I was so excited to check out their new space on Main Street and it is absolutely beautiful. The main room when you walk in has some tables and practically every board game you can think of is available to play. The next room is more kid focused with TONS of board/games, blocks and manipulatives, cars, dress up and more! My favorite aspect of the room is the table that has swings instead of chairs! It is just so fun and whimsical. There is also a chair made entirely out of stuffed animals! You can become a member of the Play Library, and they have different levels of cost to check out different numbers of items at a time. I think this would be so great for families to have fresh toys and games to play with. Even if you don't want to become a member you can stop in their storefront just to play! This is a wonderful part of our community, and we are lucky to have it!

Right in the middle of our visit, the power went out and the mall was evacuated. The associate helping us was stunning, patient, and ensured my client felt safe during the chaos, but we didn't get her name before leaving.Today (Wednesday), I called the store to get the SKU numbers for the bras so we could order them online, as it is hard for my client to travel and the sale was ending. I spoke with Claire and explained that I was trying to find the wonderful lady who assisted us right before the blackout. Claire completely refused to help me identify her or give out her name, and I had to plead with her for quite a while. It was incredibly upsetting and frustrating that she wouldn't problem-solve with me, especially since I explicitly told her this associate provided great customer service and we just needed to complete our purchase.Hoping for a better outcome, I called back a second time. Thankfully, Elizabeth answered! She immediately recognized our situation, told me her name, and came to the rescue. She located the exact items that worked perfectly for my client and gave me the info we needed. Elizabeth's genuine care is rare. Victoria's Secret management needs to heavily praise Elizabeth for her excellence and address Claire's complete lack of basic customer service." I give a five stars to elizabeth! I dread the mall in general and trying on bras is never fun for anyone I don't think. I haven't bought or tried any on in years, didn't know my size or what I wanted and I was not looking forward to finding some that worked but Elizabeth was SO unbelievably helpful and kind. She brought me so many different kinds and sizes to try on. She never once showed frustration or annoyance when I needed another size or didn't love what she brought me. She even found me as I was checking out to give me a card she had filled out with my sizes and which bras I liked so I would be able to remember in the future. In the end I left with 3 new bras and thanked her profusely for the help but I just wanted to leave this so management could also acknowledge how great she is!! Thanks again Elizabeth!

Playing lots of tennis growing up, I played in a lot of tournaments. One of my favorite clubs to go…read moreto--and not just because of its close location--was Queen City Racquet Club. It's really big, it's very nice, and they just run a great club. The club, which opened in 1971, is now known as the Queen City Racquet & Fitness Club as it added a large fitness center, which includes Nautilus machines, free weights, a cardio room, aerobics, and spinning. Queen City's 13 indoor courts is probably second to none in the area, while it's seven outdoor clay courts is great too. Both the indoor and outdoor courts are often home to many tournaments including national and top regional junior events. In 2003 they added Platform Tennis courts (see photos), which is for the Platform Tennis game that is apparently a mix between tennis and racquetball. Although I've never played, I know people who have, and they enjoyed it. Platform tennis is one of the amenities that sets this club apart from most in the area. Queen City has long had a strong tennis program for both juniors and adults. While many of the top juniors in the area now play at Harper's Point or Five Seasons, Queen City has a history of developing top players and continues to run quality programs (clinics, camps, league play, private instruction) for both juniors and adults. I've played in and watched my older brother in many tournaments at Queen City, and the only real criticism I have is the tinted windows that make it seem dark outside (which of course is an extremely minute detail). The 180,000 square foot club also has indoor courts for racquetball and squash, a gym for basketball and volleyball, and an outdoor heated Olympic size pool. Also inside around the main lobby is a great snack bar/café, rooms for ping pong and pool, and nice locker rooms too. Although there has been lots of competition from Harper's over the years, and recently Five Seasons too, the Queen City Racquet Club continues to run successfully and is a great place for tennis and a lot more.

I want to start by saying that we have actually always had great experiences at Great Wold Lodges…read moreso this is location specific to the Mason, OH. From the moment we checked in or tried to this trip has been beyond disappointing and frustrating. Check in is at 4pm, we did not gain access to our room until almost 6pm. The upgraded room we paid for apparently not available for our stay. Ok fine, they put us in another room that we had to wait almost 40 minutes for, also fine, things happen. We finally get notification that the room is ready, we go to check in again, they have assigned us the wrong room and we now wait another 40 minutes for a room to finished being cleaned and inspected. They offered us free breakfast for the inconvenience. After texting with the onsite customer service they gave us a $100 credit and offered late check out on our final day. All oft those things were great but the actual staff when spoken too in person are unable to help at all and it's just "sorry, tough luck". Fast forward to the day we had booked a deluxe cabana for the day, we go the front desk pay the almost $600 and are told to just let the server know what drinks we want in the cabana. We get to the cabana and are told there are no staff for the cabanas today. Ok first world problem, I get it, however we paid for a premium service to help accommodate our son who is having temporary mobility issues. This was to give him a sensory reprieve and assist in that need of us having to run back and forth through the park. Again this was a "sorry tough luck" from the staff. After complaining they agreed to refund a partial amount. This location is one of the busier and larger we have been to and we were excited that it had so many additional amenities. Well, it doesn't, at least none of them are staffed. Overall this was an incredibly disappointing trip especially considering the insane amount of money we paid.
