The food is first rate and freshly made .I particularly love the breakfast sausage patties they serve .There are lots of good choices to try. Service is efficient and simple ,upon walking in place your order and your food is brought to your table . The ambiance of the place is a little low-key .The star of this place is the food not the atmosphere .The food's quality overshadows the atmosphere. I love their food. Good price. Nice staff. It's got a cool atmosphere. This place hasn't been consistent with hours. Frustrating because I drive out of my way to eat there. Just last week on Jan 13th or 14th..... it was 730am. The door was locked. I see someone clearly back there behind the kitchen doors. It sucks because now I don't feel like driving down anymore. I have been recommending this place to everyone too. Customers shouldn't have to call ahead of time to see if you're open during your normal hours of operation. Great food though. A successful restaurant requires consistency, and unfortunately for this business, it isn't consistent. Damn shame. read more

We had a fabulous breakfast at Deli Works! There was a sign out front with daily specials and breakfast bowls were only $8. Kim, the clerk, was super friendly, made recommendation, and was efficient. The menu is pretty flexible, you can get anything how you want it and the prices are super reasonable. They serve breakfast and lunch. Food came out quickly. I had a Southwest Breakfast Bowl with bacon and eggs over easy. It also comes with potatoes, cheese and chipotle sauce. The bowl was hearty and delicious with perfectly cooked eggs. The chipotle sauce provided a little kick. The coffee is good, too! The dining room is colorful and lively. There is a tv and restroom facilities. The strip mall has limited and tight parking. We loved this new location & the food was even better!! Have never had deli works for lunch- but highly recommend. The staff was so friendly & they bring your food out to you after you order at the counter. The food came out fast & was delicious. The kids meal offered a ton of food for a really decent price! The Mac and cheese was so good- love the cheese sauce that is on it. The inside has plenty of booth tables & a few high tops. We will be back to try more eats! read more

Everything is elevated -- the flavor, texture, the ingredients -- YUM. I absolutely love their southwest omelet with the pickled onions offering a sweet and slightly tart crunch. How has no other breakfast join thought of this?? Then there's the crispy crunchy bacon, the perfectly charred grilled chicken, the whole fresh avocado inside, the perfectly balanced creamy Southwest sauce. The wheat toast was flavorful with a nice crisp edge. This place is a GEM and most ppl are lining up at the wrong breakfast joints (which I am more than happy with). I've had this a few times before and first fell in love with the Southwest bowl which has the perfectly fried potato's offering a crunchy bite and soft pillowy inside. This place is better than most 2000+ review 4.5 star place. Service is fast and ambiance is homey/fun. At other places, the toasted bread is boring and an accessory ppl skip over but here it is a delight. read more

So good we came back a second time during our trip! Our first visit we got the breakfast casserole & French toast casserole and both were good! Our second trip we got the southwest bowl & chocolate chip pancakes and they were to die for! So much flavor in the southwest bowl without being too spicy for breakfast! The pancakes were full of chocolate chips and had such good flavor! Will definitely come back again the next time we are in Topsail! read more

The food was decent but quite salty. I had a breakfast bowl, so I cannot attest to the sandwiches, but I was disappointed in my first experience here. This area needs great food options and I guess I just didn't get what I was expecting. I will say that service was great and the cost is fair. The restaurant was busy but we managed to score a table (that I cleaned myself) and eat in. It's pretty noisy but just the busyness of the business. I will stop in again and try a sandwich next time. Hopefully I'll be able to give a better review of their deli sandwiches read more

Lovely little deli with wonderful food! All food made to order and made fresh daily. My cheeseburger was cooked to perfection with thinly sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced lettuce and the pickles were cut into little chunks, which I thought was awesome. The cheese was a warm, gooey delight. The meat was seasoned nicely and went well with the buttered and slightly toasted bun. The crinkle fries were not over cooked and had the next crunch. My sweet tea was fresh brewed, which is a must for me because that fountain stuff is awful. Please go check them out because I know we'll be back for sure! read more

I ran across this on yelp when looking for a breakfast spot while on our beach vacation. I normally go by the amount of reviews but decided to try this place. I had read where the breakfast southwest bowl was good and wanted to try it. The flavor was definitely good and prices weren't too bad either! Hubby just got a basic breakfast platter that he said was pretty good. Amazing breakfast, great value. I had a bacon egg and cheddar on the ciabatta. The bread had seasoning on it that reminded me of a sandwich I had abroad, but wasn't overpowering. I also had a sausage, egg and swiss on a bagel and that was a top 3 bagel sandwich for me. The sausage is fresh, not a frozen patty, likely from a local source (I didn't ask). Egg and swiss was perfect and their seasoning on the bagel made it all come together. I will be back many times! read more

Clean place with fast service. I enjoyed the caprese Panini and it was very flavorful. Only thing I would maybe add to it would be a bit of balsamic, but still very tasty. My mother tried the spicy Italian and stated the peppercinis added the perfect flavor to the Panini. My sons meals included a side and even a cookie! Everything came out quick and hot. When we forgot our water cups, the hostess got them for us and filled them up for us. The chef (maybe owner), came out to see how things were, which is a nice touch. This is our "go to" place for breakfast! My family loves the French Toast Casserole...absolutely delicious. Omelets are great too. We have also had lunch dine in and enjoy the quaint atmosphere.
