The patient is an 88 yr old female with severe dental issues on a fixed income. On the initial visit they claimed that the dental work required was not covered by her insurance and the work was much needed. They stated and quoted an exorbitant price. They said that it could be paid in installments as they do the job. We gave them a down payment to start. The problem commenced when they kept giving us the run around ( 3 rescheduled appointments on their part due to the doctor would not available). The patient is not able to travel alone to keep these appointments. I called their office on behalf of the patient to speak to the office mgr. Ruben to no avail and he does not return calls. The patient since then decided to suspend any pending work because she became very nervous and was no longer comfortable with that office environment. Now they refuse to return her deposit of $520 although NO WORK was started or completed.

I specifically scheduled this appointment because I noticed a small area of buildup and wanted it properly removed. After my visit with the new dentist, I went home and found that the buildup was still there -- meaning the exact reason I came in was not addressed. What is most upsetting is that I was told my teeth looked nice, yet the dentist failed to fully address the concern I brought up. Now I am being told I need a deep cleaning, just as they have claimed in the past, while my insurance has questioned and denied it because the documentation does not support that need. I know my dental history, and I know the difference between needing routine care and being pushed toward treatment that does not match my actual condition. I even referred my coworkers to this office because I believed in the care I had received in the past. When one coworker mentioned that she also did not feel she received a proper cleaning, I chose to give this office the benefit of the doubt because I had never personally experienced an issue before. Unfortunately, after today's appointment, I can no longer say the same. I contacted the office immediately to explain my concerns. Not only was my issue not resolved, but I did not receive a call back, an apology, or even an offer to bring me back in and correct the problem. That is unacceptable and not the level of service expected from a professional healthcare office. I am requesting that this matter be properly addressed and that I receive the service I paid for. I will be contacting my insurance company to dispute this charge and report my concerns regarding the care provided. After years of loyalty and trust, this experience has completely changed my opinion of this office.

They don't even have a sign on the gate! I actually like Dr. Lublin and wish him well.
