Picasso painting did a TERRIBLE job painting the inside of my mother in law's house ( where my husband and I live). My husband, who is the most patient and gentle person repeatedly tried to get them to fix things ( random spot of wrong sheen on the wall, not painting the trim, painting around picture holes, asking them to do the second coat that was in the bid, etc.). Everytime the job lead would ask him to identify each and every area (when there were 40+). After 5 rounds of trying to get them to do the job well and completely, we just gave up. It was so frustrating and ultimately a waste of time and money. The work they did on the cabinets, where paint had worn off is shockingly bad. To add insult to injury, they flagged my review and had it removed; saying I did not have first-hand experience. Believe me, I lived through the process, went through the house the 5+ times they said they were done (to identify the areas they messed up/failed to complete), and have to look at their shoddy work every day. read more

I used this company to paint two interiors of houses earlier this year. Poor communication to start off with, had them come back twice to get the quote correct. That should have been an indicator of the work that would be done. The work quality was poor, they told they were done on a Thursday, I went to the property the following Monday and there was blue tape everywhere, some lights were still covered with paper. Got them to come back out and finish the job. They never did do the kitchen cabinets correctly. Would Not and Will NOT recommend them. read more

Fast forward 9 years and we hired Picasso a 3rd time. tl;dr Besides doing a bang up job on the paint, showing up on time, finishing efficiently and cleaning up nicely after leaving, the team was extremely accommodating with respect to my very specific hodge-podge set of requests, and they went out of their way to save me money when they really didn't have to and I never would have known the difference. My job included all these little odds and ends (1. Only paint two exterior walls of the house, 2. Chip away the stucco to expose a cinder block retaining wall, 3. Paint several retaining walls around the house, 4. paint all around the roof since our roof was just replaced and stucco was chipped/exposed). They were very accommodating to do exactly what I asked for. I even had the job done 4 months after signing the contract (husband wanted to spread out house repairs) and they still had all the detailed notes and memory from what we talked about initially. As for saving me money, this was the strangest thing. Some how/some way (neither me nor Sasha could recall or explain) the estimate that I signed 4 months prior indicated a specific paint be used. This paint brand would cost us $1000 extra to use over Picasso's usual brand. It was called out clearly in the estimate, in bold, with a note that it was an up charge of $1000. I couldn't have missed it if I tried. I signed it with that upsell. I never asked if we could remove that customization. For all I know, I even asked for the upsell at some point. I just can't recall, nor could they since it was 4 months prior that we printed and signed the estimate. On the day our job was starting they called me to verify I really wanted that expensive paint. I didn't, I didn't care, I much preferred to save the $1000! Sasha was able to contact the team before they bought the pricey paint and saved me $1000! I was so happy! I have no idea when or why we put that addition on the estimate but they went out of their way to verify and that means the world to me. Who does that?! Right?! Great company to do business with, I stand by my 5-star review and highly recommend Picasso Painting. read more

We had the entire exterior, including partially enclosed areas, of our four unit condominium, painted. Their bid was not the cheapest and not the most expensive bid out of the 5 bids we got, we chose Picasso because we felt most comfortable with their expertise and what they offered. They more than lived up to our expectations. They used the most expensive and longest lasting Sherwin Williams exterior paint (which of course we paid for). They started ahead of their promised start date, worked every day, Monday to Saturday. They were friendly, professional and accommodating to or various needs and instructions. Fernando and Nain showed up at 8am each day. They power washed, scraped and sanded, and did both spray priming/painting and brush applications. Picasso Painting first worked on my house some years ago when they painted 13 rooms and a common area in 13 different colors. In 2017, they painted the entire outside including trim. A carpenter had replaced a large outside designer bean with unseasoned cedar - later causing endless problems, the Picasso team persisted over several months to produce a perfect result. More recently, after the installation of wood floors, Picasso painted all of the trim. I have worked with a lot of contractors and few if any have demonstrated the loyalty and commitment to ensure that the customer is satisfied. I had been putting off getting quotes for painting my rental property, mainly because of the time required to call contractors, set up times to meet with them to walk around the property, and then following up to get them to send me a quote. Picasso Painting was impressive and stood out among the other contractors. They called me the day after I did a search on Angie's List. Wow! They are also trained in and follow lead safe practices which was important to me. The paint was peeling badly and required sanding which releases lead into the air and eventually into the ground. Most paint contractors don't give me the impression that they follow the necessary precautions when dealing with lead paint, but Sergio is aware of the regulations and follows lead safe practices.
