I never felt pressured to book her for a photoshoot, but looking at the photos from her ad and talking to her, I knew I would be in good hands, so I decided to book her. Working with her was so easy from the very beginning. She's transparent on her process, and she walks you through it step by step. Her emails have so much useful information, so be sure to read them! She helps you pick outfits that are flattering for your body type, hair, nails, and makeup tips, places to shop, what to bring for your photoshoot, schedule for the day of, etc. There is no reason for someone not to have a great experience with Claire; just follow her instructions, she's been doing these shoots for a long time, and she knows what she's talking about! Upon arrival, Claire and my makeup artist (Ariel) went over my preferences, and I cannot praise Ariel enough; my hair and makeup were absolutely flawless! Claire will talk with you about the process, which made me feel more comfortable, then she'll go through the outfits to see what would work best for the shoot, and set up your wardrobe in a private room. Claire and Ariel will check your outfits and jewelry to make sure you look flawless, and your shoot begins. Don't worry about posing; Claire has a ton of poses for you and guides you on how to hit your marks. My time with them was so much fun, exciting, comfortable, and empowering. When the shoot is done, you'll have a break, so make sure to bring lunch! During this time, Claire is setting up your photos for the selection process. Again, there is no pressure to pick or discard photos from your gallery. The hardest part is declining photos because her photography is gorgeous! I couldn't believe how incredible these photos looked, and that takes a lot for me to say about myself; I have never felt so confident about my looks until seeing these photos. After the selection process, I always received an email when my prints or artwork were being shipped to me, again continuing her fantastic communication process. If you book a shoot with Claire, you're doing yourself a favor. Just be sure to read all the emails because the information is so valuable to enhance your photoshoot experience. She is great with communication, so if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask her!

I never felt pressured to buy any of their lingerie (though boy was I tempted! It is a beautiful big loft space, airy and bright. The actual room where you are photographed is luxe. You walk in and are like, seriously? Can I LIVE here? A girls boudoir heaven. Skye was my photographer and I LOVED her! She was witty, fun, kept me informed and included me in the process instead of just telling me what to do, she allowed me to play a little and to suggest ideas, too. I actually had my shoot at the Beverly Hills location and came downtown to view my photos weeks…read moreafter my actual shoot. The Beverly Hills location actually closed recently. So, day of the shoot...I bring in clothes and photo ideas because I am type A and I know what I want in my head so I came prepared or so I thought. Akilah did my hair and make up. She's as awesome. Very nice to chat with and made you feel comfortable from the very welcoming in. The hair and make up turned out perfect. My hair was beautifully curled and it turned out incredible in the photos as did my eye make up. Somehow you managed to make it look like I had false lashes on which I didn't. So, thank you for that! Next I had my pics taken with Kimber. Kimber has a way about her that makes you feel comfortable, beautiful, sexy and alive. Not only will she direct you during the shoot but she will also help with outfit suggestions, and help you work in your suggestions you came with. And she will reassure you that awesome shots were taken during that outfit gallery you had on. Flash forward weeks later when I came downtown to view the photos. First, they normally want you to view them a couple days later but they were so accommodating with me when I had to make the appointment so far in advance. I arrived late and they displayed no attitude whatsoever. I met with Hannah who showed me around, got me a water and helped me review the photos. I am more than picky so we went through these multiple times before I finally settled on my magnificent gallery. Hannah was patient with me and understood my attention to detail I made in each photo. The photos I would be proud to show off. I was so happy with this entire process. They are very clear with you during the appointment setting process to check the website and review all the information. That's your responsibility. I usually feel super awkward in front of the camera, but I was completely blown away by how incredible the photos turned out. Karen was very easy and reassuring to work with. She made the whole process feel so natural and effortless, and me confident in how I looked. Her direction made posing way less intimidating. She paid attention to every little detail, lighting, hair, makeup, even the room temperature, to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. She also had a great selection of props that really added to the shoot and allowed for a greater photo selection. I also brought a friend with me, which I saw several other boudoir photographers in OC do not allow. She assisted with hair adjustments, posing, and hyped me up the whole time, which made the experience that much better. During the photo viewing (a few days after the shoot), she went through each photo for a yes, maybe, or no, and took notes on how I would or would not like photos to be retouched. She was a very patient and detailed listener to my laundry-list of preferences. As a tip, don't forget to book well in advance of birthdays/holidays if you're doing this as a gift for your S/O. Upon contacting her, it was about a week/a few days for her soonest availability and then a few more days for editing, selecting, and a few more days to receive prints. I was in a huge rush and Karen was kind enough to rush every part of this process so I could have the photos in time for a vacation with my S/O. Overall, I could not speak more highly of Karen, her expertise, quality, and flexibility. At first I thought the make up was too heavy (I'm not used to having on a lot of make-up) but I was assured that it would look good on camera - and it did!! I trusted in them and the results were magnificent. Denise, my photographer, made me feel at ease. There was mood music and beautiful props to work with. Even though my package only included poses on one set, Denise was nice enough to do a variety of different sets and poses. She was really interested in the photography and seeing how different approaches worked with my look. She was great at guiding my posing. The pictures came out great!! She has a real keen eye.
