David is a great barber, he gave me exactly what I asked for and was very knowledgeable. The shop was supposed to close at five (he turned the open sign off while I was there) but, there was a late arrival that was coming in as I was leaving and David went ahead to make him as comfortable as he'd made me! At this point it was 4:45 when she FINALLY finished cutting the persons hair in her chair. Instead of taking me right after or even coming over to apologize for running late, she took her phone and went off somewhere. That's when I got up and asked the girl at the desk why is it taking so long, she apologized and said it won't be much longer. At that point, I didn't want this stylist to cut my hair any longer. After making me wait at least 30 to 40 minutes and I don't know how much longer it would have been before she decided to finally be ready to cut my hair, I left. Completely unprofessional!! Unfortunately despite the "premium" label, this turned out to be the worst professional haircut I've ever received. My request was for a simple undercut using a #1 guard and to leave around 4-5" on top. You can see the results for yourself. Fortunately my wife is a dog groomer and was able to fix it somewhat in our hotel room using an electric beard trimmer. I also left covered in hair. Usually a barber would at least brush any loose hair off a customer before finishing. I will say that the barber was very nice and friendly but wow, the results were just embarrassing.
