible to the freeway. The registration desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is kinda outdated. It even smelled it. The room we got was decent for 5 people that had two queen beds and a sofa bed. You will get extra beddings for the one that stays on the sofa bed from the front desk. Pillows are too soft for me I sank in the pillow and it was small. It wasn't even a standard size pillow. The bathroom was pretty big. Enough towels for four so you have to ask for extra. Our room was right above the registration desk area so the window we had was right in front with structure building crosses so our view of outside was minimal. The room was clean. It had a good size kitchen with dining table. The walls and carpet was old and this is why I also say it's outdated. It's nice looking hotel from the outside and for some reason the hotel gets really packed with people as this location is popular for people waiting to get on their boat cruise ships. We are here for a weeks stay. It seems like most folks are here for the night catching a cruise the next day or just getting off the boat. Meaning there is a lot of competing activity at this hotel. There are few food options near by but the hotel across the parking lot has a hot breakfast buffet for $15.00/ person. The concept of the hotel is good but the maintenance is lacking. The rooms are clean but dated. House keeping will only attend your room once a week you get to select the day. Hall carpets were wrinkled and dirty. The hand sanitizer was empty with splatters on the wall and floor. The elevator floors were duck taped or missing linoleum. Most of the staff were kind and helpful especially the transport drivers. The check in staff were cold and lacked training or efficiency. But surprised us occasionally with being very helpful. For some interaction they had to check with someone. I will say that when the phones at the hotel went out we were able to contact a sister hotel they got through to our hotel and sent transport around. The next day We request pick up from the train station and were told it was three hour wait cuz they were dropping someone off. We just jumped in when the other passengers got out. We heard horror stories from other guests who had to wait hours for a pick up. Have Uber or lift available on your phone. Others suggested taking the light rail train to the airport were there a lot of taxis. read more

Stayed here twice in October. This hotel was so much nicer 20 years ago when I had last stayed here. It's gone really downhill. The free breakfast was only cold cereal, rotten oranges one morning, and yogurt. In the hallways and in the rooms, there were major stains in the carpet, crazy scratches in the paint and doors, and lumpy couches. Elevator was crazy slow. Front desk was nice. read more

We wanted to get clean towels and were told we had to wait an hour to get them. A little mind blowing as the hotel isn't full and there are no clean towels to be found?!!! It ruined our morning plans. Also, the complimentary breakfast is centered around cups of cold cereal, which is fine except when they run out of milk completely, which they did. No plans to get more milk. It's like there's new management or something and this place is literally falling apart, unable to provide the basics - clean towels and milk for cereal. I booked 1 suite here for 2 night, in the picture room looks very nice, actually the room is very old and smell, all the furniture, bed are very old. The sofa bed is so un-comfortable. I tried to use the stove but it shorted out, because it is too old, I told the front desk, they said they will send someone, but no one show up. House keepers are lazy, they don't even come in to change towels, replace bedding. I went to ask the front desk, she told me they only clean once a week. Don't trust what they post in their website. Mediocre extended stay hotel in an odd pocket of town. It's easy to get to this hotel by car, good location, but there are only other hotels and a strip club in easy walking distance, so be prepared to rideshare or have a car. Common areas were clean. Room was clean. Some surface wear and tear on room counters. If you want any of the advertised amenities call first. There was no airport shuttle, which was still advertised. Rooms were not cleaned without requesting, which was not clear at checkin. Staff was friendly and seemed busy, but happy to help. read more

Larkspur Landing has been on what we call "Fire Watch" for months while they await the arrival of parts to repair their system. Fire Watch involves round the clock physical patrols, with the people doing the patrols acting in place of the fire alarm system to ensure guest safety. Also, note that their sprinkler system has continued to be in working order. I paid for a room for 4 people and this is an extended stay location. When we got to the room there's a kitchenette, but only 1 office chair to sit in. Tried to get a couple folding chairs or something like it, nothing available. No game night like we planned. Only 3 bath towels--had to go back downstairs to the lobby to get one. Just decided to check the fold out couch, of course, no bedding on the bed or in the closet. Final got thru to the front desk, I had to go back down 3 floors and pick up the bedding, then make the bed. On top of that, someone left the tub in a room on, which flooded and cause the fire alarm to go off. Water had to be shut off. There is no manager on site, (after the alarm going off and no water for the last hour.) Additionally the tech to fix the system won't be here for awhile. Just a very poor way to run a hotel. I travel a lot and only 1 other time in the last 20 years has my room not been ready or not what I paid for. read more

A great place to stay if you need a long term stay, have pets or children. The suites come with a full kitchen and a large living area. The front desk and housekeeping have been really helpful to me, plus others I observed asking for assistance. Their van driver takes a special interest in her guests and makes sure everything is ok. Heads up, there is only one van, so you might have a 30-45 minute wait at airport. It is close enough you can take a cab or Uber if you don't want to wait. They have a decent breakfast, hardboiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, bagels, cereal and fruit. Normally there is cold water to drink and coffee and hot water. The place is a little run down on the outside, but the rooms are all modern. The thermometer to control the AC is behind one of the bedside lamps. Only minor irritation was that the coffee and hot water were at times luke warm and the drinking water ran out. I enjoyed my stay here, was convenient and you feel at home here. read more

The staff at this hotel is very poorly trained and generally incompetent. My elderly mother made reservations for two nights during the heat wave. We found out today that the person making the reservation only reserved her for one night and did not give her any kind of confirmation number. It took them forever to even find her reservation using her name. When she made the reservation, my poor mother assumed the person knew what they were doing and trusted them to do it right. She is definitely from a different generation when people were educated and trained properly to do their jobs. She's not used to this new age when corporations like this throw a few pennies at whomever they can drag in off the street, and then toss them into jobs with zero training and no evaluation as to competence. When I called trying to fix the situation, at first someone would answer and hang up, answer and hang up, over and over. It took me five calls to reach someone. When I finally got a person, She just said "Hello?" She didn't say the name of the hotel or anything else informative. I asked about the hangups and she said she was working the front desk, so I guess that was her way of handling calls when she was busy. It never occurred to her to answer and ask the caller to hold. When I tried to get info on my mother's reservation she could only say "I'm sorry, I'm only a trainee." Those were the only words she knows how to say. I'm guessing she might be the same person who made the reservation in the first place and had no idea how to do it. I have no idea why they're letting someone like that do anything in the hotel other than clean rooms. If you are forced to stay here, you need to assume you're talking to someone who has no training and no idea what the job entails, so by all means DEMAND that you get a confirmation number when you call (any other hotel would provide it without prompting). DEMAND that they take down your email and send you written confirmation of your reservation. Demand that they repeat everything that they just entered in to the computer, including check-in and check-out dates and the spelling of your name. Talk to them like they are five years old. Do not trust that anyone working there has any idea what they're doing. I'm kind of terrified as to the experience my mother will have when she arrives. Do they know how to clean rooms? Do they know how to help elderly customers? Do they know how to find a room key? I'm skeptical. read more

Has not been updated since it's been opened. Minimal housekeeping. Garbage bags up and down the hallways. No one mentioned you have to give 24 hr notice if you want housekeeping. All shampoo, soap dispensers empty. No one on staff to fill it and I'm sure as hell not going down to get it, and refill myself. Avoid this place. I feel ripped off read more

We will give 5 star mainly for the staff, from the beginning: our shuttle driver Kawana was awesome she gave instructions on how and where to take the light rail. Darian was awesome she was very helpful during the whole stay. And last, Rebecca the other shuttle driver, was a blast! she was so funny, taking us to our destinations and also giving us pointers on where to go and what to see. The third shuttle driver he was awesome as well, we love the fact they were very personable! We are still giving a 5 star, even though, one draw back was there was occupants above us that had a child running all throughout the night which was sometimes hard to sleep, but we are not complainers so we made the best of it! read more

Larkspur is tucked away behind a bunch of tall trees, in the midst of a bunch of car dealerships, businesses, and other hotels. At first glance, the hotel is quite cute and charming on the outside - I would liken it to a log cabin type of homey feel. The parking lot is small, but there's plenty of parking for all their patrons, since the hotel itself isn't very big. Upon entering, the lobby is very well kept and they have a nice business center for lounging and discussing. Unfortunately, the rooms don't quite live up to the standards of your typical 4-star hotel. Then again, I'm not exactly sure what this hotel would be considered anyway. Perhaps it's more like a 3-star to begin with? Either way, the whole experience here definitely left much to be desired. First, they have this environmental initiative going on. Don't get me wrong - I'm not hating on being green or protecting the earth's resources. However, they kind of take this to an extreme, which is evident in how infrequently they clean their rooms. My bed was pretty much never made (even after I left the card, indicating that I would still like for it to be cleaned) and the sheets were always dirty. The sink was always wet and most of the time, the room just looked really disheveled. Second, the rooms themselves had a really odd set-up. I understand this is more of like a long-term stay type place, so each of the rooms have kitchens...but the set-up just doesn't seem to flow, so I was literally working off my laptop INSIDE the kitchen. Kinda strange. Third, the internet is extremely slow here. I had a really difficult time getting anything done because it kept wigging out on me. Fourth, there was constantly no one at the front desk. I had to walk by several times before finally tracking someone down to purchase a few toiletries I forgot to bring with me. On top of that, a lot of the employees seemed a bit weird and unhelpful. Maria at the front desk was really sweet, but besides her, everyone else was a bit cold. Fifth, the bathtub water wouldn't drain in my hotel room, so I had to switch rooms, which was a pain! And the staff didn't even offer to help me move my luggage, so I had to drag it all myself. On the upside, I do like how they offer a complimentary breakfast every morning, which is pretty decent. They also periodically put warm cookies out throughout the day. Clean rooms with a full kitchen and a table with a white board for business people. Given how expensive most rooms in the Seattle area are this is a great value. Our room had two Queen size beds in a separate room with a living room that had a pull out sofa. This is great for traveling families, free wifi as well. This was definitely a wonderful place to stay at during my boyfriend and my stay here. My only gripe is the breakfast which was mostly cold and the only "hot" breakfast is if you toast the bread/bagel. The front desk staff was all very nice and their cookies from 5-9 were definitely a highlight of our stay. Even the cleaning staff was great because one guy saw us looking at the closed fridge but offered to open it for us so we could grab a yogurt. When they didn't have the flavour we wanted, he went to the bigger fridge where they stored everything to get us what we wanted. I think that truly is above and beyond what they needed to do. Also, the washing machine + dryers are complimentary. Absolutely no complaints about my stay here - aside from the breakfast options. read more
