Went here for a little comfort food on a dreary rainy day. The Cheesy Chick hit the spot. The staff were friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the decor and while it was spring break on campus could see it as a bustling site. The sandwich was a combination BLT and a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. The bacon was crusty, the toasted bread had a nice crunch and none of the parts overwhelmed each other. The pickle I got on the side was crisp and not overly garlicky. Definitely will go back next time I'm on campus. read more

I stopped in to Cheesy Chick as part of a Yelp Elite event and got to try a free sample of their Mac N' Nachos; mac and cheese topped with nacho chips. The place itself is very quaint, and I know it's been around for a while--I have actually enjoyed their food previously when their food truck visited my workplace. The people working there were extraordinarily kind, attentive, and pleasant. The atmosphere was entirely charming. I could have taken a lot of time touring their knick knacks. I was excited for this yelp elite event because the grilled cheese I previously had from their food truck was unbelievably good. Maybe my expectations were too high, based on that earlier experience, or maybe the flavor of this particular dish just didn't land quite right for my palate. It is also possible that I was confused what I was leaving with. When I walked in, I told the person that I was there for the elite event and they said to wait a second because cookies are coming out of the oven and she didn't want to send me out with a burnt cookie... so maybe I was a little disappointed that after giving me the container they asked me if I wanted to buy anything else. I understand they are running a business, and the approach felt a bit... misdirection-ed? I took the food back to my workplace and found myself a bit underwhelmed. The mac and cheese wasn't bad; actually, it was good. Still, I have a palate that likes bold flavor. The flavor was there. Tasted like some black pepper, maybe some smoked paprika? It was good. It definitely wasn't as bold as I might have expected. If I'd had some hot sauce handy, I would have enjoyed it far more? Also, I guess somewhat parenthetically, one of the chips fell out of the container, and when I tried it on its own, I was surprised it didn't seem very fresh; just slightly squishy to the bite. Given the chance, I would definitely return, but this particular dish probably wouldn't be my first choice next time. read more

I've been enjoying the cheesy chick for years from their food truck at Larkin to their location on main. The owner is so nice always willing to chat and the food is yummy and prepared with love and care. Their location on main is a touch cramped but it's cute inside with enough seating. Some parking available out front and you can park on main street as well. Her food is good and the prices are as well! Thank you for hosting us for yelp the taco Mac and cheese was yummy read more

The staff is very friendly and greets you upon arrival. The business also has paintings all around that when purchased a portion of profits are donated to the special olympics. The menu has breakfast and lunch/dinner items. Very small looking from the outside, but has room to sit and dine inside. There are also some games in the dining area. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese was delicious! The addition of the bbq sauce with the tenders and cheese really gives it a delightful taste. The taco nachos had no meat products which was good for me since I don't eat red meat! I would've wanted more cheese or queso for a nacho, but not bad at all! read more

Service was friendly and quick! The food had amazing flavor and was a good price for the quality and quantity. It is very relaxed in the restaurant, thou it is a small space and some of the color choice make it feel darker than it is. I appreciate they are partnering with the special Olympics to help raise awareness of special needs individuals and sponsor an athlete read more

Apparently this was in my drafts for quite some time but I need to make sure it's shared! I have to start by saying, I'm not a huge fan of grilled cheese so coming here on my own without having the Yelp event, would probably not have happened. Now that I have, it will not be my last time! The location is super convenient as I'm always driving through williamsville to get somewhere. The parking lot is nice because it's off street parking and it's super easy to get in and out of. The cafe is small but there are plenty of tables to dine in but we had some errands so we got our food to go. I thought it was a cute touch to have decks of cards on the table or games available to play while you wait for your food. The Yelp offer was just their standard grilled cheese but also came with soup and the choices were tomato or broccoli cheddar. I went with the broccoli and it was very good! The grilled cheese was very cheesy and buttery, exactly what you would be looking for. The star though was the breakfast grilled cheese which I was surprised was an option that i ordered with just egg and cheese because my daughter is vegetarian but there is the option of meat as well. Just look at the cheese pull in the pic! I am looking forward to going back to try one of the other sandwich read more

Look, I am a creature of habit, I know this. It helps when the places I like have great menus and even better service! I again was running around for meetings today and had to grab lunch for myself and bring home lunch for the family. This led me back to one of my favorite lunch spots in Buffalo. Did I get the biggie again? Of course. BUT, did I think about getting something else? A little bit, yeah. The biggie is delicious as always and I brought home a BLT wrap as well. I had half of both and I might be exploring more of the menu next time I head over. It was such a great and filling lunch. I can't wait for the warmer months when the truck is out again but I do love the coziness of the cafe and enjoying lunch there as well. read more

This place is a must .. the food is absolutely delicious! Today I had the Big Phil Mac & cheese and it was as tasty as can be. It was too hot to cook, I was just getting out of work and it couldn't have worked out better because I had to go right by here on the way home. I also got the homemade tomato soup as a side and there's nothing else like it. I walked in and within 10 minutes I was walking out with my meal to enjoy at home. The service was quick and the food was hot and I was starving. I could have stayed and ate my meal at the cute little outdoor table, but I chose to just go home. Love this place! read more

I glanced at the menu and just asked which sandwich had turkey in it. I was told the B.L.T.T.C., but any of the other sandwiches could be switched out to have turkey. I decided to stick to the BLTTC and was glad I did. It was served warm on thickly sliced toasted bread. In case you did not guess the ingredients: bacon, lettuce, tomato and turkey club. No mayo, unless requested! It was a great sandwich and quite large. I brought 1/2 home for lunch tomorrow! read more

Really cute location with friendly service at the counter. Got the Buffalo chicken Cheesus sandwich- Mac n cheese with Buffalo chicken on Texas toast. The Texas toast was incredible and the flavor and texture of the Mac n cheese was perfect, though it almost seemed a little more BBQ than hot sauce, which was fine. My only feedback was the quality of the chicken- it was that rubbery sort of chicken you might find in premade salad packages and the like. Otherwise, would go there again. read more

After I came here for a Yelp event, I had ordered food to go I got an order of mac & cheese, which I didn't really care for. It definitely was not cheesy enough. It just taste like macaroni with a little bit of cheese on it. I also ordered the BLTTC sandwich which was pretty good, but a little small. My son ordered the pizza Sammie and said it was really good And I can tell from experience with their grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup taste like and they're both amazing you must go and get those. The grilled cheese sandwiches made on Texas toast, and it was so delicious. I am definitely going back for that. The tomato soup was nice and thick instead of real thin and runny. I like the way the soup really stuck to the sandwich without dripping all over the place. I am definitely making it a point to go back and get the grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, and I'm definitely going to give their pizza. Sammie a try. I'll probably try some more things from the menu too. Their prices are a bit steep, but it is a local restaurant and the food is good so it's worth it. While we were there, a lot of people were coming in and out for pick up orders, so they are obviously a very busy restaurant and in order for them to be busy they must be good. Especially on a cold winter evening I say, go there and get yourself some food while you sit down and eat or take out. You will not regret it. read more

I've seen their food trucks many times but this was the first time at their brick and mortar location. We decided to try a few things. First up was the Philly grilled cheese. It was loaded with the philly style steak and gooey mozzarella cheese. The peppers and onions added a nice crisp. The pizza Sammie was not only loaded with pepperoni but also had it on the outside of a sandwich. That was a pleasant surprise since I love pepperoni. There was just enough marinara sauce to coat the sandwich and not overpower it and thr garlic butter toast had a nice amount of garlic. Both sandwiches were a bit greasey but not bad enough to stop me from ordering again. For Mac and cheese dishes we ordered the philly Mac and cheese (guess we like philly steak) and the Buffalo Mac and cheese. The philly was pretty much like the sandwich but on mac and cheese. Tasted fine. The Buffalo's chicken was nice and tender and juicy. Not dry at all. I actually could have used a little more hot sauce and less bbq sauce. I'll request that next time. A pretty good meal, well actually 2 meals, and we enjoyed them both. 2022-41 Overall review 500! read more

For the first time in a while I was disappointed in my meal. First I ordered the basic Mac n Cheese was given a grilled cheese. And when I called them they said well you went charged for Mac N cheese. So I decided to let my wife have the apple pierogi only to discover the gave us undercooked potato pierogi with cinnamon and some crisp strip of apple, not the usual apple filled pierogi. read more

I can't remember the name of the little eatery that was here prior, but I was a little bitter they closed and put off trying The Cheesy Chick for a bit too long. Finally, I purchased a Groupon and came in with my son for 2 sandwiches and 2 sides. My son ordered the Buffalo Chicken and Mac and cheese and I ordered the Philly with a side of potato salad. My son and I both tried and enjoyed each other's food. My son actually liked my selections better and requested my order instead next time. The menu isn't huge but it's an excellent choice for some cheesy comfort food. I already bought another Groupon to use in the future. Please note there are also drinks and desserts! And gluten-free options! read more

This place was very cute. It's kind of tucked away so you really have to look for it. I loved how homey it felt and we were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. I forgot to take pictures of the most important thing, the food, but it was quite good! I ordered the pesto grilled cheese and added chicken and the tomato soup. My boyfriend got the chili Mac & cheese. I loved the soup, the grilled cheese was pretty good too! The Mac & cheese could have used a bit more flavor for my liking, but it was still good. One of the best things was that they had an entire separate menu for gluten free, and for vegan & vegetarian. Being a grilled cheese place, I wasn't expecting that. Although I try to stay away from dairy, I didn't this time, but it's good to know when I go back. Overall, this was a great stop and I would definitely come back if I'm out that way. read more

We stopped by on our way home and ordered the ABC grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and apple on wheat bread, the apple & cinnamon pierogies, and a regular size portion of their Mac&cheese. We ordered it To-Go, and it came packaged really well with my name on the bag, which was a very cute touch. I started out with the apple pierogi first because we were driving, and it was pretty good. Nice apple consistency and strong cinnamon flavor. Next, I took a bite of the sandwich, and it was tasty. It felt like something my mom made when i was a kid. The bacon was crisp and the apple tart. I'd like to see a heartier piece of bread and more cheese, but it was good. The mac&cheese was decent. I felt like it was more on the dry side and didn't have that melted cheese texture that I crave frome a homemade dish. It was closer to a buttered noodle with some cheese flavor. I enjoyed it, but I'd like to have more cheese - maybe melted on top or a bit of cheese sauce added before being served. I mean, it's in their name, so I thought it would be very cheesy. read more

Soup Stroll Williamsville 2/2023 Broccoli cheddar 2/10 This was not good at all. I only had 2 bites. It tasted mostly like carrots. Chili 2/10 Also not very chili tasting. So many beans... gross. Would never eat these soups again from here. read more

Another visit to the Cheesy Chick and another great lunch. I tried their Philly sandwich before and decided to have it again. Good choice! It is a basic grilled cheese sandwich with Philly style steak, mozzarella, peppers, onions and BBQ sauce. I don't remember the BBQ sauce from my previous visit, but is is wonderful. It gives the sandwich a touch of sweetness that goes together very well with the other flavors. Looking for a lunch spot? Cheesy Chick is the place to go! read more

This was the other food truck we had for our employee food trucks. I wasn't too sure at first about cheese on the go and couldn't imagine what this would taste like. We'll all I can imagine now is when can I have this AGAIN!!! I unfortunately was unable to capture pictures because everyone devoured theirs before I had the chance. A buddy of mine allowed me to sample her Philly cheese and that caught me by surprise! This was some of the juiciest meat, savory cheese, onions and peppers nestled on top of some of the most FANTASTIC bread the was buttered by angels! Delicious! The staff also arrrived earlier than expected and got straight to work. Based on the employee feedback, they answered questions about vegan/gluten options. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday. Came with a friend after a little shopping. We were greeted as soon as we came in the door. We sat down and were quickly brought menus. I was in the mood for breakfast and they had some stuff that looked good on the menu but I thought to myself this is the Cheesy Chick, I should try the macaroni and cheese. I'm glad I did. After looking g over the menu I settled on the Philly Mac N' Cheese and my friend tried a build your own breakfast sandwich. Both were hot and fresh and made quickly. They both tasted very good and the price was fair. After we ate we sat and chatted for a good while and no one bothered us. We enjoyed it and ourselves quite a bit. I'll be back soon. read more
