I made a mistake in my booking and needed a place to stay near SEA-TAC. While not exactly close to SEA-TAC, the rate was very reasonable. The Element is a short walk to stores, Costco, and the US Post Office. The front desk person was amazing. Very friendly and courteous. The bartender was also very friendly and personable. I did order Uber Eats and enjoyed my Din Fung in the lobby. The room was very cozy and I slept well which is saying something. NOTE: There is no shuttle to SEA-TAC - Uber mid morning on a Saturday is going to be about $18.00

The experience was fantastic, with ONE glaring flaw... they have NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE. Very disappointing, especially since including "Sea-Tac Airport" in the description could easily lead anyone to assume they do. Pretty clear that every other hotel in the area has a shuttle, so why wouldn't they? That said, it's really hard to rate them lower because the experience was great otherwise. Front desk folks were fantastic and patient with our questions. The lobby area and amenities were really impressive. Bar was great about being flexible with our order and had a decent beer selection. The saltwater pool and hot tub looked really nice and fun - but too much going on to try them out unfortunately in our one-night stay. As for the room, the king suite with the kitchenette was really NICE. Great layout - felt really modern and spacious. Fully stocked kitchenette had everything you needed to actually cook food and eat it, plus wash the dishes after and store your leftovers in the fridge. The bar-style table across from the kitchenette provided some nice extra seating, but with the couch and desk you had plenty! Bathroom was nice and also felt modern. Bed was comfortable but maybe a little too soft. Nice selection of outlets by both sides of the bed and throughout the room. If they reconsider providing a shuttle, I would 100% stay again, otherwise, ride share and taxis are JUUUUSST a bit to expensive to justify, unfortunately.

Check in at 2330 with no snafu's!! Very cordial and offered information on coffee, tea and breakfast hours. We asked for an adjoining room and they accommodated. One of the rooms had a large separate bedroom -a full kitchen and a sleeper sofa bed. The adjoining room had 2 Queen beds-a kitchen and sleeper sofa. It also had a small office area. We all wished each other a Merry Christmas and chose our beds and went to sleep. The bedding was high quality and very comfortable! Everything in both rooms was clean and neat. The bathrooms were spotless. Breakfast was to close at 930 so a couple of us got up and went down to make plates so we could have breakfast upstairs. This breakfast was quite impressive! Fruits, (including berries) juices, cereals, sausage, gravy, biscuits, eggs-bacon-oatmeal, toast, pastries.... And I'm sure I missed some items. We all enjoyed eating upstairs once the boys woke up. We left a good size tip for whomever was assigned our rooms and we proceeded to shower and get dressed for the day. It was rainy and chilly in Seattle, but I was sure we would have snow when we got to our final destination!!!! We would definitely recommend element Seattle SeaTac airport location !!!!

Gold Elite means nothing here! Requesting a late checkout the night before is not acceptable. Door knob in hallway is partially open and unsafe. Hallway is filled with dirty linens and garbage; at 9:00pm. When I requested to cancel my reservation the "manager" said he would charge me for a late cancellation. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

The hotel is a great place to stay. There are a lot of shops around the area. The hotel is clean has a pool and a gym and breakfast is served daily! The staff is amazing specially Christopher who was super friendly and helpful. Thank you to the staff who was responsible for preparing the breakfast! I appreciate your hard work! Everyone made our stay very enjoyable.

This hotel is top notch when it comes to manipulation. If you write a bad review on the flaws they will find little petty ways to try to harass you. They are liars and will "blacklist" guest after they leave just because their staff is unprofessional. They charge for excessive cleaning because they have to do their jobs. We stayed here for nearly 3 months and everyday they were looking for reasons to harass my family; from moving our car at 10pm or using paper plates. (They like to hide and be actors when the owner comes around- hiding all the disposable cups and plates)- it's there everyday literally except when the owner comes around to patrol. I was told that I couldn't extend my stay because of the rooms being booked out but when the company called to ask why even though it shows that there's availability; they stated that the General manager had denied our stay and will cancel it. Kevin is full of crap and went into hiding mode when I called to ask why; they said he call back but never did. It's such a petty thing to do that I have to move my family around multiple times after so long.

Snacks in the lobby. I didn't ask, but I presume they are for purchase

DO not stay at this hotel. The customer service is terrible. They claim to have "glitches" in their billing service and it could cost you.

You have to use key card for lobby door?

We arrived at 11:30 PM on Christmas Eve and we did not have to use any kind of a card to get into the lobby. In fact, it was open for registration which we did.

There's only a small area for parking in front of the hotel and it's also the spot for Valet. You'll likely have to post up in the travel lane to check in or drop off your car. The hotel has some unique amenities but I wasn't able to use them for such a short stay. The King corner room far exceeded my expectations. It's spacious and felt pretty luxurious. The star of the room is the soaking tub. It's deep and the water is hot. I especially liked that there's a separate shower. The workspace is nice and there are plenty of plugs for everything. The Nespresso comes stocked and is free to use. The mini bar, not so much, and it's pretty pricy. The bed. THE BED! If I could have brought it home with me I would have. It's lush and it smelled good. Like fresh dryer sheets good. I don't think I've ever said that about a hotel bed before. If you need a firm bed you won't like this one. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but when I did it was pleasant. I am definitely staying here again.

The staff was friendly, but not exceptional. Rooms are clean, and comfortable, but for the room night cost, I've had much better experiences for the same money. One stand out is the gentleman at Rosebay craft cocktails serving wine at the 3 o'clock hour. He was exceptional.

I had a great stay at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown and would definitely consider staying here…read moreagain. I booked it partly because it's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, so I could earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. That was a huge plus since I was visiting during the World Cup and hotel prices were absolutely wild: close to $800 a night if I had paid out of pocket! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There was a bellman opening the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and it was always easy to grab an Uber right outside the hotel. One feature I really liked was the little pantry in the lobby. It's basically a self-service convenience store stocked with local candy, snacks, wine, beer, and other treats. You scan everything yourself and can charge it directly to your room, which was super convenient. We used our HHonors stay credit to buy a small bottle of Washington State wine and some local chocolates. The hotel has a really fun music theme throughout, and the design is modern with a Scandinavian-inspired feel. As a Gen Xer, I thought the vibe was just plain cool without trying too hard. Our standard King room had huge windows, a spacious sitting area, and clean, minimalist European-style décor that felt fresh and comfortable. The hotel itself was also surprisingly quiet despite being located in an urban area, so we slept really well. The only disappointment was our view. It wasn't much to look at. I was secretly hoping for an upgrade, but no luck. Not a deal breaker, just a minor letdown considering one side of the hotel affords perfect views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent for sightseeing on foot. We walked to Pike Place Market in about 10 minutes, and the Space Needle was also around a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Just be prepared for Seattle's hills! They're no joke, and you'll be going up and down some very, very steep streets to get to the waterfront. There are also plenty of great restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within easy walking distance. One thing I'd mention is that while we felt comfortable during the day, after dinner around 10:45 p.m. we decided to take an Uber back from the Pike Place Market area instead of walking back to the hotel because parts of the area felt a little sketchy at night. Seattle has a very serious problem with drug users and unhoused folks, and they can get a little scary. I feel so badly for them, but I also felt a lot safer in an Uber than trying to walk back in the downtown area that late at night. The Sound is a stylish, comfortable hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a fun personality. If you're a Hilton Honors member, it's an especially solid choice when Seattle hotel prices are high.

The front desk had a room available for me a little earlier than normal check-in and had wonderful suggestions for a little snack around the hotel. The room is much more spacious than pictures can show. I really enjoyed the two separate seating areas. The window area settee was the perfect place for a snack and using my laptop to prepare for the next day. The closet has more than just two hangers, which I appreciated being able to hang the clothes that needed to be hung and steamed later. The bed was soft, but not overly so and the charging options on the nightstand helped me keep some of my electronics packed and neat. Being in Downtown Seattle, I really didn't feel like I needed a car. The Sound is situated in a great place to just walk where I needed to go. Less than five minutes away from Westlake where I could catch either the monorail or Link, was very convenient for me. I enjoy walking around to get familiar with the area I'm in and there was so much to see!!! I will be back to The Sound for my next Seattle adventure!

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years.
