Of course, I had also visited hospitals quite frequently before I went to see an acupuncturist. However, hospitals have only told me the same thing over and over that there is nothing they can do except advise me to stretch or prescribe me some pain killers or a cream. It was quite frustrating for me to only have those options available. So with some doubt, I decided to visit acupuncture clinics as a last resort. I've also been to many other acupuncture clinics, but I've only been faced with disappointment. Certainly, I did see a bit of improvement here and there, but none of the clinics I went to gave me a long term relief. So after hearing so many suggestions from my colleagues, I decided to visit Dong Do Acupuncture Clinic. I was still skeptical about the whole treatment through acupuncture, but this clinic was able to help with my shoulder pains. I was finally able to see and feel real results after consistent visits. Now, I visit this clinic as a loyal client for other reasons. I soon became interested in their medicine because I have seasonal allergies in the Spring. I have heard that it was freshly brewed Chinese herbal medicine that is made from all natural ingredients. If you have allergies like me, you know what I am talking about when you have to take Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra, or Alavert, etc, everyday. Of course the pills say non drowsy and such, but I still felt uncomfortable with the idea of consuming chemically made pills everyday. So hearing about how this clinic's medicine is made from natural herbs intrigued me because there would be less or no harmful side effects to the body compared to pills. I decided to try the medicine out and sure enough, it did wonders for me. The medicine was to be heated in boiled water then poured into a cup to drink it. You can't drink water right after you take the medicine because it can be diluted inside you, and it also does taste bitter. However after exactly three days, I felt a significant difference in the amount of mucus in my sinus as well as the level of how stuffy my nose felt. Of course, there's no way to completely cure seasonal allergies, but the way I felt after consuming the medicine is quite different from taking over the counter pills. If you're also experiencing situations where your normal over the counter allergy pills aren't working out for you, I suggest you try out this clinic's medicine. I mean it doesn't hurt to try right unless you absolutely can't take any sort of bitterness. I'm sooo glad I decided to call Minor and James clinic and made an appt with her. Her clinic is at the FIRST HILL BUILDING on Minor ave and James. Parking is located across the street at the parking garage. Make sure to bring the parking stub with you up so that the receptionist can stamp it. The stamp will ensure you a parking discount. Smooth experience from start to end. No long waits in between. I didn't feel rushed or just another patient. She thoughtfully listened to all my concerns & answered all my questions. She explained everything to me thoroughly and very clearly. She thoroughly examined my walk, leg, etc. and was able to pin point the problem instead of ordering a bunch of x-rays that would cost more money. I left not just very satisfied, but I even asked her to recommend me other doctors since I was so impressed with my experience!
