Put our 4 go to Mexican places in a hat... drew Aguacates this time! Food was great. Service was very good. Had the house made hot sauce for the first time and it was really unique but had great flavor with some kick. Clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Stopped over for a late lunch after taking a hike in Lockport with my mom. We were looking for a place to stop after and found this one Yelp. Both my mom and I enjoyed the food. Smaller dinning room, nicely decorated. They'd clearly been busy for lunch with potentially some bigger tables as there were two with a lot of bussing being needed when we first came in, but the staff got to it quickly. The waitstaff all seemed friendly, working with a sense of urgency to take care of guests and clean up. As for the food. My mom got a Speedy Gonzalez which was an enchilada and a taco, beef, and a side of rice. I got the Birria taco platter, which was 3 shredded beef tacos with cilantro and onion, along with the dipping broth and a side of rice and refried beans. We were both stuffed. and I am reminded once again, why I usually just get two tacos and a side of rice when I get tacos since 3 is just way too much lol. But the beef was tasty and tender, and I went home with a good amount of the rice and beans and half a taco with some sauce that I had for dinner the following night. I would definitely go again if I was in that area of Transit for some reason.

I've heard great things about this place and finally had the chance to try it out! Located in Lockport, it's a little far from me but I'm glad I came. The inside is absolutely adorable and super vibrant! There were cute little decorations everywhere. Since I'm not the biggest fan of cheese, I ordered the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo which is shrimp cooked in garlic sauce. It came with a guac salad, beans, rice, and tortillas. I thought the shrimps were flavored perfectly! Not bland at all with lots of garlic. Everything was delicious and the portions were big. The service was also great! The waitress was attentive and came to our table a few times to make sure we were doing okay. I would recommend!

Looking for a nice dinner on our little getaway. So glad we found this Mexican gem. We were seated and greeted by our server quickly, and chips and salsa were brought to our table. They have a large menu, like a lot of mexican restaurants I've been to, so I decided to watch the dishes that were being served. The fajitas sizzled and looked wonderful, so that is what I ordered. The steak, chicken and shrimp combo. It came with 3 warm flour tortillas, rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. The steak, chicken and shrimp was all cooked nicely and everything was delicious

As far as authentic Mexican food goes this place is right up there with many in the Western New York area. It presents as a "dive" but those are often the best restaurants around, it's rather small inside and the atmosphere is that of any Mexican restaurant you'll go to. I went with the Amigo Special which consisted of a burrito filled with chicken and chorizo, topped with cheese dip and burrito sauce and served with a side of rice and beans. The cheese and sauce was very tasty, not spicy. My wife tried the Fajita Burrito which was filled with sliced chicken, green peppers, onion, tomato, also topped with the cheese sauce and rice and beans. She is a big fajita fan and she enjoyed these. The complimentary chips & salsa was also good, not spicy at all. I also sampled a Pina Colada which I thoroughly enjoyed! Probably one of the best I've had. So if you're looking for a nice little authentic Mexican restaurant, give them a try!

Truly a great find! Authentic, delicious, fairly priced Mexican food. We enjoyed sitting on the patio outside to take in the sunny autumn day. Pleasant and sweet owner/server. Will definitely return. Eager to try the margaritas and other dishes. I had the lunch fajita mixed chicken and beef. Daughter had her usual chicken burrito. We were both impressed!

Ordered delivery from here and it's nothing short of amazing. The lunch sized meals are easily enough for two. I got the chicken fajita lunch special and it tasted fresh off the grill and the ingredients were super fresh. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. My first time here and I'll be back for more.

Definitely my go to in Lockport for a filling lunch. I usually get the taco salad with chicken and I'm a huge fan of the Queso fundido!

The man working at the register is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and the service here is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a handful of tacos including vegetation, chorizo, carnitas, birria and two others I can't remember. Since it was our first time here I also wanted to try some of the sides to compare to my favorite Mexican spots and we ended up with chips, queso, beans, and chocolate tres leches cake. The toppings bar is absolutely the best in Western, NY with anything that you can imagine (except for radish slices). Our food was ready in just a few short minutes and all was to our liking. My husband felt that the birria was a little bland and I thought the beans were a little too soupy, but considering the spread we ordered and the excellent service that can be forgiven. Great spot if you're willing to make the drive.

"When She Says Sushi, It's Game On!"…read more Finding a great date night spot can be challenging, but Steak Stone & Sushi delivered a wonderful evening from start to finish. I brought a longtime family friend here for dinner, and to my surprise she suggested sushi. Well, when a lady says sushi, it's game on! The atmosphere was relaxing, comfortable, and perfect for catching up over good food and conversation. She ordered the drink special, which I believe was a Cherry Chocolate Martini, and it looked every bit as good as she said it tasted. We started with the Coconut Shrimp, and that turned out to be an excellent choice. Light, crispy, and full of flavor. Before we shared sushi rolls, I had to order the Flying Red Fish. I was hoping to find Ikura on the menu, but this was the next best thing and it definitely satisfied my craving. For our rolls, we shared the Rock N Roll, which was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, great presentation, and the kind of sushi that keeps you reaching for another piece even when you're already full. What made the evening special wasn't just the food--it was the opportunity to reconnect with a good friend over a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a date night destination, a place to celebrate, or simply somewhere to enjoy good sushi and conversation, Steak Stone & Sushi is well worth a visit. I'd happily do this one all over again.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The hibachi was not very good. I wish they had more than Sriracha for a hot sauce. The hibachi chicken was also very sweet. Overall, we both definitely would not do the hibachi again, even if it were priced cheaper. Overall, all menu items were priced much higher, but this is common amongst restaurants nowadays and in this economy. Would we come back? If we were really craving the experience of cooking a steak on one of their stones. The prices are high enough to where we are now considering going here as we are paying a rather high amount to cook our own steak.
