If you do not have Dr Larson as your orthodontist I don't recommend retainer repairs. My permanent retainer broke and I went to Dr Larson for repair. The office is nice and clean, staff is nice, but I don't feel the assistants equipped to bond retainers. I went the same day my retainer broke because I was leaving on vacation the next day. They rebond my retainer. Next thing I know I'm getting a large gap between my two front teeth. Mind you I was charged $250 for repair and a plastic retainer to wear. Well, I go back, they rebond it again, still slight gap between my teeth, next thing, it's breaks. So now, since the wire is too "thick" they want to put on one of their wires if it breaks again. Well, it broke again, AND that gap never went away. I'm so frustrated, I don't trust them to fix the problem at this point and $250 down the drain. He's probably a great orthodontist from start to finish, but I don't recommend for retainer repairs. read more

I started my Invisalign treatment here and at first I was impressed on how friendly and comfortable the team made me feel. But I'm very upset because the assistant left a VERY important fact that I had to switch out my trays every 7 days.. so not only did this delay my progress, all I got was a "sorry" on my second check up. Next time train your team better so this doesn't happen. What a waste of time ! read more

I would not recommend this orthodontist. Went there for a consult in July 2018 and were told we did not have ortho insurance but could sign up with my employer and come back. Had to wait around over 4 months for open enrollment, and another 2 months before coverage was effective. Went back only to find out this orthodontist does not even take my employers insurance to begin with. So we wasted 7 months of time not to mention now we are stuck paying for insurance for a full year that we can't even use. Our son could have been in braces and almost finished by now. My employer happens to be one of the biggest employers in Riverside. You'd think this orthodontist would know if they accept their insurance or not. So be careful and do your own research. Can't trust what they tell you. read more

Dr. Larson and his staff are great! Everyone in his office is so nice and helpful. They make you feel at home and comfortable. And most important of all, Dr. Larson listens to every request and concern I had with my smile. He made sure every issue I had with my teeth was addressed. I'm very impressed with the team at Larson's. They has some of the best customer service I have ever seen. I had braces as a kid, but my teeth moved due to not wearing my retainer. I'll start with how easy scheduling was. I was able to go in for my sons consult on the same day I called to book. I made an appointment for my son's braces to be put on a week and a half after consult however plans changed and asked to bumped it up and it was no problem. During consult the treatment plan and costs were clearly explained. My son seemed a little concerned and Dr. Larson took the time to put my son's worries to rest. He surely addressed all of our concerns. All the staff are very welcoming and kind. I also didn't hate the soft home made cookies they had at the front desk. Hope they do that often. The day came to have his braces put on. Dr. Larson's dental assistant was so thorough and so sweet to answer both mine and my six year olds questions. The whole experience makes me and my daughter want braces too. They also give incentives kids for good care of their braces. I look forward to our next appointment. read more

Be warned! This orthodontist likes to start ortho treatment way too early. Dr. Larson started my daughter on ortho treatment when she was only in 2nd grade. She had them on for a year and a half when we decided to relocate to O.C. The month before we moved Dr. Larson tells me she was finished with her ortho treatment. He takes her braces off and gives her a retainer. Her permanent teeth were still coming in! Shame on me, I wish I would have gotten a 2nd and 3rd opinion. Great staff. The new location and equipment is AMAZING! I had braces when I was younger and treatment now is much easier. Everything is digital. I am 24 and just started my Invisalign trays today. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly. I go back in two weeks to get the "buttons" put on my teeth for the remaining trays. I'm excited to start this journey here! My daughter had her braces taken off over a year ago and when she was given her retainer Dr Larson advised retainer replacements would be replaced at no charge for life in the event she miss placed or lost it. Now My daughter just recently lost her retainer and when she went to go get a replacement, she is now being told it would cost us $158....., not free as previously told. Up until now we were very pleased with this office, however, I'm really upset because if this was a special insurance/program we should've been advised that and not told it was for free...... because clearly it isn't. read more

It's 2 am and I can't sleep so why not write a review? I'm surprised there aren't more as Dr. Larson and his staff are great and I'm sure they have plenty of satisfied clients. I was recommended by a coworker to see Dr. Larson for braces and after visiting 5 other locations (this was when I had time to be very thorough!), I chose Dr. Larson's.office. His office is a little more expensive than the other places I visited but the reason why I chose him was because everything he explained to me made sense. Also, you get what you pay for with new equipment, technology, super comfy dental chairs, a flat screen tv on the ceiling so you can watch cartoons while you're getting work done (what?!) and great customer care. I was told I would have my braces in for 2.5 years but they came off after just 2. I was missing a front tooth so he used braces to straighten all of my teeth, get rid of my under bite and used springs to make space for an implant. I had a seriously messed up smile before getting any work done; Dr. Larson even joked that he'd use me to advertise his office =/ but afterwards, I had a normal smile. Lastly, you are given tokens for keeping your teeth clean that you can trade for prizes. I got a starbucks gift card and a box of crayons I ended up using with the kids I worked with before I was done. I would highly recommend Dr. Larson for anyone interested in braces. read more

Dr Larson and his team did a great job with my daughters teeth with her braces treatment. We couldn't be more satisfied, he went to extremes when she had and issue with her wires in the beginning that he was willing and able to meet us quickly on a Saturday in the office. Dr. Larson is by far the best orthodontist in this area! His philosophy and approach to treatment seems different at first however almost immediately the benefit shows. My daughter had impacted bi cuspids, thanks to dr. Larson's expand and hold method, he was able to expand her jaw slowly over time while it was still growing therefore causing her little to no discomfort as well as due to the jaw being expanded the baby teeth that we still retained fell out on their own and the impacted bi cuspid's came through all on their own and within about 6 months time. So her expander has been removed and she has phase one of her braces on now with the ball rolling. The entire staff here is awesome and helpful not to mention very friendly too and which is nice. All 3 of my kids are patients here--and we could not be happier with the service. The aesthetics of this office are top notch--so if you're going to make several trips to the ortho--choose this one. The game room is great for waiting siblings. The staff members all the way around are knowledgeable, personable, and professional.
