We had a blast at this course. My friend and I were visiting from San Diego and simply looked up Yuma golf courses and decided to go with this one. I'm glad we did. Before I mention my first hole-on-one (not kidding) I can tell you that the rate for 18 holes and a cart was great and the course itself was a classic desert track. In other words, target golf was the objective that day. It was a bit more difficult for me for where my skill level is at but I still enjoyed it a lot. I think I shot just under 100 after losing two balls. Don't judge me. There were several really unique holes including a really high elevated green (I believe hole 10) that you have to hit up to off the fairway. My hole-in-one came on the final par 3 on the back nine with an elevated tee box. It was 173 years from the whites and the worst part was I hit my first shot OB making my only hole-in-one ever a par. Lol. My buddy found it in the hole and we filmed all of it. This course will be talked about the rest of my life for that alone. The only reason why I went with four stars instead of five was the condition of many of the fairways. There was a lot of dry patches but I'm guessing that's because it's winter time in the desert. All in all, I would come back and play for sure. Enjoy! read more

Las Barrancas Golf Course - Golf Near Me - Yuma, Arizona

This could/should be the best course in Yuma. The layout is outstanding and for years I've said if they would just put some money into it, it'd be awesome. Well I'm done waiting. It sucks. Grass on the tee boxes longer than your tee. Grass on the fairways, not! They must move the cups every week or 2 maybe. Had couple balls roll to the hole then veer off when it hit the rough around them. All around disgrace and I won't play there again if it's free. read more

Avoid this course! $60 for 18 holes. The most expensive course in Yuma out of the three public courses and in the worst shape. Not a single fairway that didn't have sand, dessert, or bare spots running through it. Greens are horrible. Will never play again, waste of money. read more

It's right off the freeway. It has a beautiful setting and they're really upgrading the facilities now very excited to see what's coming.

We visited over the Memorial Day holiday and the layout of the course was very nice and has good potential. Some fairways and areas around the greens need new grass. The greens are the best in Yuma that we've played, but they need to cut them lower to get a true roll. Overall, the course is worth what we paid ($45 w/cart @ 8am on a weekday). read more

Course is just in terrible shape right now. Greens and fairways. Not even playable. Maybe not totally their fault cause of summer but also mesa del sol and desert hills have stayed in great shape all year round. read more

4 hours agoNEW The game warden Stewart Evens rudely rushed our group even though we were it only took ys 3 hours and 45 min and we were on the 16th hole and the group behind us wasn't catching up at all. And then he racial profiled the group behind us and accused them of not paying because they were mexican and proceeded to rush them. And then at the end of the day made unexceptable comments about our kid and how we were bad parents for bringing our three year old to ride in the golf cart while we played the back 9. I have lived in this neighborhood for years and have loved this course but Stew Evens needs to be fired emediatley! read more

For the price the Course is in terrible shape. The fairways aren't cut all the way to the cart path and are full of dead grass clumps. Dead branches lying under trees. No roll and it Was tough to find the ball in the fairway! read more

By far the worst golf course I have ever golfed on! first of all, tee times are way too close to each other (very backed up), T-boxes are very tattered, fairways have numerous dirt spots and other spots are so swampy you can't even walk on it, and to top it off, no sand in the sand traps. Since when does a golf course not have sand in the sand traps? Moreover the green fees our way to expensive for such an unmaintained course! read more

Terrible experience today at driving range due to employees arrogant attitude. Demanding and condensing .

This course has its ups and downs. It's got great Mountain View's in the background, and some beautifully designed holes with hills and doglegs and a lot of risk/reward decisions. The problem with it is that it's very unforgiving. Many of the holes are adjacent to desert, so if you miss the fairway and the rough, your ball is toast. It winds up in rocks, and hard desert bushes. Also, the grass could be maintained better. You have to contend with bare spots on the fairways and even on the greens sometimes. There is a lot of wildlife too... a lot of roadrunners, jackrabbits, and occasional snakes. Some bees to contend with sometimes too. But it's probably the second best course in town, and it's a good value for the price read more
