This week I had a bit of an internal struggle between this and another truck but before you know it I was placing an order and waiting for some wings and fries.The food didn't take long to come out and once i found a seat I bit into my first wing and I have to be honest, it was a little underwhelming. The chicken itself was juicy and very tender, but the chicken itself didn't really have any sort of flavour to it. Maybe I'm missing the point, but it was just lacking that little bit of something to really make them great. The fries were seasoned and actually really good and I most certainly finished those. I will say that the servings here are definitely pretty large and the six wings and fries will leave you unable to order from a 2nd truck. Overall, J&L's BBQ Truck is solid choice for ribs, chicken, or whatever else they have cooking that day. I'll definitely be giving this truck another go and giving the pulled pork a try next time!

Take note to enter towards the rear of the truck and as you walk through you'll pay at the passenger side window. It was like a fair attraction, walking up and down the aluminum walkway clacking as you go. The have both predesigned salads and design as you go, think the Subway of salads. I selected the buffalo chicken salad and was later "amused" I was uncharged for chicken even though it was part of the salad. You can select your lettuce and toppings, including cheeses. The cherry tomatoes were served whole which I thought was odd but I kept it moving. In addition they have a good variety of dressings from rich to basic however the only dressing they didn't have was blue cheese!?!?! I enjoyed the decor and while it was spring break on campus could see it as a bustling site. The sandwich was a combination BLT and a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. The bacon was crusty, the toasted bread had a nice crunch and none of the parts overwhelmed each other. The pickle I got on the side was crisp and not overly garlicky. Definitely will go back next time I'm on campus.
