Checked in today. 20 year plus client with multiple policies…read more Needed proof of Rental Insurance.I I could not access acct at State Farm.com due to some glitch, so I called my agent to see if they could send a policy over to another entity that required my coverage. A guy answered the phone and could not find my account. He finally said there was a glitch with slow internet. ( I happen to live behind this agency and know they have a T-1 line). I have slow internet-and it 300 mbps. I demanded to speak to the owner. She was on another line and to her credit, she called me back. I told her the problem. she said I was covered (due to auto-renewal) to make my obligation, but nothing was sent over to make this whole because the State Farm internet was not working. My little old modem was working perfectly. Seems harmless, but now I am getting daily harassment from my rental company. Sure, I said some things, but I expect to get what I paid for in advance, not just some silly expensive holiday cards that I would choose not to get from them.

They advertise the live scan fingerprinting fee as $20.00 on the websites and actually charge customers $25.00 at the business -- $5.00 more! Also, you'd better have Exact Cash to pay. If you don't, you will likely go through what I had to go through today. When I tried get my live scan fingerprinting done this morning at Origianl Insurance Services, I didn't have exact cash but only a single $50.00 (Fifty) dollar bill on me. I first asked the agent whether I can use my debit card to pay for the live scan. She said the fee is $25.00 if paid in cash but it will be $30.00 ($5.00 extra) for using a credit card. I did not dispute the $25 since I wasn't sure whether that was the price I remember seeing on the web site. However, I didn't want to pay extra $5.00 just because I put it on my debit card. I said, "Nowhere on your business I see it says 'Cash base only' or '$5.00 extra fee for credit card usage.'" She says, "But, that's just how it is!" So, I now took out my $50.00 bill and tried to pay with it. She said, "Oh, we don't have any change!" What choice do I have now, I asked myself. So, I asked her, "So, then, what do you want me to do?" Her reply was, "You can go out and get some change and come back!" Now, I got really baffled at the quality of service I am experiencing! But, I just decided to think what I have to do next, instead of scratching my head and waste more time. First of all, I didn't know where to go out there and get changes easily without buying any merchanise and waiting in line to pay for the item just so that I get my $50.00 bill converted to smaller bills. Second, I didn't have that kind of time on my hand right now, I thought. I really had to get going for the next agenda I have on my to-do list for today. So, I resorted to just incurring that extra $5.00 and use my debit card for my time sake and get the #$*^ out of there... Oh, one more note on their service! Before leaving the business, I asked if I can have them fax the completed fingerprinting to my requester. The agent said they charge $1.00 per page. I only had One Single page to fax so I asked if she could waive that $1.00 as a curtesy, since I had to pay $5.00 extra for using my debit card. She said, "No, my boss is watching everything and he will know if I do it for you at no charge." I gave her a dollar bill. Oh, what a Great, Loyal agent Original Insurance Services has, I thought! After leaving the premises, I felt like I was just cheated and robbed in a day light. I checked the website for their fee, again. It said clearly, "$20.00". On the road to the next place on my to-do list, I just could not shake off the feeling that I had to talk to the owner -- "the boss". So, I stopped the car at a parking lot and called Original Insurance Service. I told them that the website listed their service for a fee of $20.00. The same exact agent said, "Well, you agreed to $30.00 when you were here." At that point, there was no point talking to this lady agent. I told her to have her "boss" call me and gave her my number. She said I will have to call back. Well, that's all for now... but, I want the Yelp audience to know about this type of custormer treatment at Original Insurance Services in Gardena, CA. Just Unreal, isn't it?
