First off, the service here was awesome! Some of the nicest ladies I've met. They have decent seating, on the outside it looks small but they've got plenty of tables and a bar. We stopped in for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint!! We were sat, ordered, and served in about 15 minutes. The portion of meat on my sandwich was insane!! The bread was amazing quality as well, sooooo soft. I wish we had more time to try the cocktails and desserts, we will be back!

So close, but yet so far! One of only 2 restaurants open in Topsail that evening, we were really hoping to try the menu, unfortunately not only was the bar very understaffed, the ambiance was chaotic, similar to that of a train station and the staff didn't seem to step outside their lanes to help out. After 20 minutes of standing around with no hopes of getting a drink anytime soon, it was time to go. Cheers!

Stopped in after riding horses on the beach and WOW. Had the best apple cider mimosa of my life. Followed by the most mouth watering chicken philli sub. I also grabbed some handmade tallow products they sold, love supporting small. Cute spot with a full bar and friendly service. Hands down 10/10!! The club sandwich was also delicious- did honey mustard instead of mayo and it slapped. CLEAN BATHROOM was the cherry on top.

Amazing. Pork bbq plate w/ sweet Carolina sauce, Mac & cheese was SO good. My son got a kids cheeseburger and it was incredible, I can only assume same way they do the full size menu item burger. Also I ordered a whisky on the rocks and they filled the glass 75% which is hard to find. Ice cream shop connected to the restaurant, you can combine bills (at least in the off season) everyone super accommodating, clean place. Peanut butter pie was 10/10

My son and I came down after seeing that it was open on Facebook.. lol.. we love to support local and the menu looked amazing. We were not disappointed!! We pulled in and noticed there's a good amount of outside seating. We actually walked in the wrong door first.. we entered thru ice cream store and that looked amazing but the young lady directed us to walk along hall to the restaurant. Now the restaurant has a good bit of indoor seating ! And a full bar! There were customers sitting having lunch there.. the menu has so much to offer! You can build your own sandwich, build your own burger and hot dogs too. Or you can order sandwich selections. They have side salads and fries, sweet potato fries and tater tots as sides. Everything looked very good but today we both ordered burgers..they came out perfectly cooked and had great flavor.. juicy not greasy.. my tater tots crispy outside yummy inside! They bring small cup of ketchup too and more if needed. Our waitress was Kristin and she was very helpful and friendly. Very attentive and we enjoyed her conversations with us. We did not feel rushed or ignored in any way! The entire staff acknowledged us and were very nice.. I even thanked one of the cooks and he was gracious! We will absolutely come back and enjoy another item from The menu! I

They carry a few of their beers to serve as well as wine and liquor. Ever wish you were having a cocktail at Salty Turtle while your partner was enjoying a beer? Well now you can! Hit up the cove and you can have the best of both worlds with no one compromising. The Cove is a "club" so you'll need to sign up for a membership at the bar before you can enjoy some drinks, but don't worry it's free to join! We enjoy coming here on Wednesday nights to play trivia with friends that is hosted by Meeser Eddie. My favorite drink to sip on when coming here is probably the spicy margarita. It's not on the printed menu, but you ask and your wish shall be granted! On Wednesdays they also offer $15 bottles of Prosecco. Yes you read that right $15 for a BOTTLE of Prosecco. Nothing beats coming to play trivia with friends and sharing a great bottle together. The staff here is always so friendly, it's clean, the service is fast & the cove itself provides excellent vibes. We love the cove & salty turtle so the hardest decision is usually choosing which one to go to... and sometimes we just hit up both!!

Super cool place to check out and really excited for an upcoming event I am going to at their location too!

Ribeye was the standout of the meal--tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly as ordered. We also shared the chocolate mousse, which was smooth, decadent, and the perfect finish. I think it was the special because it was almost ready for the dumpster, She said she thought the sauce tasted odd. But later her stomach wasn't feeling well I ordered the steak sandwich, And specifically asked if the steak was chopped up, As I do not like fat or gristle in the bites of my steak sub. It was large chunks of steak that the fat had not been trimmed off of there were a lot of bites that I had to simply expel onto my plate. When Kimmy our server, asked, how was the meal? I told her and she could clearly see that I did not eat most of my steak sandwich and I had spit out a lot of it. When the overpriced Bill reached our table, A tall man with a big beard came to the table and asked how was the meal? I told you him about the steak sandwich. And he asked, If we were locals I said yes we were. And he said this, Well, maybe we can take care of it the next time you're in... HE SHOULD'VE TAKEN CARE OF IT THERE AND THEN Not sure what that's really means, Since now I will never be going back. And neither should you As you read the other reviews, it is CLEARLY an overpriced menu. With overpriced drinks Just like the Owner's other "bar and grill" in Sneads Ferry Spaggia (sp)? We went there a while back and found the same thing to be true. I think they're a "couple" from New York and wanna come down here to SouthEastern, North Carolina and charge New York prices Now, I reached out to the owner the next day and never received a call back. My advice. Don't waste your time OR your money

Locals will remember this location as the former Crooked Lotus, but is now a comfy, cozy adjustment into a well stocked cocktail bar. The staff is great (ask for Sara) and the menu is a simple, yet creative blend of simple favorites and original recipes. The liquor selection isn't the world's biggest, but it is stocked with some good, above average choices that non-beginners will appreciate. There is also a good selection of wine, as well as some limited tap options (call ahead to confirm taps are flowing. Seasonal traffic impacts the flow). Whether it's a private affair, celebration of sorts, one-on-one meetings, or catching a breath after a long stretch, Centerfire is a must stop for anyone. Surf City is a Carolina BBQ joint but serves up other southern staples like fried fish and chicken. Unfortunately, I must share that due to hardships, the restaurant is closing on September 30, 2026. AMBIANCE Country vintage is the theme and it's quite homey. Dining at grandma's house. SERVICE Kristine or Kris was our servers name (hopefully I got the spelling right). She was incredible. When I say she was attentive and so down to earth, it truly made our experience wonderful. We felt so welcomed to come in and enjoy some good southern food.. FOOD I really wanted to order a seafood platter but unfortunately they were out of fried catfish and flounder so I pivoted to a different entree. - Complimentary hush puppy sticks with cool ranch: they were good. Subtly sweet, but the cool ranch balanced everything out. - Half rack of ribs: this was the entree I switched to. The pork ribs were huge, tender, and tasty. They fell right off the bone, and I really appreciated the firmness of the tendon while I cleaned my bones. I had two sides, yams and cole slaw. I enjoyed the yams more because they weren't overly sweet, and the chef really allowed the yams' natural flavors to shine. The cole slaw was tasty but nothing special. I prefer my slaw more chopped rather than big pieces. The vinegary Carolina BBQ sauce at the table was excellent. - Eggroll BBQ Pork: my SO ordered this special entree, and it was really good. Imagine a big, crispy eggroll filled with moist, tender shredded BBQ pork. It came with a really good dipping sauce, which was a mix of honey mustard and BBQ sauce. The two sides I chose were fried okra and Brunswick stew. Both were fresh and delicious. Since they're closing, the owners are selling decor and other items from the restaurant. I purchased a lovely replica of a pay phone from the late 1920s or early 1930s to take home. Additionally, the cashier was very friendly and helpful.
