Unlike anything in the area, this is serious cooking at a reasonable price. All four dishes our party had were excellent. The steak with Bearnaise sauce was done superbly; the broiled grouper was excellent. We have tried to find good seafood that is not fried - this is the first we have found. The Mac and Cheese with shrimp and crab meat was delicious, although the crab got a little lost. The shrimp and grits had perfectly-cooked shrimp, which you can find around here sometimes, but the grits were less than perfection. The service was good, although the server was filling in for the normal server, who was ill. She let us know she was a little out of practice, but she did fine. The ambiance is, well, not for a first date. Go there for the food with someone you know well, and you will get a first-rate meal for $40 - $50 per person. read more

Fusion Blue is in a little secret spot in Holly Ridge where Deli Works used to be. Plenty of seating options, high tops or not and even a bar area. The pretty wallpaper gave it a soft feel while dining. We started with some wine, they have a good selection of beer and wines. The glassware is pretty and even the lemon in the water was pretty! We both were excited to try the beef Wellington- something I had never tried before! The flaky crust was light and delicious, the beef inside was cooked to perfection! Inside was mushrooms and risotto. There were veggies on the side, but not enough in my humble opinion. Also, I felt the amount of pastry around the beef was too large. Had dinner with 10 people. Service was exceptional (by chef & family) . Shared short rib over risotto: best ever! It was Thanksgiving day, we were away from home and all the local restaurants were closed with the exception of Fusion Blue Bistro. On a day when they were preparing Thanksgiving take out meals for multiple families, thay fed us delicious burgers and were gracious about the interruption. Stunningly outstanding food & service. We had hoisin crusted tenderloin tips which was awesome. Our party also had the bang bang shrimp entree & chefs special fennel black pepper crusted tenderloin which was over the top. Also crab & cream cheese spring rolls & a huge Caesar salad with house made Caesar dressing. Best i ever had. Executive chef Chris visited with us, listened to an elderly person in our party about how her mother made a particular sauce. 5 minutes later he had made some & brought it out to her. On top of the fabulous meal, prices were very reasonable & our server Carolyn tended to every need [5 stars for Carolyn]. Got to try Fusion Blue Zones at their new location in Holly Ridge (where Deli Works used to be, just off 17) and oh my goodness! All the delicious bites we've tried from their food truck plus more offerings in a beautifully renovated space! I got the caprese burger and it was so good... perfectly cooked burger, thick slices of mozzarella and tomatoes. I should have taken a picture but this kinda burger requires two hands and your full attention! Can't wait to come back when their beer garden is open! Disappointed. Went for our anniversary but there was nothing on the menu my husband would eat. I was expecting steak to be on the menu as that is what is on the menu FEATURED on the Facebook page. When we got there, no steak on the menu. They need to keep updated menus on the website and social media. We are at low tide steak house now. We took a weekend trip to topsoil and heard amazing things about the Bridge Bash and the food trucks that attended. When looking, our options of food trucks were essentially hotdogs, burgers or this food truck which I knew nothing about. The menu had items such as: summer roll, krab roll, pork belly tacos, and more. I love trying new things and not knowing what I was getting made a pretty safe choice with the tacos. I go to many food truck events and have always had great experiences. This was not one of them. Service: so... slow. Typically, when you go to a food truck it is someone who owns their business and are very passionate about their work. The lady that took my order seemed frustrated that I would ask any questions about the menu items, even though there were no pictures. So after her answering my question sarcastically saying "it's a Vietnamese dish" I just went with the tacos. I was second in line, and I waited 40 minutes for my food. My family went and got hotdogs and burgers from other food trucks and we're finished eating by the time I got my food and finished shopping at the local vendors. So I was already frustrated getting sunburnt in a hot parking lot waiting 40 minutes for my food. If you take a look at my tacos they look like they had been sitting there the entire time waiting on me to grab them. Food: for $13 I assumed I would be getting at least four small tacos. I got two tiny, dry and bland tacos that I almost didn't eat.. but I was hungry and that was my dinner. Don't forget... I was second in line. I was very tempted to tell people behind me that they probably didn't want to order here because they wouldn't be getting their food anytime soon and it was too hot to wait for them in the parking lot with no shade. But I wanted others to have their own experience so I let it go. read more

This is a new restaurant. The food was upscale and delicious. I had the pork chops with brussel sprouts and sweet potato hash and my husband had the ribeye. Both entrees were delicious. The pork chop was as big as a steak! We ended the meal with the plantains and Ice cream.. OMG is all I got to say! It's nice to have upscale food so close to home. Food is incredible. I had the pork chops, my wife the short rib, with plantains to share as an appetizer. Along with Beach Shop and Grill, no better food anywhere on or near the island.
