The original contractor had left horrible nail holes in the siding, other nails were sticking out, other nails still had pieces of plastic from the nail gun stuck beneath them, and the original painter had just painted over it all without fixing anything or considering how terrible it looked. There were gaps between planks that they had just slathered caulk on without sanding it. Planks had been cut with a not-sharp saw so the edges were rough. After only 3 years several planks were already coming off the walls. Kevin and Steve filled and sanded and smoothed and caulked and painted. They took a lot of care repainting my house and they did it for a very fair price. I'm so thankful that I found them! I'm no longer ashamed of the outside of my house.

Before a single drop of paint touched the walls, they spent a significant amount of time covering every single inch of my home. They used plastic and drop cloths to protect all the furniture and floors in every area. They even went the extra mile by moving big, heavy cabinets away from the walls so they could paint behind them--they didn't cut any corners! They also did an amazing job on my two decks and patio deck. On the first day, they used a power washer to clean everything thoroughly, and then they sanded down all the wood on the decks to make sure the surface was perfect. They were so careful to cover everything nearby so the paint and stains didn't get anywhere they weren't supposed to. The sub contractor who installed the medallions was an expert and took special care to execute our design. The result was a dramatically enhanced facade. Mendez provided real value.
